This is a very pricy gaming headset and is definitely not for everyone. However I think if you do your research and you intentionally will use the multi-system capabilities, the ANC, bluetooth, etc... This product is fantastic. The ANC is much improved over the previous nova pro wireless, the comfort is better, and the hot-swap batteries are still a killer feature. The mic should be better for the price, but I honestly think with EQ it's quite good. If you're doing podcasting or audio work you should probably be buying a separate dedicated mic anyways. Overall, this headset is the ultimate all-in-one package, just do your research first.

Excellent Sound profile, super customization, endless power with the battery system, ANC, super comfort with plush earpads. The only issue is the higher-than-average price, but it's worth it

I had a lot of headphones over the years always one for xbox and one for the ps5 turtlebeach, older Steelseries and for the last year audeze Maxwell but the nova elite barely beats the Maxwell in weight it’s much lighter and equalizer convenience they have hundreds of presets that work right of my iPhone and plugging both systems to one control hub is just fantastic and last but not least the sound is flat out incredible the price is steep but worth it check all the boxes build, comfort, convenience, versatility and most important amazing sound!

These are super premium. Excellent cushions sometimes have fun can be too tired of my head, but I think the cushion on the ear pads offset that. One of the main drawers was so that I could listen to two things at once the screen gives easy control where I can adjust between my computer and my gaming system. Excellent product!

The noise cancellation is great its better from the last nova headset as it truly isolated sound of your gaming from the outside world but not fully as i can still hear my dogs barking loud from a different part of the house but only if theres no sound being played of a game or no video playing. Its truly great i love them and the battery life on them is so much better as will that it would last me around 2 1/2 days of gaming varys on gamers on how long they play games .

A great upgrade from the artic nova pro wireless. I love the sage color and the overall physical quality. Softest cuffs with good coverage. The sound quality is better, but im in love with the app. Convient for quick tuning. A great purchase for the price.

Ok the the #1 reason you buy these is for the sound. This is one of the few gaming headsets that truly start to compete with audiophile gear while offering a decent microphone. I say decent because it is still lacking. Voice quality is by far the best out of the steelseries headsets however the microphone really struggles with gain still. Its just too quiet. Everyone will comment that they have to “turn you up” if you switch from another brand or setup. Its ver apparent if you fire up a db meter and switch between the steelseries mic and other wireless boom mic options. For instance the HyperX Cloud III wireless has a louder mic but the quality is bery compressed sounding compared to the steelseries. The build quality feels great ok the headset, however for $600 i was disappointed that the wirless dac / receiver felt cheaper to the touch than the one with the Arctis Nova Pro’s. It would have been nice to see metal used on the receiver as well at this price point. The next big highlight, and a big reason this series is so popular, is the swappable battery. Works just as good as prior generations/iterations and is fantastic. I wish more brands would adopt this method for powering their wireless headsets. Would I recommend this headset? It checks a lot of boxes and sounds pretty fantastic with a flat eq out if the box. But boy is it pricey. You can get a great wired setup with a better microphone if you want to get more complex with your setup. But if you just want to plug and play and have the freedom of wireless, bluetooth, multiplatform support etc then these are probably among the best you can find - you just really have to pay to play.

    SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite Headphones

These are, hands down, the finest headphones I have ever used. The only caveat so far is the high price. I am using them for XBOX Series X gaming and AppleTV movies and music. The sound is superb; bright, clear, agreeable base and sharply defined speech. They remain comfortable after hours of uninterrupted use. The build quality, to my eye, is excellent and setup with both Xbox and Apple TV was a non event. So far though, the GG software has not recognized these headphones, a problem that may relate to the newest MacBook OP. I recommend the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite headphones to others, price notwithstanding.

Bought the Arctis Nova Pros years ago and loved them so much that when it was time, I decided to go for these. They sound amazing, are super comfortable compared to the already comfortable pro's, and the build quality is amazing. I highly recommend the Sage Gold color too.

Since switching from the Pro to the Elite, I’ve really appreciated how the Elite feels like a “next-level” version of the same trusted Arctis design. The build quality feels more premium, heavier, yes, but sturdier and more refined. The audio is richer and more detailed the bass hits with more weight, mids and highs feel crisp, and there’s a pleasing warmth and clarity that brings games to life more vividly. Comfort remains very high thanks to the familiar “ski-goggle” suspension headband and soft earcups, so even long sessions stay easy on the head. In short: if you loved the Pro for its comfort and solid performance, the Elite is like getting those strengths amplified — better fidelity, more premium feel, and a noticeable step up in immersion.

Arctis Elite is by far the most superior headset on the market. I have tried all the major headsets. This blows all out of the water. I believe the only downside is comfort. I feel the ear pieces press too hard on the head, making it slightly uncomfortable. This may have been user error, but either way mild discomfort is a small price to pay for the best Audio, a mic quality, and reliability of any competitors. My favorite headset was Astro A50X until now. The Arctis Elite blows it out of the water with everything but comfort.

Here's the deal - this headset is not for everyone. You want something that will let you play games and hear your friends on Discord but don't have 3 consoles? See the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Have 3 consoles? This is your headset. The build on this headset is metal hinge and headband, which I believe is new from the NPW. Otherwise you'll have the same clear audio, form factor, and experience common to the Artcis Nova headsets. One new thing? You can have the OLED screen turn off after a few minutes (configure in GG). That's about it - you got $600 for a headset? You probably have 3 inputs to use with it. Otherwise, the $300-400 NPW is best.
