This is one of the few headsets that works with every platform and can simultaneously connect with phone while connected to PC or.console. Very comfortable with a neutral and well rounded sound that can be tweaked with the software on PC. Happy with the battery life. Works flawlessly with PC and Xbox. Works well with phone but I have to manually select. Microphone is clear. The surround works well in games but perhaps not quite as well as Dolby atmos for headphones which you can purchase separately for a few dollars.

Allow me to start by saying that out of the four or so headsets I tested, this one by far had the BEST sound quality for the sub-200 dollar price range. My only dislike about it is that it feels like it could break easily within a year of moderate use. Another dislike was that it felt kind of loose on my head. I don't think of myself as having a small (nor large) head, but even on the tightest setting it just barely fit almost snug. I feel like it could have been made to accommodate a head slightly smaller than mine and that would have made it fit much better. I guess it's safe to assume this headset is not meant to be used by children or young adults. I myself am in my mid 30's and have normal proportions. So I guess this is built for people with large heads, big hats or lots of hair lol. Great job on the sound quality, and the connectivity. Make the earcups a bit deeper (I tried Wicked Cushions which helped a little bit) and make the adjustments smaller by maybe 20% and it would be perfect. I may try the Nova Pro Wireless in the future if they go on a significant enough sale to make it enticing enough to shell out a couple hundred for a $350 headset. On sale though, the Nova 7X is a great headset, if you care about having the best HiFi Spatial audio experience.

The Steelseries - Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Gaming Headset is a win. Battery life is great and a plus is its has dual audio. Very Comfortable for long gaming sessions. I highly Recommend.

Would not purchase a different headset with in this budget. Can connect to all platforms without issues and switch back easily. The microphone works great and I can be heard just fine. It is comfortable and can be used for plenty of hours of gameplay.

Amazing sound and comfort not tight at all and perfect weight

Headset is very comfortable, and simple to use. Sound quality is great, and I've had no complaints from friends over my mic quality. The ability to use it on Xbox, Playstation, and PC is a huge bonus. My only complaints are the lack of a playback feature, and the mixer options. 1. My old Turtle Beach Stealth 600's would play my own voice, or the noises in the room around me back through the headset in live time. I could hear myself perfectly, as if I were having a conversation with a person in the room with me. Without that feature, I find myself speaking at a much higher volume because I can't hear the sound of my own voice very well. It's minor, and only required a short adjustment period, but it's a feature I miss very much. 2. The sound mix is 2 dials. One for volume, and one for chat/game. Like a slider. It's sometimes difficult to find that perfect level without independent control over each sound source. Also only a minor issue, but still annoying to deal with sometimes.

I needed a headset that I could use for my PC and Xbox since I frequently switch between the two to play games. I use the dongle for my Xbox and then bluetooth for my PC. I wish Xbox had the app like PC does for them but oh well. Sound quality is great. I have also had hardly any issues with the bluetooth mode, other than the connectivity range is somewhat short. Battery life is fantastic. My only complaint is my ear cups are already yellowing after 3 months, but I figure they shouldn’t be too difficult to clean.

Extremely comfortable headset. Adjustable and breathable so you’re not sweating if you game for hours. Great battery life - long lasting. I charge it maybe twice a month while gaming a few hours a day. Was on the fence about purchasing but I love this headset! The sound quality of this headset is amazing, especially on games where you need to be able to hear footsteps creeping on you and works well on multiple platforms at a time aka, your game AND discord at the same time. 10/10 recommend!

Lightweight headset that’s easy to use, love that the mic is good quality and doesn’t break easy

Great head phones, while not noise canceling like say bose, the atmos setup for gaming and movies is great. Works perfectly in games where i can tell when a bad guy is trying to flank me or sneak up on me. And made movies i watched on the plane really immersive. Comfortable to wear on my ears for hours and pretty light weight feeling. Love that i can still plug in with traditional plug into my MP3 player but also connect via Bluetooth or through the wifi dongle when the device doesnt have bluetooth that is provided.

Had an old headset that finally cracked and had to pick up a new one. This headset is unbelievably diverse. I can adjust game volume and chat volume using the different volume wheels on the headset. I can connect my phone via Bluetooth while being connected to game audio so I can listen to music or podcasts while gaming. All the audio can easily be adjusted so you can find the perfect balance of audio levels. The headset feels light on the head and is very comfortable during long gaming sessions. The microphone can be tucked into the headset so it’s out the way if necessary but there’s also a mute button. The headset is incredibly versatile and can suite me in any situation.

Great headset! Love that it’s wireless, light, has a retractable microphone, and is compatible with all my devices. Battery life is great. I’ve never had it die on me and I plug it in after every few times I use it just to top it off. It can connect to your phone or other devices using Bluetooth at the same time as it’s connected to whatever has the dongle plugged in. I haven’t used or seen any other headsets like this before. My only negative about the headset is that the noise cancelling isn’t the greatest. Doesn’t block out as much as my old headset but that isn’t a problem for me so I give this headset a 5/5

Amazing headphones. Work seamlessly with my Xbox Series S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Galaxy S23, and even with two systems at a time using the dongle to hear game audio while Bluetooth connected to my phone for discord. Holds a charge for a long time, very comfortable even with my glasses on, and has great features to balance the audio from games, chat, and my microphone. Honestly like these so much probably wish I had to just gone straight forth 9x, but am thoroughly satisfied with this headset and would recommend them to anyone looking for a superb headset and willing to spend under $200

Amazing set of headphones for the price. I have no clue what genuinely good headphones 300$ plus are supposed to sound like put If I can pay 150$ and get something this good, then the PC gaming community is thriving rn. The best part of these headphones is the vast software from steel series. It is just awesome to me that theres so much you can do on it to customize your headset. The battery is pretty solid for the price too, I wouldnt even say the pros are worth it at this point just because of the cloth more comfortable ear pads on this one as well as the price comparison for what you get. The best part of these headphones is the dual bluetooth connectivity. I can leave my house and use my phone to listen to music because you can have the connection from the usb dongle from the pc and your phones bluetooth work at the same time dual-ly. Overall the build and quality is okay. The downsides: So personally I have a larger head and although it is not terribly uncomfortable the ski band for your head is not the greatest for me for a few reasons, one being that it just feels kinda odd on your head, you get used to it. a BIG issue for me is that, it seems like SteelSeries is promoting this headset as a lifestyle pair of headphones that are more discreet and can be taken anywhere. The problem is that it is way too easy for me to get these to slip off my head, if I look down too fast they will even slip off. They will not stay on my head if I am making jerking fast movements and bending down. If you go out the house with these the highest form of activity I recommend with these is walking. Other then that the headset gets a little hot on my head and ears after a couple hours of gaming. Oh also, the area where the ear cups swivel are creaking when I stretch them over my head. So that could be bad or it could be fine in the future. Otherwise the sound stages are great and the bass is mixed well with tremble and nothing is too punchy, great job SteelSeries!

The sound on this model sound amazing. I would highly recommend anybody to get these battery. Last long sound is clear and let’s not forget how comfortable they are.
