Initially, I was pretty excited to use this headset. Coming from an Astro A40, this Arctis Nova Pro seemed to be on par with the A40's and, maybe, I might have to switch up headphones when gaming. However, after using these headphones for a couple days, I got a nasty rash on both ears. So, pretty good headset but I can't even use them without getting a rash. As far as performance, these offer a really great sound to them. The big selling point here is the software which you can utilize a bunch of game specific presets which I thought was pretty cool. I am playing Destiny 2 so i figured I try those presets out. At first, it didn't even sound that great when the game booted up. However, once it came time for action, the sound really kicked in. The highs/mids were spot on and the bass, while not as thumpy as I would've liked, did kick in and provide some good low end sound. The control knob is quite useful as well. Aside from changing volume, you can use it to update settings on the headset which is helpful. Overall, a very nice headset that offers great range of sound. My biggest issue with these was that, after using them for a couple days, I developed a major rash on both ears. It got to the point where both ears were swollen and I had a red ring rash on both sides of my head. I've used numerous other brand headsets like Astro, TurtleBeach, Logitech, etc., and I NEVER had this problem with any of those headsets. It's been about a week now and the rash has subsided but, man, I never expected this to happen from wearing a headset. Really a bummer since I wanted to give this headset a little more playtime. Now, though, I can't as I don't want to risk getting another rash from these. I'm not sure if there was something coating the earpads or if there was some chemical used in the tanning process for the earpads or what, but I could never figure out what the issue was with this headset. I contacted SteelSeries support however I got NO response from them on this issue. YMMV may vary with these, and I hope it does, but for me, this was a huge pain (literally) when using this headset.

The headset seemed like a great headset fit comfortably. My issue was that it never said i needed a pc to get it to work at all so i was introuble there because you need to have a newer version of windows.

I figured out that you need to turn the dial on the headset to max then use the dac.

    Most uncomfortable headset ever

I have a couple reasons why I think this pair of headphones is not worth the money what so ever. First of all, there is a nob inside of the headphones that stabs against my ear whenever Im wearing it. It is the most uncomfortable thing ever. Also, the battery back was put in backwards into the base station, and now its stuck there and unable to be taken out. The audio quality isnt anything special, the noise cancelation is weak, and not work anything over $100
