Good product! They work great and once you figure out the software your able to make them louder though its really not needed. The sound is amazing right outta the box. I have been using them for 4 days so far without having to recharge them so battery life is awesome. Also Best Buy holds true on their price matching so always let them know if you find it at another store cheaper and get that bad feeling. If you buy them at Best Buy you wont get that bad feeling as the Price Match refund could not of been any easier. Thanks Best Buy!!

Probly the best gaming headset I’ve owned at a decent price

Headset is awesome! I like how sturdy and well built the headset!

I enjoy some the features this has to offer, wireless, pretty good battery life, the ability to mute on the headset, the two channels for audio so I could set it up for gaming vs chat sound. But the microphone hasn't lasted and isn't great. The mic can be pulled out and then tucked away, it can also be adjusted. Unfortunately when I went to adjust the placement one day it cracked. Then it cracked again. There's plastic covering for the microphone arm and it cracked in several places when trying to just adjust it normally, then it got caught on those cracks as I pulled it out one day and stripped a piece off. Now there is constant static from the mic so I can't really use it. Audio has always seemed fine though I don't keep the regular volume dial set to max on the headset or else I get a whining noise. Ultimately I enjoy some of the features and enjoyed the headset for a while, but kind of expected it to last a bit long - so set expectations for that.

So let me be clear and start by saying these are not at all a bad pair of headphones. In truth I could be very happy with these. Let me also be clear I was looking to upgrade from a cheapo pair of headphones for gaming (primarily PS4) that I had for some time. I did extensive research and narrowed things down to these and the official Sony Platinum headphones. Now on to my findings... There is a lot these do well. I like the buttons/knob controls on the headset--this is done better then on the Sony's. This pair is also exceptionally comfortable--also an upgrade over the Sony's. The sound is where I take issue. I'd read a ton of reviews that raved about these headphones and, well, I found them to very good, but not close to the level of the Sony's--especially on PS4. If you happen to be playing one of about 8 games that has 3D audio, that is a game changer. I can probably recommend these if PC gaming is a big part of your life, but I just can't get to the point of liking these as much as many reviewers seem to. Again maybe my expectations were just set to high going in, and they arent bad by any means, but I wasn't blown away either.

The headset is comfortable, and if you tweak the sound with a decent 3rd party equalizer like Peace, it does well. If that were that, you'd be looking 4 to 4.5 stars. Sadly, the mini usb port into the headset was a problem soon after I bought it, but not enough of a problem to alert me that I should replace. I didn't realize it was happening but looking back I should have returned before it was out of warranty - the connection/housing of the mini usb port got looser and looser as I plugged the charger in/out, ultimately resulting in it detaching internally and failing to connect to charge as of today. I got just over a year of use out of these. I won't be buying SteelSeries again, I'll go back to Corsair or another brand.

I've had this head set for 3 years and it is just now starting to show degradation.

Easy to setup and get going. These are comfortable but not completely adjustable. Good sound once you calibrate.

I was tired of all the cables of my gaming audio devices (astro mixamp, ATH AD900X plus the ModMic). The line-in feature of Arctis 7 allows me to continue using the mixamp 7.1 virtual surround sound wirelessly. The headphone and mic sound quality is decent. One thing I don't like about the Arctis 7: the DTS sound was terrible. Just turn it off.

I have been using this headset for a few months now and it is a very comfortable and well-made headset I get plenty of battery life from it the only complain I have is sometimes it gets distortion with high volume but other than that the software you can adjust the setting and the eq is easy to set up.

Purchased this headset on a whim, and the sound is amazing and the mic quality on the PS4 is great. The have to be unplugged and plugged back in occasionally because the PS4 no longer recognizes it, but not a deal breaker for convenience.

I purchased these for my son with a new gaming laptop. He says these are excellent for gaming. He has had no issues with them not working. He hears well and the other players hear him well.

Arctis 7 Steelseries is definitely one of the top quality wireless headsets in the store, the stereo quality is just *chef kiss*

Has great insulation to reduce background noise, comfortable for many hours of gaming. for price, can't beat it.

Yeah, I just bought these, but I wanted to say this one thing: Don't buy Razer! I spend 3 hours trying to get their horrible software uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, and tweaking to work properly just to ultimately never get working stereo with Windows in their headset! Forget about surround sound . . Not so with the Arctis 7. Literally 60 seconds from box to fully functional. No software to install. No hassles. Just plug in the receiver, turn on the headset, and enjoy. Windows seamlessly handles the rest.
