I purchased these a couple of weeks ago and while I found the sound and microphone worked great, the headband adjustability was not all that comfortable. To boot, this model had some serious issues with charging up correctly. The charge indicator was stuck on "green" whether it had a full charge, half charge or was about to die. I looked up in the forums and found its a common issue with similar people reporting the charge light being stuck on "red". The headphone maybe kept a charge for an hour or so before instantly turning off. There's no LED lights for this (which is odd considering the price) and the app software is kind of lackluster. I finally returned them and got a Razer instead.

Most headsets and headphones aren't this complex but this take it to a whole new level. It took me 1 rage filled hour to set up to software for it. It forced me to restert the computer 3 times because the drivers faild from doing something as simple as changing it from stereo to 7.1 surround sound. It took far to long to troubleshoot for something that should be as easy as plug and play. As for the 7.1 surround sound I was able to test it out after the troublshooting and it was lack luster at best. I am so disapointed with this experience. I'm sure other versions are butter but this arctis 7 blows hard for me.

I am giving two stars only for the quality of the software and the build quality of the headset. The microphone sounded like it was from the dollar general and it could not be fixed

Sound quality was not that great. Microphone quality wasn’t either, at least not for the asking price anyways. Ended up returning this and got a Logitech G Pro X and liked it better.

Really 0/5 stars. Bought a pair happy I got a headset then when the battery died I had problems charging it as it wouldn’t charge m, just die again after a couple minutes of use. THIS HAPPENED FROM THE FIRST TIME TRYING TO CHARGE. Just stays in blinking red status. Looked into how to fix and learned this issue is very common with the product and tried to fix it by resetting it and it worked for a week. Now the problem came back and it’s passed my two week return window.... PLEASE LOOK AT ANOTHER PRODUCT AND RETURN IF THIS STARTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS.

The product would be better if not for weird audio issues, and it turning itself off. Going to stick with Razer products from now on. Never had issues with their products

Not the best headset, I feel like the audio is pretty bad, even if you tweak it with the software you can download. My Astro A10’s sound 100% better than these, so I’m disappointed.

I purchased these 9/25/2020 and returned on 9/28/2020. I wanted to like them so badly but the sound quality was worse then the a old Walkman cd player from the 90s. I couldn't tell were any footsteps were coming from and never owned a set of headphones that I could max the volume on and still not be hear what was happening in the game. Luckily bestbuy has an awesome exchange policy and let me get a different set from another company.

The sound quality of these headphones is so unbelievably bad that they went back in the box in less than 5 minutes to be returned. No highs and muddy mids that sound like they're coming out of a tunnel. I cannot understand how people use these for gaming since you can't hear any of the high frequency sounds that provide clues about other players in the game. I would love to use these for the gaming features, but they would be a hindrance for gaming due to the terrible sound quality.

Please try out these headsets first. I tried the Razer Wireless and these and they both have issues with surround sound working correctly with all drives installed. I did all the troubleshooting I could think of and Wireless headsets at this price now a days does not have the power to provide true 7.1 surround sound and quality sound. I wish I just got the wired headsets or spend the extra hundred dollars for a quality headset. Go look at the 250 plus price range when considering a wireless headsets.

Purchased in September and by December it no longer charges. Check online and see its a known issue and sometimes a factory reset corrects it, but no luck. Will have to see if I can replace through Best Buy or not - as it doesn't seem to be in stock any longer.
