NOT WORTH THE MONEY
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time I'm writing this review the headset retails before tax at 350$ so close to 380$ after tax. I've owned this headset for about a month and a half. I CANNOT say this headset is worth the money. *****I use this headset on Xbox and PC****** My biggest complaint is the power button on the headset does multiple things: 1. Turns the ANC OFF and ON (single click) 2. Turns the transparent mode ON and OFF (double click) And 3. Then turns the power off and on. (hold button) The cool LED display they have does not show you if you ANC IS TURNED OFF OR ON you just have to know. Same goes for transparent mode LED display does NOT tell you if its turned on but that honestly is very obvious when turned on. This button you use isn't the most responsive to be honest it feels cheap it sometimes takes me multiple tries to turn the ANC back on after I noticed I turned it off. I think I accidently turn the ANC OFF when trying to power down the headset. This headset needs a dedicated power button or switch. Alright now for the other not great things this headset does but cost 350$. There is a microphone in both ear pieces that can touch your ear. I don't have big ears by any means but I find myself having to have the headset just right or my ear will ever so slightly be touching which is a small thing but this headset cost 350$ so I'm gonna pick. Another dumb thing is that you can put these batteries in the charger backwards. I did it when I first got the headset and it got stuck in the charger. I had to do some serious finessing to get it out which cause some scratching to happen around the charger. My mistake ill take the blame but it was very easy to slide into the wrong spot and get stuck. That's my only point there. I feel like I'm missing some stuff but that's about all the problems I see in this headset. It does do a lot of things right and the sound quality is good. I just feel like the price is too much.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best gaming headset I've owned so far even better than my steelseries 9 and 7x. Only downside is the leather earcups, i understand they're for sound isolation but the cloth ones are more comfortable.

Just what I was looking for
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best gaming headphones I’ve ever had, use with steel series sonar gg software and you can really tune these is in, the noise cancellation is a plus and the base station allows two platforms to be plugged in and can be swapped either on the station or use the headphones to control it, but the factory ear pads are too thin and after just a hour of use the drivers from the noise cancellation start digging into your ear, order a set of aftermarket pads and after that they are super comfy even after hours of use, the battery life is pretty long and the base holds a backup battery in it ready to go and swap when needed, 10/10 would buy again

Best for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had astro 50 before but these are way better, love that a battery stays charging the whole time, had issues with the astro charging at times, the sound is way better and so is the noise cancelling

Game soundtrack
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Active noise cancellation delivers incredible audio quality, blocking out ambient noise for immersive gaming sessions. - Premium hi-fi sound provides clear, crisp quality across all frequencies. - The retractable mic is convenient and easy to hide when not in use. - Wireless connectivity allows for comfortable, unrestricted movement while gaming. Cons: - The headset can feel a bit heavy and uncomfortable after extended periods of use. - While the audio quality is great for gaming, it may not be ideal for music or other media. - The battery life could be longer, as it only lasts around 10 hours on a full charge. - The headset may be a bit pricey for some users.

Mostly incredible, doubt you’d return
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More like 4.5 stars. The headset is an overall solid and complete package, nails every large feature and user need, while missing out on some details with a generally good but mixed build quality. The swappable battery system is incredible. Still $350 is too much for any non professional headset, thankfully it’s on sale for $285 every once in a while. So wait for that, it’ll be one of the best peripherals/accessories you’ve ever bought.

Great but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall - This is a great headset. Unfortunately for me, I had to return it because of 1 reason and that's the ANC. It's not that good and for now it's something I need on my headset. I do still give this a high score though because the sound is good and the being able to save the EQ is perfect for consoles. I do recommend this to anyone unless they specifically seek great ANC. My Turtle Beach Steal 700 Gen 3 blocks out more surrounding sound and that doesn't even have ANC. The bass is good but not too heavy. If you seek base, then I would look into the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro If you mainly game FPS's then this is going to be perfect for you.

Best headset I have owned after 10 years.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been overall very impressed with this headset. I did have to buy 3rd party ear cups since the ones that are included are not deep enough for me and were a bit uncomfortable after long sessions. Other than that I have no complaints. The sound is great and the the GG software that is included is top-notch. The fact that it also comes with 2 batteries and you can charge one in the dock is also a game changer. Never again will you have to plug in your headset, just swap the batteries! Very happy with my purchase!

First high end headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic depth of sound. Hot swap battery is awesome. Mic sliding into the headset keeps it protected and even the Bluetooth to a phone sounds great. Comfortable for all day gaming

Great gaming headphones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound. Able to connect between The Xbox/PS4 and or my phone seamlessly. I can play on my PS5 while listening to Spotify music while also listening to Audible. Just wish i could change the volume between chat and game on the physical headset itself rather than having to get up, walk over to the little device thats plugged into my consoles to do so. Otherwise its a fantastic purchase.

Worth the price for comfort and sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most comfortable headphones ive ever owned. Had thr arctis 9’s before these, after those went out after 4 years, i got these. A bit pricey, but worth the price. Can wear them for hours without discomfort even with glasses. The sound is very clear. The only thing i dont like is when its about to die, it will beep in your ear every 10 seconds or so. Other than that, worth the price.

Best headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best headset out there. Having to adjust your specs to a specific game is such an advantage. The headband also feels so good when wearing doesn’t hurt like my previous ones

High price but well worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will admit the headset is on the pricey side of the market but you honestly get what you pay for. This headset is by far the most technically advanced headset I’ve played with. From the amazing battery life, to great sound, and the insane of amount of utility it is in my opinion the best headset available for the Xbox market. The only issue I have is sometimes the noise cancellation piece in the ear piece sometimes rubs against my ear, but that’s a fitment issue not a hardware issue.

Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headset sounds great, best headset I’ve owned. love them more then Astro a50/Sony/turtle beach that I’ve owned in the past. the noise cancel is why I bought these. Only cons are price, and my ears did touch some. Upgraded to wc earpads, this helped a lot. If you buy the Xbox ones they work on ps5 as well, but not the other way around. Also Sony did a patch on all 3rd party headsets that will not let you adjust chat volume.

Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review This whole setup is amazing. Everyone talks about the sound quality as they should. The most underrated feature though is the second battery and the ability to charge one while playing and swap them out as needed. This allows you to truly be wireless since you don’t have to plug in headset while charging. The headband and ears and also very comfortable on long runs. I never have to adjust like I did with others. Not a streamer. Just a dad who loves gaming and appreciates quality products. Highly recommend.

Great headset in need of better firmware
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound, comfortable and well featured, however it's firmware is the weak point. Updated firmware leaves the Dac on, even when the Xbox is turned off and is being touted as a "feature" by SteelSeries. The screen on the Dac is an oled, so leaving it on all the time will cause burn-in and shorten its lifespan. Also using the equalizer on the Dac in any setting other than flat cause the headset to pop and whine everytime a sound is transmitted from the console. This issue can be worked around by using the equalizer in the Dolby Access app on Xbox. Hopefully SteelSeries will address these issues soon but they have known in the community for months now and not addressed. Will update my review to a recommendation if they can iron out these issues.
