Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Gaming Headset's sound quality, comfort, and battery life, with many praising its lightweight design and compatibility with multiple devices. However, some customers expressed concerns about the headset's price point and noted that the bass could be improved, while others mentioned occasional connection issues. The fit was generally well-received, though some found the maximum volume insufficient. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the negative comments regarding price and minor technical issues.

Honestly, they were good headphones but I did have to find another set after these randomly wouldn't turn on.

I read the high-praise reviews and gave them a try. I was underwhelmed with the sound quality, which is flat and low. I struggle to see what the appeal is.

Not easy to adjust internal settings. May be returning these. Customer service discussions are done through email and take extra time to understand the issues and provide possible solutions.

If these were $80 I would say they are a great value BUT they are twice that much so I am a bit disappointed. I've had over ear head phones that were $120 and they sounded so much better and fit more comfortable than these. Idk what is so different between a regular Bluetooth headset and a gaming headset that the gaming sets seem to be twice or more expensive for comparable quality. My point is for the listed price of almost $200 these are not worth the money to me.

Literally the worst headset I have ever owned audio is trash, settings are trash. And currently I have no audio on mic and it won’t even shut off. Tie some string to a can and you’ll be better off that with this absolute waste of money and time.

It fits well for a size 7 head and sounds awesome. Just what I expected since my last gaming headset was an old Turtle Beach set.

    Terrible Wireless Range/Dongle

I game on PC and PS4/5 and was looking to upgrade from an Arctis 7(2017), which still works great. I was looking at the Nova Pro Wireless, not really in my budget, when I saw that the Nova 7 just came out. Since I have had such a good experience with the Arctis 7, I decided to give these a try. The headset I received was terrible. The audio constantly cuts out and gets distorted. This happens when I'm only like 3 feet from the wireless dongle, sitting at my PC. When I get about 10 feet or more away the audio cuts out completely and the headset would disconnect from the dongle. This is after updating to the latest firmware and trying to reposition the dongle, just in case it was getting interference from some other devices. No luck, this is totally unacceptable in a $179 headset. Thinking this might be a defect in the specific headset I received I returned them and got the Arctis Nova 7x, prefer the game/chat wheel over the side tone. Same exact issue with that headset. I don't know how this headset gets such good reviews. I have never had an issue with my Arctis 7(2017) headset. I can walk into another room of my house and still get crystal clear audio. So SteelSeries definitely messed something up with the design of the wireless dongle.

I've had it less than a month, and the microphone went out, suddenly and permanently. I was in the middle of using it, there was a click, and it went out. No physical damage, and even after testing with multiple devices and updating the firmware, the microphone is dead. It was a great headset for about 3 weeks, just maybe a little quiet.
