Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you find this headset on sale I would highly recommend it. It fits well and has excellent surround sound. My only gripe is that at least on mine the charging port doesn’t secure the charging cable so sometimes it falls out if I don’t store it correctly.

Needed head set with mic for working at home
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did all the research and kept coming back to the Arctis 7 for price and function. Works great, sounds great, battery last a long time. Very comfortable when wearing all day long. Only con is the full over the ear can be too warm after wearing a long time.

Comfort, quality, ease of use.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can sum this review up in one sentence: I've owned these headphones before, left for another brand, and I still regret not staying with them the whole time. I've tried every brand and almost every major gaming headset model in production at Best Buy and other online retailers: Logitech (poor connection quality, poor materials, uncomfortable headbands), Corsair (Logitech and Corsair wireless signals conflict, can't have a Logitech mouse and Corsair headset), Razer (poor quality overall, mic sounds like a wind tunnel in an utterly silent room, breaks after a year), and even Sennheiser and Audio Technica. The only brand I can say I've come back to for a 2nd round is SteelSeries. The headphones are stellar, wired or wireless. The earcups are large and comfortable, plush but breathable. The headband sits snugly on your head without putting too much pressure on it. The retractable mic makes sessions where you aren't gaming or talking more convenient: you don't have to keep this long mic arm sticking out of the earpiece and in your field of view when you don't want it, or if you have a removable mic (looking at you Corsair) you'll lose the mic sometimes when you need it. The audio quality itself is very good, too. The "surround" features are excellent, and sound stage is clear, somewhat open for a close back headphone. I even use these to listen to music sometimes when I want a wireless solution, and am still impressed by the quality. (This is coming from an "audiophile" with high end headphones and amps specifically purchased for music.) The wireless distance for these headphones is very good, too. I can walk from my desk to my kitchen to grab a drink and still hear and talk just fine. If you have a lot of walls between you though, the wireless signal might cut out, but if you have decent line of sight, you can walk a good distance with no drop in quality or connection. The software is good, too. Only software I haven't felt was intrusive by a gaming brand. It's there when I want it, not there when I don't want to see it. Overall 9/10 for these headphones, the only reason I'm not giving it a 10/10 is because they don't make me an aimbot in Apex Legends. Give these a try and I promise you, you won't go back to other "gaming" brands again.

Great headset for work and play
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the lightest and most comfortable headset I have owned in this price range. Just changed from a Logitech G935 to these, and the mic quality and comfort as well as wireless performance and drivers, blow the Logitech out of the water.

Great sound quality and super comfortable!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality and super comfortable! I use these almost every day and they work fantastic. They are loud and adjustable. The retracting mic makes it really easy to quickly go from talking to mute in a second

Gaming Headphones are a Gimmick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I was searching and reading as I was in the market for gaming headphones, I came across someone who said that gaming headphones are a gimmick. I should have listened. The cashier who was ringing me up was telling me how he had the exact same pair and loved them. Out of the box, they sound like crap. Had to scour the internet for EQ settings and voila! They actually sound decent now! The best part about these headphones are the battery life, they last so long I keep forgetting to charge them. The range is also great. However like that person said, gaming headphones are a gimmick you're better off buying REAL headphones and an external mic if you can save or afford it. The only reason why I haven't returned these is because my last pair were done for.

Great Headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soft cushions around the ears that sit comfortably on your head. Can be used for hours without getting uncomfortable. Long battery life with long usb charging cable should you need to charge the headset while playing.

Meh
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love hate relationship with how the mic was set up. Just didn't like it that much. Good sound quality and such but it just wasn't what i liked in a mic.

Pretty great but didnt cut it.....
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually returned these but they deserve a review because they were great. I found these on a pretty famous youtube channel hosted by a goofy skinny dude with a high pitched voice(you can probably guess). I gave them a try due to the range they boasted on the video and i gotta say they did not disappoint. The sound is great....not amazing...but still pretty great. The mic however left something to be desired. It was nasally and had a slight twang. I tested 4 different headsets and these were a close second to the Logi G-ProX wired ones I ended up keeping. The connection hub is the best feature of these. The headband is also pretty comfy and plenty tight but doesn't squeeze my head during long play times.(I have an average size head..maybe just slightly large

Great Headset
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding headset. The sound quality is very good as well as the battery life. My favorite feature is the ability to connect a phone via Bluetooth to listen to music while playing a game.

Pretty decent
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It doesn’t have noise canceling and when you take off the headphones and have it in full volume others can definitely hear everything you are hearing but other then that I really love the comfort. It’s very good and I love how it’s built.

Good Headset, but not perfect for PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality, comfort and construction of this headset are all top notch. The top piece is metal, yet it rests above your head due to the strap. My biggest complaint is that the USB receiver was a long cable that only worked in one of the back USB slots on the PS5. This made it a pain to move between a PC and PS5 to adjust the sound settings. Due to this I returned it and got the Arctis 7P that uses a USB-C wireless receiver that was much better for my set up and also works with my phone. Otherwise, the headsets are practically identical, which still makes it a great option depending on your setup. It's definitely a PC first headset. One final note is that the sound doesn't get very loud even on full volume. This could be an issue if you are hard of hearing at all.

Easy Setup, Consistent Quality, Weird Band
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a couple weeks of use, I'm pretty happy with this purchase! I bought it for use with my PC and it was very easy to set up, understand the controls, and start using. The audio and mic quality has been pretty solid, as has the connection (even when I walk around my house as long as there aren't too many walls between me and the receiver). My favorite feature is definitely the built-in chat/game audio mixer on the right side. My one complaint has been the headband- it is adjustable, and the material is comfortable, but the band ends up sort of floating above your head in an odd way. Super minor complaint all things considered! I also had some minor irritation while wearing glasses and due to a helix piercing which can be somewhat annoying after a while, but again, a very minor bother. Definitely recommend.

Best Wireless Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great features and sounds really good, battery life is insane. I had a little problem with having more than one wireless antenna next to each other, which gave me some static popping, but once I moved them 1-2 feet apart I've had no problems.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hearing quality is fantastic and I use this for the PS5. The wireless is seamless with the PS5 and the outside noise cancellation makes the gaming experience so much better. Sound is clear and crisp.

My new goto
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for a replacement after turtle Beach discontinued my last favorite pair of wireless headsets. After a few unsuccessful attempts these will be the ones I stick with for a bit. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn with great features and thoughtful controls/audio. The only gripe if any is i needed to tune it in their software a little bit more than some of the others I have tried however once setup run perfectly and without all the issues that have plauged me with other pairs. Also the headset is on the smaller side which is a plus.

Wireless with decent sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently use these for my current WFH setup. The mic works well with noise canceling, the comfort of wearing them is great even during my whole shift. The wireless range is around 20ish feet with walls, so not bad!

Great for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I've used many set of low to high end, wired and wireless headphones, stereo and surround, gaming and non gaming headsets. the steelseries headsets have always sounded best across all price points. These sound just like my Arctis 5 wired, which are also great, good spatial separation, fairly large sounds stage, decent software, no fake surround echo quantization sounds....looking at you, Hyper X Good stuff the money. People say they break at the cup support. I've never had an issue with the same style on my Arctis 5's I've had for 2 or 3 years...I mean just don't throw them across the room. Pick up a pair if your looking, worth the money.

The unique design with the band strap create a comfortable fit on the ears with almost no clamp force. Sound quality is great. Try to get them on sale for a better deal.
