Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the Arctis GameBuds' sound quality, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life. The earbuds are also appreciated for their portability. However, some users have reported connectivity issues and have found the active noise cancellation to be subpar. Additionally, a few users have noted that the bass could be improved and the volume may be low during online use.

Poor controls, user hostile firmware. Hard Pass
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't be fooled by the hype: these are terribly annoying and disrespectful of your rights over your own body. You can't disable the auto-power off, and that is NOT OK FOR EARBUDS. It's not ok at all to ignore user settings and considering the Nova 7's have the same problem, and have for <3 years... Don't count on Steelseries fixing it. Steelseries is using the same annoying power settings for these earbuds that they do for the headsets: they shut off after 10 minutes of silence by default, and they reset to that default every time you turn them on. You must launch the Steelseries GG app, and open the settings EVERY TIME YOU TURN THEM ON. I'm seriously considering calling them defective. They will turn off while you are dictating. Also, you cannot disable or even remap the button controls. Holding them down for 2 seconds turns them off, and yes, it does wake you up in the process. Forget about sleeping with them -- which they _should_ work great for.... but the buttons ruin that. The lack of control over the controls, intentional ignorance of user power settings, and history of ignoring user feedback make these a HARD PASS, unless Steelseries starts spending more on developers, and less on shills. Sony Inzone Buds are better. JBL Quantum TWS (from 2022) are WAY better. Heck, even my TOZO NC9's -- which are budget and bluetooth, are more convenient in game mode.

Unable to connect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Earbuds are supposed to be xbox certified and should be easily connected like headphones, they were not recognized by the console and I was unable to make a connection.

Not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product worked great for the first month. Then earbuds started to fall apart and malfunction. For $180 new it was not worth the price. Was looking for a long term audio device for gaming and ended up with an expensive short lived experience.

Terrible headphones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly a waste of money. The software has infinite glitches, non stop disconnections, and when it finally works the audio is terrible. literally 0 stars if possible.

Ear buds were Meh
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be honest, for someone who games more than the casual gamer. The ear buds are just convenient if you don’t want to wear over the head headphones. Sound quality is a little under “decent” quality. It does not do well cancelling outside noise, friends and other gamers constantly talk about how terrible the mic quality is. I bought these and gave them a week trial and just could not lock in while playing COD. Wouldn’t recommend for a “sweaty” try hard but would suggest for a casual gamer and or sports games or any other game that doesn’t require you to LOCK IN AND SWEAT like you’re in a sauna.

Meh wireless gaming earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kinda confusing to use. Randomly will switch to Bluetooth instead of 2.4ghz connection some times and not much information online to help either with troubleshooting.

Not good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not work the money. The software doesn’t work. The sound is flat. I couldn’t hear foot steps while play R6 siege. The software lets you adjust the volume and bass… well that doesn’t work and when put on weird numbers the headphones were making a crackling noise. I got better sound quality from my AirPods. All the good reviews are blowing my mind after my experience. Save your money.
