Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent sound quality and comfortable fit of the Arctis 7P Wireless headset. Many also praise the long battery life and the convenient retractable microphone. However, some users note that the bass could be improved and that the maximum volume might be insufficient for some. A few also point out the use of a micro-USB charging port instead of USB-C as a drawback.

These are the best headset I’ve used on my ps5! I previously had problems with older headset due to mic catching all the background sound and the steel series artic 7p have really great mic quality. The sound is amazing and best of all I’ve gone more than three days without charging and i be having 5 hour gaming sessions with them, best battery life I’ve experienced. Great customization with their app in PC which carries the settings from PC to the Ps5. Best quality sound and mic you’ll get for this price.

Pros: Ergonomic, aesthetics are great, sound is decent. Range is excellent. There is no active noise cancellation, but the passive works better than some headsets like the Astro A50. Cons: Headset won't switch automatically to TV audio when turned off. You have to either disconnect the dongle from ps5 or switch sound output in settings every time. Sound EQ profiles lack bass, and if you try and boost the bass through the app, it causes loud popping and cracking in some shooting games, even at half volume. These are not really good for gunfire or explosions. But good for hearing footsteps etc. The USB-C dongle covers your only other USB port in the front of the PS5, rendering it useless. It does have a USB-A to USB-C adapter with a long cable length, which is good. But the dongle shouldn't cover the only other front port on the PS5, especially from a headset marketed as being made specifically for the platform. Battery life is nowhere close to the 24 hours claimed. Realistically maybe 14-16 at half volume. No chat/game audio mixer. You have to go into PS5 settings each time to change your game/chat volume. No 3D audio for PS4. This is just cheap. Most $150 headsets have this functionality built in. These require ps5 Tempest engine to deliver 3D audio. On PS4, you only get stereo sound. It's bad. Real bad. No EQ selection on headset. You must plug into your computer to update your EQ settings for each game you play. The only feature on the headset is a wheel to adjust your sidetone (mic monitor). Yeah, so, worthless to most people. It charges off USB micro... Yeah. Why? It's pathetic. USB-C dongle, but charges from a micro connection. Sigh. The Sony Platinum headset is an overall better value. Sony discontinued this headset, but it can still be found online. The 3D audio works for both ps4 and ps5, party chat mixer is on the earcup, the mic works great and is internal, but battery life isn't as good as the 7P. The 7P is better than Sony Gold headsets, and even better than the Pulse headset. But it's lack of feature set for the PS5 makes me wonder if this headset was really built for something else in mind. It doesn't work that great for PS5 in my opinion. But it's just "ok".

These headphones are amazing and very comfortable. My only issue is that they don't have an app to customize the audio. I have to use a computer to do it.

I got great battery life and sound out of these headphones and everyone told me the mic sounded better then previous headsets ive had. Reasons i gave a 3 star are 1. The headset started to cut in and out randomly. Like it would lose the bluetooth connection then reconnect. This is after maybe 3-5 months of using them. And the 2nd being no way to easily switch between game audio and chat audio.

These headphones are awesome they have exceeded my expectations in every way. They fit comfortably over the ears and the cups have great cushion. The headband band design is genius. It is made of sturdy metal with an adjustable band. The sound quality is so immersive with PS5's 3d audio. Every sound from gunshots, to foot steps, to dogs growling is premium quality and will have you in awe! You can also go to the website and use steelseries equalizer app to adjust to your particular taste.

I had turtle beach and returned for these. I would give this 5 stars if it has noise cancel headphones for $150 it should. The audio sounds fine, and the noise cancel microphone seems to work as no one has said anything about my brother shouting in the background. These are true over the ear unlike a lot of competitors cough cough turtle beach. I do not like the volume up scroll wheel as I find I tend to rub it as I put the headphones on and then have to readjust. I can live with that I guess.

Very happy with these headphones, I’ve owned turtle beaches tritons (hope I spelled that right) and various other headsets in the price range and these are great I used them for my PS4 and now PS5, very comfortable for long sessions (3+ hours) and got great even with my glasses no pressure on my temples or head at all. The charge lasts a very long time and charges up fairly quick the only complaint I can even think of is I wish they were usb c to charge other than that 10/10

I bought the Arctis 7P to use with the PlayStation 5 I plan to get for Christmas, but I’ve been using it on my PS4 the last week and it’s awesome! I’ve also used it on my Switch and my Galaxy phone (Note 20) and it’s very cool simply plugging the dongle into the USB port on each of those platforms and it just works. Sounds great, super comfortable and the mic works very well.

Comparison with Stealth 700 Gen 2... It's close

Comparing this headset to my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 2. This are lighter and probably slightly more comfortable. The audio quality is close, but I'd say the turtle beach set is better. The ear cups get less hot with these. The battery life seems to be noticeably better on the turtle beach set. The wireless connectivity and latency seems to be great on both sets, and I've had minor connection issues with both that require me to cycle the power. Between the 2, I prefer the Stealth 700s, but I could easily reccomend either set.

Tried a pair of these at a friends house after I had purchased another pair of headphones(different brand) I returned the others and got these. These are comfortable easy to use and sound great, also the feature of it projecting your voice into the headphones is super nice so you are not yelling while chatting with friends. All these features and sound quality I would def recommend these to anyone looking for a good gaming headset.
