TL;DR: Wireless connectivity issues make the product not reasonably usable. The headset, when it works, is fine. The listening quality of the audio is good. The mic does make your voice flat but it is surprisingly good at detecting your voice and not picking up ambient noise. It is comfortable to wear, good clamping force on the head, I wear glasses so that is an important feature for me. The problem with this headset is it's connectivity issues. I've rearranged my living space to minimize any possible interference, I've uninstalled and reinstalled all related drivers/software, contacted SteelSeries customer support, tried every USB port on my computer, there is no way to get consistent connectivity from this device. The headset makes a quick beeping noise when it connects to the dongle, as I wear the headset right now it sounds like I'm listening to a Morse code message at half speed. If I could afford to buy a new headset right now, I would. $135 for less than a year of a usable product of this type is unacceptable in my opinion. I strongly recommend you do not buy this headset. Having owned other SteelSeries products, I'd only recommend buying SteelSeries products for children or careless adults, someone you don't expect to take good care of things they own.

Got this to replace a Razer Man O'war that kept losing signal from the dongle even though it was less than 2ft away from me and could already tell the difference in quality for something that was $70 less (Man O War was $200 when I got it). Stay away from Razer products. Seems like cost is in advertising while they use cheap plastic for their products that always seem to have issues right after their warranty period. Quick Google will show what I'm talking about. Happy to find a replacement after I've been naive for so long.

Most gaming headsets don't sound great, especially wireless ones but the Arctis 7 is decent enough. You can make these sound better with EQ and/or swapping out the pads if you need to. Where the value lies with this headset is the features. The chat-mix dial and mic mute are extremely convenient if you use an app like Discord often. Wireless range is pretty good overall, I'm able to walk several rooms away and still stay connected. If you absolutely need the convenience of a wireless gaming headset, this is a great buy. If not, you're better off getting a quality higher end headphone and separate mic.

These are some amazing headphones. The convenience of having both wired and wireless options are great. The sound quality is another of it's many benefits.

This headset is fantastic. Clear sound coming in and going out. The battery life is decent. The versatility of using it with PC/PS4/Xbox One made it a no brainer choice for me.

This headset has great sound and everyone says my mic sounds better than it did with my previous headset, they’re also very comfortable.

Loved this headset - but ended up taking it back. My specific problem is rare - it did not fit my application. Let me explain... I was trying to use this headset in combination with a device called Tracker IR, which is a headset tracking device. One way (the easiest) is to use the device while wearing a baseball cap. This made the SteelSeries Arctis 7 a very tight fit, and was uncomfortable. In every other way, this is an excellent headset, when I tried it out alone. Highly recommended! I hated taking it back! I ended up choosing a headset from Best Buy that allows much more room for the cap.

my big concern was how heavy these might be being wireless. They are not, and really very comfy. I wear them 8 hours a day on average

Very clear audio, long battery life, friends have said that my mic quality has improved dramatically! Would 100% buy again! Great Product!

Microphone is poor whichis odd because the sound quality is good. The headphones are comfortable but would not recommend these if you are going to use the microphone alot.

Killer sound killer mic, I do wish the strap were easier to adjust, but whatevs- it's still pretty comfortable Good battery life too

I love this thing. Comfortable,long lasting battery,clear,nice mic that tucks in. Only con is you cant do XBOX one wireless, still need to use a cord.

Headset has excellent audio, battery is long lasting and installation took no time. Only complaint is the mic isn’t so great but, not bad either.

I am so happy with these. Battery last fairly long to play for a couple of hours. Sounds ia always great with good bass. No issues to this day

Headset feels sturdy and is very comfortable to wear. Battery life is exceptional so far. I have not tested range yet so not able to comment on that.

Picked up 2 units for our kids for xmas - they are extremely happy with them. Range is good and sound quality is great. I may pick up some for myself!

Very comfortable headset. Can wear for hours with no discomfort. Battery lasts for days. Only charged twice in the 3 weeks I've owned it. Highly recommended
