Last wireless head set you’ll need for Xbox. Comfortable and light. Custom eq settings are great! Sound is amazing and noise cancellation is the best when you have noise in the back ground. Are you trying to hear footsteps coming from in-game? Noise cancellation is just a press of a button on the side of the headset. It can also connect to your phone at the same time if you wanna listen to music or scroll through social media.

Great headset in need of better firmware

Great sound, comfortable and well featured, however it's firmware is the weak point. Updated firmware leaves the Dac on, even when the Xbox is turned off and is being touted as a "feature" by SteelSeries. The screen on the Dac is an oled, so leaving it on all the time will cause burn-in and shorten its lifespan. Also using the equalizer on the Dac in any setting other than flat cause the headset to pop and whine everytime a sound is transmitted from the console. This issue can be worked around by using the equalizer in the Dolby Access app on Xbox. Hopefully SteelSeries will address these issues soon but they have known in the community for months now and not addressed. Will update my review to a recommendation if they can iron out these issues.

Very good sound, very comfortable battery life is excellent due to the two swapable batteries. Quality feel premium and very good. Which they have included a dongle so that you can connect them to a different device (not though Bluetooth) without having to move and connect the hub. Like for example I have them connected to my PC but wish I could just plug a usb dongle to the PS and use them without having to move the and connect the hub to the PS5. Also a bit pricy if bought at retail but well worth it especially if you get a deal or a discount.

Love these! And they have so many more uses than just being your gaming headset. They’re easy to connect to. The battery life is great and you get two batteries with it so you never have to worry about dead headphones. The mix amp is really use to use and great for quick adjustments while in game. They do make your ear sweat a little but nothing that’s really gonna ruin your day. Sound is the best I’ve heard. I migrated to these from Astro A50s and I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Great sound and love the fact that I can change the battery in just seconds. Really easy to switch from pc to xbox which is the main reason. Only flaw for me is that its on ear instead of over ear which hurts after extended use.

By far the best out there! I love how I feel like I’m in the game with these on. I hear everything!! The battery life is amazing and what makes it better is that it has a swappable battery. Legit can go almost 2 days of gaming before I’m out but even then the other battery is already charged so you have a limitless headset.

Let’s get this out of the way: I wanted to love this headset. I wanted to feel like a tech god while seamlessly switching between slaying on Xbox and pretending to answer work calls on my Mac. Instead, I got a plastic tiara disguised as premium tech. Sound & Mic • Sound? Meh. Like ordering a filet mignon and getting a microwaved meatloaf. • Mic? Imagine yelling through a soup can tied to a string. At $350, I expected James Earl Jones, not static and sadness. • ANC? It’s there in spirit, but I think it’s just holding my hand while noise continues to destroy my soul. • Transparency mode? Strangely decent, like that one coworker who actually responds to emails. Comfort • The ear pads are tighter than my jeans after Thanksgiving. I have a small head and still felt like my ears were being punished for something. • Aftermarket pads supposedly fix it, but I haven’t gotten that far in my emotional healing process. • Also: they’re heavy. If they fall off your head (which they will), pray you don't have hardwood floors, cause they gonna break. Features • Bluetooth + 2.4GHz at once? YES. This is the one thing that made me feel like I was living in the future. • Switching between Xbox and Mac is buttery smooth. Unlike literally everything else. • Retractable mic is cute, but I’d rather have good audio than a magic disappearing act. Software (aka The Villain of This Story) • You have to install their software to update the headset. • Except… surprise! On Mac, it doesn’t work. At all. Ever. It recognizes my headset about as often as my dog recognizes my authority. • The Sonar app — the main reason I bought this — isn’t even included in the Mac version. It’s like buying a car and learning the steering wheel is extra. Final Verdict • Would I buy this again for $350? No. I’d rather invest in socks — at least they don’t gaslight me. • At under $200? Eh. If you’re an Xbox user who doesn’t mind bad software and a mid mic, it’s… okay. Cool idea. Mediocre execution. Amazing at pretending to be worth $350. Mac users — run. Everyone else — only buy if it’s on sale and you’re emotionally prepared.

