Customers frequently mention the excellent sound quality and comfortable fit of the Arctis 7P Wireless headset. Many also praise the long battery life and the convenient retractable microphone. However, some users note that the bass could be improved and that the maximum volume might be insufficient for some. A few also point out the use of a micro-USB charging port instead of USB-C as a drawback.

Had the Sony Platinum headset but it was uncomfortable after a while. These are pretty comfortable and sound like my Sonys, just a little drop in the bass but all around good head set. Also like how it comes with an adapter for the Nintendo switch for anyone that owns a switch these also work with them. Overall pretty nice headset.

I bought these after trying the Pulse 3D headphones. These steelseries headphones are super comfortable! I love the cup in my ear and the materials feel great compared to other headphones. The buttons are great too, I like the volume being a dial and not a button.
There are buttons on both sides so it makes it easier to control while gaming or at night. The battery lasts a long time and the volume / sound is really good. I wish it was a bit cheaper but it is what it is, great head phones overall.

SteelSeries Arctic 7P Wireless has good sound for the gaming experience, there’s no distortion in the wireless connection. Battery life is really good averaging one charge for every three days that’s assuming you game for 8 hours per day. The accessibility is good there’s side dials for volume and side tone also a mute switch and retractable microphone is nice too. Headphones feels comparable for long periods of time.

After using Astro branded A50’s for years across Xbox and PlayStation… these are far better and at 1/2 the price! I now own these for PS5 and the ‘X7’ version for Series X. Let me start by saying this headset was the easiest to set up. On PS5 it is as simple as connecting your USB-C dongle to your console and powering on the headset. (You can adjust the volume controls and mute by physically touching your P7’s. But for more in-depth audio tuning, they connect to your PC or Mac to customize your audio profile.)
Now let’s talk ‘quality’.
The materials are ultra premium. Despite having a steel band and a battery that supports gaming for up to 24 hours on a single charge. These are light and extremely durable. My ears never get hot, which was an issue for all of my Astro sets. I can wear them for hours and they feel like I’m sporting a cloud on top of my head. The steel band keeps your headset sturdy and in good condition. While the elastic suspension band takes all the weight of the headset off your cranium.
Those two points alone are enough to make the purchase. But the sound is phenomenal. It brings PlayStation’s ‘3D Tempest’ audio engine to life and totally immerses you into every game you play.
I highly, highly recommend this headset.

These work really well and have great sound. The only reason for removing a star is that the volume isn't the loudest. The volume scroll wheel is a nice touch on the left ear cup. The ear pads are soft and comfortable on my ears and I've worn them for hours at a time with no issues. The only other potential issue with these is that if you have a large head, these might be tight. Friends have told me the mic is crystal clear, so far, so good. Finally, the battery life is amazing.

This is a really good headset. It lasts for a long time without charging, and the audio quality is amazing, the microphone is also really good compared to other built in microphones, and the mute indicator is not intrusive. My only wish is that the earcups where a little bigger, but they are very comfortable nevertheless. These are great and i would recommend them

I have had a few headsets for my PS5 and this is the best one I have had. From the mic, fit, and sound it’s most definitely my favorite! The sound is super solid and consistent. The battery life is way long and that’s perfectly fine with me. The comfort is definitely key for me. My only small complaint is that the charger is micro usb and not usb c.

Pulse 3D who?!

I originally purchased the Sony Pulse 3D headset. I returned it immediately as the comfort level was not good at all. I could feel the pressure on my head, and my ears physically hurt after wearing them only 20 minutes.
The Arctis 7P on the other hand are absolutely comfortable. The earcups are comfortable, dont make you sweat, and most importantly can be worn for hours on end with comfort not sacfificed. My only complaint is the bass could be a little better.
Also for the other review that indicates the dongle blocks the front usb port on the ps5 - it *does* come with a usb cable that the type c dongle can be connected to so its a non issue.
Coming from the hyperx cloud flight wireless headphones - these are a much needed upgrade with an excellent build quality and pleasing aesthetic. If you're torn between these and the pulse - I say get these so you don't waste your time on a return (and disappointment)

They are incredibly comfortable, and the sounf is amazing. I really like that the microphone can be put away in the headset itself, instead of having it always in the way when you dont need it. Battery life is also incredible, it lasts for hours and hours on a single charge.

