Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Arctis GameBuds offer good sound quality, comfortable fit, and satisfactory battery life. The inclusion of a USB-C dongle slot and effective active noise cancellation are appreciated features. Some find the bass response could be improved. The availability of numerous EQ presets and low latency 2.4Ghz wireless support are also positives.

How did this even get released?

[Employee of bestbuy] Barely functions and loses connections all the time across multiple devices tested. Plug it behind your PC? Is there a desk in the way? Connection problems. Trying to use it on your phone? Randomly disconnects from your phone even if it's just in your pocket on bluetooth mode. The connectivity is so bad, that whenever it disconnects from my PC for example, I have to physically go behind my PC so there's a "clear" signal from the airbuds to the receiver dongle.

I've had them for a little over a month now and the left earbud stopped working. Besides that these are good. I've done a reset and checked the connection.

The quality of these headphones are great, but it’s unnecessarily complicated to connect. After several forum reads, video tutorials, etc. I wasn’t able to connect them. I bought a new another one to see if it was a product defect, but same problem unfortunately. I was attempting to connect to PC

Disappointed by the performance and usability. Operation controls are not intuitive. I like and use SteelSeries Arctis over the ear headphones, and was hoping the GameBuds would be just as good, but unfortunately I will not be using these for gaming as I had intended.

First these r completely garbage u couldnt hear single footstep in any game bc volume is so low but if u use sonar u cannot use any of the presets bc it will cause a werid loud poping noise and wild audio distrition as these headphones cannot handle louder volume then how then come out of box bought then yesterday messed with all kinds of setting to make then louder for about 4 hours then just completely gave up bc u can get louder but without having massive audio issues then return them the following day just buy inzone buds then come out the box ready to go no screwing with setting put to 100 they loud as most overear r

Excellent pair of air buds. Easy to setup and connect. Needed a pair for ps5 and the Sony version didn’t have the best reviews. This are more bang for the buck!

Don't be fooled by the hype: these are terribly annoying and disrespectful of your rights over your own body. You can't disable the auto-power off, and that is NOT OK FOR EARBUDS. It's not ok at all to ignore user settings and considering the Nova 7's have the same problem, and have for <3 years... Don't count on Steelseries fixing it. Steelseries is using the same annoying power settings for these earbuds that they do for the headsets: they shut off after 10 minutes of silence by default, and they reset to that default every time you turn them on. You must launch the Steelseries GG app, and open the settings EVERY TIME YOU TURN THEM ON. I'm seriously considering calling them defective. They will turn off while you are dictating. Also, you cannot disable or even remap the button controls. Holding them down for 2 seconds turns them off, and yes, it does wake you up in the process. Forget about sleeping with them -- which they _should_ work great for.... but the buttons ruin that. The lack of control over the controls, intentional ignorance of user power settings, and history of ignoring user feedback make these a HARD PASS, unless Steelseries starts spending more on developers, and less on shills. Sony Inzone Buds are better. JBL Quantum TWS (from 2022) are WAY better. Heck, even my TOZO NC9's -- which are budget and bluetooth, are more convenient in game mode.

Product worked great for the first month. Then earbuds started to fall apart and malfunction. For $180 new it was not worth the price. Was looking for a long term audio device for gaming and ended up with an expensive short lived experience.

Honestly a waste of money. The software has infinite glitches, non stop disconnections, and when it finally works the audio is terrible. literally 0 stars if possible.