I normally do not use wireless headphones, as recharging them is a pain when they die mid game. I love being able to easily swap the charging batteries out on the fly. Sound is great, and noise cancelling works well. Pressure is evenly dispersed between headband and ear cups. I have them on all day for work and game woth them all night. Pretty pricey, but you get what you paid for. The range on them is also amazing. I can walk across my house and back and not lose signal.

I am a bit disappointed in these given the price, but they work well and are good quality. The headset is a bit tighter and less comfortable than the Arctis 7 i had before (I have a large head) and the ear pads are made of a stiffer and less comfortable material than the Arctis 7. I tried some Wicked Cushions ear pads I got from Amazon, and they are a bit better but the headphones are still less comfortable than the Arctis 7. Also, one of the ear pads is constantly coming loose and has to be clicked back in, and clicking them in is a big hassle. The sound quality is good but I personally don't detect any improvement over the Arctis 7, with either games or movies/shows. I was excited by the fact these have two inputs for audio sources, hoping i could easily swap between my xbox and ps5, for example, but this feature is a big let down. You can't easily switch between the 2 audio sources: there is no way to do this using the headset itself, and the receiver doesnt have a dedicated button to switch sources: you have to go into receiver's menu, select switch sources, select the new source, and then confirm the new source, and the last part is buggy so almost half the time it doesnt "take" the new sourced. Overall it would be much easier to just unplug one source and plug it in a new source, but doing that is complicated by the fact that one input is dedicated for an xbox and the other is for other items. One nice feature of this device that may not be obvious from the description is that you can plug in any audio source with a 3.5 line into the input and then have the headphones transmit that. So for example, you can plug a 3.5 from your TV into the receiver, and plug the USB into a power source, and then the headphones will output the TV audio. This feature works great. (The arctis 7 could also do this, btw.) The "would you recommend this item" question is hard in this case. I clicked yes because the product does work well, but it is disappointing in a lot of ways given the price so it is a hesitant thumbs up from me.

Using for an Xbox Series X and a gaming laptop. They work seamlessly with the Xbox using the hub controller. I utilize the Bluetooth connection with the laptop and no issues either. I also use them for noise canceling headphones to listen to music and they get the job done, not as good as my Bose QC2s but I’d rather not travel with two sets of headphones. Good styling, no obnoxious colors, designs or lights.

Best gaming headset I’ve had. Noise cancellation works really well. The volume/battery charging hub is great, you just swap batteries around when it’s time. No sitting and waiting for a headset to charge.

Best headphones for compatibility and feature set. I can get an audio feed from any device I can route into a 3.5mm jack and have that simultaneous with bluetooth audio from my iPhone. Works great for casual xbox with a youtube video on my phone. Mic stopped working in wired mode quite early on, and drivers don't meet the quality bar of the price. There are some great EQ settings for all popular games that make this a lot less noticeable.

Price is very steep for what you get. Sound quality of games is good, mic quality is not. You will sound very nasally to others. Was very to setup and being wireless is great. Having a extra battery charging in the dock is wonderful and is just a swap away. The main reason i cant recommend these is that there are 2 pea sized protrusions in the earcups for the ANC that constantly rubbed against my ears no matter what i did.

Best headset I’ve tried to date the ability to hotswap batteries is amazing for long gaming sessions and the Bluetooth signal is very strong over distance. Not to mention it’s very comfortable and has amazing sound quality. The only downside is it’s noise canceling mic struggles with my fan more than some of my other headsets

Probably one of the best wireless headsets I have used in awhile so good that I bought 2 of them lol one for my consoles and one for my gaming pc The pc app can be a little wonky at times but other then that i love it also like having a extra fully charged battery at the ready at all times. I did have to change the ear pads with a set of wicked cushions so I did not have to feel the little nub in the left ear cup other then that great headset I have not had a single issues with it.
