I have used wired headphones for years for PC gaming. Decided to splurge and spend a similar amount for a wireless headset. Adjusting sound by the knobs is easy, the retractable mic doesn't get in the way, and I can now walk around the home without being tied to my PC.

Great headset for gaming and sound is excellent, just ok when it comes to Zoom meetings, was told sound was a bit muffled (switched to a wired USB headset for that purpose). Also it is a bit heavy so hard to keep it on for too long

I use these primarily for PS4 gaming. At first I had some complaints from my gaming friends about my mic volume being too low. After updating the firmware via connecting to my PC this issue was resolved and they can hear me clearly. The sound quality and comfort of these are top notch!

To take full advantage of the Arctis 7 sound quality You gotta download steel series software To adjust your EQ such as you High’s, Mids, Bass, etc. and to enable side tone feature to hear your own voice while in party chat

All in all they are a good pair of headphones far better than Sony 3D pulse in my opinion. Does have good feedback sound with the new 3D audio that again in my opinion Sony does not provide the same sound quality as the pair of headphones that I had purchased.

Actual audio quality is nice when it's working properly but before adding this to your cart do some quick research about it dropping connection to the wireless fob that connects it to your pc. After about ten days mine would start dropping and reconnecting as much as 20 or 30 times a minute. It's apparently a common issue and steelseries is a pain to contact. In addition, these are very snug fitting, much more so than I would prefer and I don't have an especially big head. The muffs are comfortable but not especially so after a couple hours of wear. I regret not trying these on first before ordering due to best buy's unforgiving return policy. Not worth the hundred bucks I paid for these.

Little on lighter sound profile compared to Turtle Beach headphones (which I absolutely love beside their weak plastic build- broke two set of them before) but a perfect balance of comfort and sound. Very nice design than other competition.

Hands down best headset in the game!!! I’ve been rocking my other arctis 7 for 5 years, got the newer ones because of the all black, I don’t like silver lol. Didn’t need a new set just wanted one and I’d do it again because they are the best

I have been using the steelseries for a year or 2 now and just got this one for my wife. She loves it. It was easy to set up and the fact that it is wireless makes it even better. We love it for gameing and even just being in discord as we cook or clean.

I’m a gamer and I love this headset. Clear crisp sound. Easy to use. I can walk around house and hear everything as if I were in front of computer. Mic is clear and adjustable. Love love this.

Love the ability to hear chat and the game and modify the sound for either. The ability to turn a single dial and still hear chat while the game volume is muted is wonderful. Highly recommend this headset. SteelSeries has good quality and good sound.

These headphones hit every quality metric. The sound quality is fantastic. The microphone quality is great and the chat dial nob is perfect for those who want a balanced experience. Don’t waste money on cheaper versions of headsets. This is the one!

Starting off with one thing: this headset doesn't sound as good as a good pair of stereo headphones meant for listening to music. If that's your goal, don't get these. However, if you want to play games with friends, these are pretty awesome. The wireless dongle is great: it includes a 3.5mm audio output - when the headphones are off, it will drive your speakers. It seamlessly switches between speakers and headset as you turn them on and off. It also exposes TWO audio devices: one for games, and one for teamspeak/discord and includes a physical mixer switch on the headset! This combined with the volume control means you can dial in the mix you want in a second or two, without having to alt-tab out of a game. My only real complaint is that the mute button is difficult to find and press. SteelSeries software is the best of any gaming manufacturer I've used. It's a pleasure, which feels weird to write.

Purchased these for my wife and she loves them. She had a Turtle Beach headphones that while had good sound they were tight fighting and would give her a headache after wearing for any length of time. Thinking of getting these headphones if my Logitech ones ever bite the dust.

Great headphones for the price I got them at. But they aren’t the best out there. The sound quality is decent and the mic quality is perfect for streaming. IMPORTANT: Be sure to update the firmware and configure the headset on your PC before using

Clear output mic audio. Game volume and chat volume! This means there are 2 different audio outputs on your PC for this headset, I will say the only downside of this headset is the 2-5ms delay on the Stereo audio vs the Mono audio. Not sure if that's something on my end, but really not noticeable to anyone unless you're editing quick sounds or testing differences between the two. One other downside is the headset won't stay on while it's plugged in, this was one thing I like about my old TurtleBeach so I can use it as a desktop mic when not on my head, however I just purchased a cheap desktop mic for that. I suppose the battery will last longer because of that. Overall still worth 5 star for the quality and feel of the headset.

This wireless gaming headset is amazing! Initially when I first put them on, it felt really weird. I was like, wt.. there's no way this is going to feel comfortable. Then 10mins later, I totally forgot they were even on my head.

Super nice to have wireless ones. I have a pair of wired syberia elite ones which are amazing as well. The ability to adjust chat and game volumes is amazing (took me some time to work it well but it’s amazing)

My son loves these! So far after many months of use, no issues. He uses these on a PS4 but I’ve used them on PC as well. To get side tones working correctly, you need to connect them to PC first.

Headset is light and comfortable, easy to use and setup. Having a retractable mic is great for when you just want to listen to music. Ultimately I returned them due to audio delay while gaming, after I returned them I found out there are some setting to try and sync the audio.
