Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Arctis GameBuds' sound quality, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life. The earbuds are also appreciated for their portability. However, some users have reported connectivity issues and have found the active noise cancellation to be subpar. Additionally, a few users have noted that the bass could be improved and the volume may be low during online use.

These earbuds work great. They switch back and forth form calls to game. Very convenient. Would recommend.

They're pretty good earbuds. Just don't like that there is no button where you can mess with game chat volume & party volume, like headsets.

The sound quality is mediocre, and the firmware has been buggy for me, producing noises when ANC is activated, which makes the feature unusable. Otherwise, it’s an interesting concept and a decent starting point for such products, but it’s not fully polished yet.

I think the product is good. The quality of sound by default is not the best when playing video games, but overall, I recommend it.

These are not ready for mainstream. Serious lack on SteelSeries part to make these usable. Cons: - When used in Bluetooth mode, they are a choppy static mess, which you can't make out anything going on. - Getting these to actually work in Wireless mode. - After you get them working in wireless mode, then turn them off, then back on, all wireless mode settings are gone. - The separate earbuds do not sync. Sometimes just one will start playing. - The "Sonar" software from SteelSeries GG, is very buggy, it attempts to make virtual audio devices to separate out the different streams. Which can be great, if/when it works. Pros: If you can ever get them to work right in wireless mode, they are amazing. However the moment you take them off, good luck getting them back in wireless mode I wanted some ear buds for my PC, but these apparently are not them, I had high hopes as Steelseries generally knows what they are doing with audio devices.

The first pair BB shipped me the right ear didn't work. So i talked to customer service which is great and they returned them for another pair. Needless to say these work and customer service was great and the return process wasn't hard. Thanks to BB

Welp. Hate that I had to give a lower review because when worked, it was great. 1st lasted not a few months before right bud went out. Rma was completed, and then the new one also did the same issues, not even after 2 weeks. Maybe I just got lucky with bad sets, but im serverly disappointed.

Perfect for what we needed. The mic isnt the greatest, but not a deal breaker. It's less obnoxious than the huge gaming headsets and can be used out and about too.

[Employee of bestbuy] If you are looking for gaming ear buds, these are perfect. A lot of features and are not annoying as over the ear headphones for gaming.

I was skeptical about buying this due to the hot and cold reviews. I pulled the trigger and I don’t regret it at all. I bought them as an alternative and they became my primary.

This review is on a SteelSeries - Arctis Gamebuds true wireless noise cancelling gaming earbuds for Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Switch, Mobile and VR. I have been waiting a long time for an earbud solution for Xbox. This is an excellent pair of earbuds. They sound great. Volume is loud and the bass is good. Battery life has been great so far. They fit perfectly inside the curve of my ears as if a mold had been created from my ears. They hold in place and I can sling my head around without them falling out. Setting them up is easy. They come with a USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect to your Xbox. Once the adapter is plugged in, all you have to do is pull them out of the case and they immediately connect. Put them in the case and hold down the buttons on the earbuds for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode and connect them to the Bluetooth device listed. Press a button once and you can swap between Bluetooth and 2.4 wireless. The app on mobile can turn features on\off\up\down or you can do it by the buttons on earbuds. The buttons are easy to push and you can tell when you have pushed them. There are many equalizer settings you can change between in the app on mobile or PC. All of them are tailored to popular games. One of them is for footsteps and yes it does enhance footsteps. Other equalizer settings are for music, movies or your own custom. You can turn ANC on\off or in transparency mode. I do not like ANC mode. They have a horrible overpowered popping sound when in ANC at full volume. You can turn it down to get rid of the sound. There is an update that you need to perform when you get them. It can only be done through the PC and it was a little difficult to find the program due to different titles. Once I installed it and connected the earbuds while in the case to the PC, it only took about 5 minutes to update. I think after the update it helped with ANC a little but the popping sound is still there. Really there is no need for ANC though. The difference between ANC on\off and transparency is barely noticeable other than the popping sound. I would recommend these to anyone looking to get away from those bulky and funny looking headsets while streaming or playing games.
