If you do not have the Steel series GG software up and running for this headset it picks up everything in the background making game chat impossible without everyone complaining about hearing every pin drop, footstep, sip of drink, literally every background noise seems to take priority on this headset. Some games like COD have built in mic monitoring you can use to alleviate this but this should not even be an issue at this price. Love the headset but the features are useless without a PC running the software
