Solid gaming headphones, but PS5 is true test...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had these for about a week now, going to do a YT review for these, but long story short, very impressed. Clear sound quality, long lasting battery that’ll cover you for days without recharging (unless you play 24 hrs straight), the USB-C dongle is clutch, along with the USB-A cord it comes with. Feels very light on your head with a light clamp on the headphones that feels secure without pressuring your skull. Only cons: a lot of wires- charge, micro usb to 3.5mm audio plug, usb-a to usb-c female adapter to use on switch dock, ps4, or pc... the 7P won’t work with XBox wirelessly, but the 3.5mm plug can go into the controller to dodge that whole thing. And the price... not really worth $150 to me, $120 would’ve been a more attractive price point honestly, but the real test is how this will work with PS5 3D audio, which Steelseries says online that all their headphones will work with... stay tuned.

Great Wireless Headset for PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these for my PS5, I've always had a wired headset so I was pretty excited to receive these. When I did get them first thing is the comfort, with glasses I was worried they would hurt after awhile but not at all they're comfortable even after wearing them for hours. As for sound quality these are awesome, can hear footsteps clearly and when playing a RPG the dialogue sounds crisp and clear. For the Mic, my friends tell me I sound pretty clear. The battery life on these things are pretty good, one minor annoyance though is when I'm In a PlayStation party I can't hear my sidetone but that's not the headsets problem it's more on PlayStations side. Anyways I would recommend to anyone who's looking to get a Wireless headset for the PS5.

Great Wireless Headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the Steel Series Arctis 7p headset for about a week and I’m enjoying it so far. This is my first wireless headset and I have not experienced any problems with audio while gaming. I only gave four stars because I wish the headset stated exactly how much battery life was left instead of relying on a color scale. I guess I’m just spoiled by my Bose headphones that tell me the battery percentage when I turn them on. Other than that I love this headset. I’ve gamed for a couple of hours every day since I’ve received it and the battery is still over 50%. I was worried the battery wouldn’t last as long as advertised but so far it has. I’ve read reviews that stated that the wireless Dongle for this headset covers up USB ports on the PS5, but the dongle is connected to a USB-A adapter cable that is plugged into either a PS5 or PS4. You don’t plug the wireless dongle directly into the PlayStation console. So, no ports should be covered up on the PS5. The headband is easily adjustable. I am a smaller woman and this headset fits my ears and head well and it’s very comfortable. The in game audio is amazing. I like to play horror games and I can hear audio cues better with this than with my wired headset. I haven’t been lucky enough to find a PS5 but this headset sounds great with my PS4. I highly recommend.

Solid headset with minor annoyances (PS5)
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these a little before the release of the PS5. They sounded really good on the PS4 and I could distinctly hear where enemies were or where different sounds took place in the game. On the PS5 this is 10x that. Of course I’ll give credit to 3D audio technology, but nonetheless this headset gives a really good balance of sounds, even if you’re playing a game and using Spotify at the same time. The reason I’m giving these 4 stars however is A) they’re not that great in with balancing the party chat audio and game audio, neither is game chat. B) they made the wireless fob too long for the ps5, so it covers a portion of the usb next to it, making it possible to use both ports at the same time. That’s pretty annoying since it basically makes me choose if I want to charge my headset or controller (and the ps5 controller NEEDS charge trust me). Overall, they’re a solid pair of headphones, super comfortable and have great sound, but I don’t think they’re worth $150 (prob about $120). I’d either go up a notch and buy Arctis 9s (since they’re Bluetooth as well) or shop around. Either way, while there’s room for improvement I’m happy with my purchase and I’d lightly suggest it to my friend lol

Overall amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never really owned a quality headset until this one. I have a Turtle Beach 70 wired headset, while I thought that sounded great I was totally wrong. Obviously there is a big price difference between them. This headset has rich base and makes it very easy to hear where your opponent is coming from! I like that you can monitor your audio with the dial on the headset. I have the 7X version of there for my Xbox Series X and honestly these 7P’s sounds a lot better. Not sure if it’s because of the 3D audio from the PS5 but they are just truly amazing sound wise. Build wise they are very comfortable, the ear cups are soft and the head strap is just makes it sit perfectly on your head. Another great thing is having the retractable mic, as a father of 3 it helps it survive a little longer from being broken by accident. The only thing i wish these had were a voice chat/game sound dial like the 7X. You can adjust that on the PS5 menu but that means interrupting your game to do so. Battery life is great, i go days before i have to charge the headset. Although I don’t game many hours a day so that’s also a factor as to why they last me son long. Other than that they are worth every penny, they match the PS5 color scheme and have zero complaints.

Steelseries arctic 7p
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset for the price. Got mine 2 years ago for my ps5 and have no issues with it, performs like it’s straight out of the box still. Wireless range is really good, I’ve walked down 2-3 flights of stairs with no issues

Q: QuestionDoes BestBuy carry the Arctis 7x?
Asked by Kirboom.
- A:Answer Doesn't look like it - I've checked everywhere and it seems like only SteelSeries's website is selling the 7x right now. If you poke around the website you should get a 10% off pop-up coupon though!

Q: QuestionWill this also work with series x?
Asked by AUSTDABOSS.
- A:Answer Recommend getting the Arctis 7x for Series X vs 7p for PS5. This one won't work out of the box for Xbox Series X.

Q: QuestionDoes this headset have a 3.5mm headphone port?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer Yes but it's just for delivering sound to another headset and listening. The mic does NOT work with the regular 3.5mm audio port. It has another proprietary port they built for both talking and listening. They pack that cable in the box.
