Amazing headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing headphones. Having a backup battery always charged is game changer. These work with Xbox/PS5/ and Pc. In order to use with PS5 plus usb into the pc usb port and the console will activate it.

Best Gaming Headset on the market
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup is great, being able to swap out the battery is even better, but the best part is the sound. I can hear sounds in video games ive never heard before and it gives me an advantage in FPS games.

Poor Microphone
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has very good sound quality and I like that you can connect your phone to it when it is also connected to your console or pc but the microphone quality is beyond poor so for a console player it’s just to much of a hassle

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these for an Xbox user and when we installed them we tried it out and found a metallic hiss sound that was constantly ambient in the headset. Not sure if maybe it could be eq’d out with the fax but didn’t want to deal with it so we returned and went with hyperx

Great at first
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved these headphones when i first purchased them but almost a year into owning them i am not a fan. I have to constantly reset them and even then the sound is breaking up after a few hours of use. The ability to swap between my ps5 and xbox is great but the sound glitching constantly is a major downfall of these

Spend your money elsewhere. Overpriced Junk.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shoddy from the beginning, held my hopes things would get better.. they did not. I have used this headset for 6 months and it is now just an expensive paperweight. This is not a 350 dollar headset, this was equivalent to a 125 dollar headset - until it completely died 6 months in. Beware connection issues. Every single day. It started with random disconnects - you hear a beep and you've lost audio and mic. This usually resolved itself or a quick unplug/replug for the base and you're set. Then it started getting worse. Eventually (now) it seems to connect to the computer, but the audio will not come out of the headset and microphone does not work. I see the outputs, but when selected - nothing. No audio. Both plugged in and wireless. Tried USB3 ports as well as USB2. The rest of the reviews are correct as well, there's a hard plastic component literally right in your ear cavity on the headset - pushing straight onto your ear. The ear-pads are not breathable and your head/ears will start to sweat. You can buy 3rd party ear pads - these are thicker and you won't get stabbed by the inner plastic component. They are also more breathable. Should come with the headsets. After 6 months, the batteries no longer last more than 6 hours. Constant swapping.

Trent’s headset
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a lightweight headset that would work with multiple units. It is a great product I wasn’t sure because we have used wireless Astros but this product worked great it’s a great value.

Good but there’s better options
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel the mic isn’t as good as it could be but it is a headset and not a standalone mic so as long as your exceptions are in the realm of possibility it is a great sounding headset I would recommend getting the 7x instead of spending the extra money for these

Good headset but has issues on PC
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset sounds good but on pc the companion app is terrible. The biggest issue though is it constantly reverses the left and right audio in shooter games which is a huge problem.

Steelseries Activus do or don't?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price I find that the audio qaulity is lacking in audio differentiation, clarity and audio appointment. To clarify: the background noises were hard to detect even at loud volumes. My old headset was immersive and this headset made it hard to discern where footstep were eminating from, while gamming. I have not used the headset for music so I can't give an account of the quality there. However, if this headset doesn't properly appoint sounds while gamming I can't imagine it being any better when being asked to do the same with music. The dongle is what sets this headset / dongle combo above most others in this category. See Youtube for a clarification on this. All in all. Would not buy again.

Honestly not that great- Read on
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this headset for about 3 weeks and the sound is pretty disappointing for xbox series x. The Sonar software only works with pc and does not transfer over to xbox at all. I even did a firmware update for the gen dac 2 and everything I tried under audio settings was not very good and the bass on these nova pro wireless is pretty weak and very underwhelming. The swappable battery packs were decent but annoying to have to swap out in the middle of a game of mw3. These are definitely not worth $350 because they don’t live up to the hype for that price whatsoever. I ended up returning the steelseries arctis nova pro wireless. I picked up the razer blackshark v2x wired headset for $50 and honestly they blow the steelseries out of the water in sound , bass is excellent and the mic quality on the razer blackshark v2x is excellent. I wanted to like the steelseries nova pro wireless but not being able to use all of the features for console is a big no in my book. Please save your money on this overpriced garbage and just give the razer blackshark v2x a try, I personally love them and for the price I bought both the black and white version. Hope this helps someone looking for their next headset for xbox series x/s