While I'll always consider the Astro series, particularly the a50, to be the gold standard in video game headset tech, this steel series bad boy does a wonderful job for not just the PS5, but also the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, making it possibly the best headset value bang for the buck in gaming.
Comfort level is solid if unspectacular, with a weird, unique "ski goggle strap" at the top of the headset, resting between you and the metal top headband. It's interesting and odd, but it works to keep your skull away from the hard parts of the headset, and even a gigantic head like mine can just about fit nicely. Cups, too, aren't quite as padded as I'd like, but they're so large and expansive that the 3D sound has a chance to echo around nicely.
Battery life is extensive, nearly an all-day charge with a minimal amount of charge time via a USB micro charger.
Volume control is via a little analog wheel on the side of the left cup, next to a microphone cutoff button that really helps during those moments you need to burp or ask your cat to stop licking your Geralt figurines. Sound is high quality, though still not as good as my trusty a50s with their stereooptical connections. Alas, PS5 has none.
Overall a solid B+ or A-, a very good headset for PS5 and an extraordinary value when extended over the PS4 and switch. Recommended.

The most comfortable headset on the market at this price range. Much better fit around the ears compared to Sony's pulse 3D. Has great connections to PS5. No dropout, I was able to hear sounds from all directions. Great battery life.
Cons: Very hard to come by. Sells out quickly

Sounds great, comfortable to wear for long periods. Easy to adjust mic pickup and balance game and party sounds without hearing too much of yourself. Only negative is charging port is USB Micro instead of USB-C - it's nearly 2022 people.

Bought for a ps5. Was a turtle beach guy since the dawn of time. There latest headset was so riddled with bugs I decided to start shopping around. Tried everything from audeze penrose to razor black sharks and hated (and returned) them all.
Finally landed on this headset and my goodness are these perfect. Comfortable, sound is perfect, battery life lasts and they always work. No bugs, no issues, just perfect. The adjustable side tone (so you can hear yourself talk) is on point. Some headsets didn’t have this or it didn’t get loud enough. These however work great. They are wireless and I can walk around my entire house and never lose connection. Makes trips to the fridge nice! I definitely recommend these to any ps5 owner

Awesome headset. Great sound and very comfortable. I have a playstation and the PS headsets would hurt my ears and often the connection would cut out. I think these are a great value. The one thing I dont like is the wheels for volume adjustment. I would have much preferred buttons

Very comfortable headset and works great wirelessly. Doesn’t need to charge for long and stays charged for quite a while, and never had any connection issues. Turning it on/off takes a little longer than I like (having to hold it around 6 seconds or more to activate it compared to just a press) but I love that the battery is displayed via color on the button, so no invasive battery messages (as far as I’ve seen). The range of the bluetooth is also a little less than a set I had previously, but disconnecting briefly doesn’t mess anything onscreen up which I appreciate. Also, I love the scrolling volume bar and how huge of a range it has, plus the smoothness of the scroll makes it a good stim.
I got it for myself as a birthday gift and would completely recommend it for style, connection, ease of setup, and comfort.

The Steelseries 7p headphones are top notch. I also own turtle beach 700 ps4 pro headphones and I can honestly say the Steelseries is way better. On the PS5, you can literally hear every detailed sound in whatever game you are playing. It feels as if you are in the game! For example, I was playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider and I literally felt like I was running in the woods at points. The sound is so crisp and life like that you are immersed in the game. These headphone have amazing noise cancellation as well, which gives you a gaming experience unlike any other heasphones on the market in my opinion. Highly recommend purchasing these. They're expensive but you get what you pay for.
