Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent sound quality and comfortable fit of the Arctis 7P Wireless headset. Many also praise the long battery life and the convenient retractable microphone. However, some users note that the bass could be improved and that the maximum volume might be insufficient for some. A few also point out the use of a micro-USB charging port instead of USB-C as a drawback.

Bought this 3 months ago and dropped it on a soft chair. Still works just not comfy and no place for your other ear the headphones would cut out a lot of the time save your money for the price it was a ripoff.

Good headset with major design flaw

Good headset with major flaw. The headset does not work with generic Bluetooth devices. It requires you to use a USB C Bluetooth dongle to use the headset. The dongle is large and blocks multiple USB ports on PC and PS5.

Returned, don’t like that I can’t balance the game and chat audio separately. The only volume was for my voice which seems silly to me, a good headset balances that automatically

One flaw that keeps it from being perfect.

They are a decent pair of headphones. Sound quality was not there for me. Over hyped. I returned them and got the turtle beach 700 gen 2. Love the TB.

I figured that the Arctic 7P, which is advertised as being designed for the PS5's 3D audio and also for PC, would be a nice future-proofed upgrade over my ageing 7.1 surround sound gaming headset. Wow, was I wrong. This provides no improvement in sound on my PS5. The console's 3D audio, which is a very impressive feature, doesn't sound any better through these than my current headset. Also, the USB-C dongle completely blocks the other USB port on the front of the system. Honestly, how did the designers miss that? However, that wasn't the worst part. It turns out that the Arctis 7P does NOT support surround sound on the PC. It doesn't even work with Windows 10's Atmos or Windows Sonic spatial sounds. You're stuck with stereo. I'm not sure why they didn't mention that, as surround sound is extremely important for gaming. Finally, the headset's small box arrived flopping around inside a very large carboard box, with no packing. I don't know what it is with Best Buy's shipping, but it's become absolutely horrible lately with everything I get from them. Time for me to stop being lazy, and start picking them up at the store instead.

The left ear cup was loose, and it makes a loud noise when you shake them a little bit. Might just be the shipping process.

Headset is alright. I bought these because the adapter I needed to use my A50's on my PS5 was sold out. Sound is meh, the software to change the EQ settings was a pain. I returned the headset and got the adapter to use my old headset instead.

Issue with one side going out

I believe mine are defective. Too late to return them now. When playing online and talking into the mic sometimes one side of the ear piece will literally go out and can only hear from the other side. Have to practically yell in the mic to get the sound to come back. Other than that issue there nice. It gets pretty annoying though.
