These are ok if you don't own the Audeze Mobius or Penrose Line of wireless headphones. I like the fact that they work with everything but the problem here is they only give the best features when hooked up to a PC. otherwise you are stuck paying for Premium head phones that do not operate premium away from the PC.

Not very comfy, barely as loud as my last 180$ RIG headset, the noise canceling feature gives me headaches, audio has scratching sounds randomly, only thing I like is the dual Bluetooth and Xbox compatibility and the DAC has a few cool features. Also have been having mic issues lately where my voice cuts out/sounds robotic friends cannot hear me. Wish I got the warranty but I expected a 400$ headset to be built better. At least last longer than a couple months

Premium Sound, Top-Tier Comfort, and Serious Funct

I’ve tried a lot of gaming headsets over the years, but the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless stands out as a true powerhouse. SteelSeries delivered a headset that checks nearly every box for competitive and everyday gamers alike. Audio Quality: The sound is clean, rich, and spatially accurate—perfect for FPS games where directionality matters. The 360° spatial audio really helps you pick up subtle in-game details, whether it's footsteps behind you or distant gunfire. You can fine-tune everything through the included DAC and the SteelSeries software. It’s not just loud—it’s immersive. Noise Cancellation: Active Noise Cancellation does a decent job blocking out environmental sounds like fans or distant conversations. It's not as strong as Bose-level ANC, especially for deeper low-end sounds, but it's more than enough for gaming in a shared space. Battery Life and Dual Batteries: The swappable dual battery system is genius. While one charges in the base station, you’re gaming on the other. Battery swaps take seconds, and I’ve never had to stop playing to recharge. It’s the kind of feature you don’t appreciate fully until you use it. Comfort: This headset is built for long sessions. The ski goggle-style headband distributes weight evenly, and the ear cushions are soft and breathable. It is a little bulky, though, and the leatherette ear pads can get warm over time—something to keep in mind if you game in a hot environment. Mic Performance: The retractable mic is clear and serviceable, but it does pick up background noise more than I’d like. It’s great for party chat or casual streaming, but if you're looking for podcast-level quality, you'll still want a standalone mic. Connectivity and Controls: Switching between Xbox, PC, Bluetooth, and other sources is seamless. You can mix audio from your phone while playing on console, which is great for Discord or calls during gameplay. The base station is sleek and functional, but the button layout could be more intuitive, especially when switching audio sources quickly. Cons: Premium price tag, though well-justified for what you get Mic picks up background noise in louder environments Slight learning curve with the base station and software Bulky design not ideal for portability ANC is good, but not elite Final Verdict: If you're looking for one headset to rule them all—multi-platform, wireless, great sound, long-lasting battery—the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is it. Yes, it's expensive, but it's also one of the most complete and polished gaming headsets on the market. Ideal for serious gamers who demand comfort, flexibility, and high-end performance across devices.

The headset is good but be warn. If you own a PS5 and a Xbox Series X there is a mic problem. When you switch from PS5 to Xbox . the volume of the mic is not loud where people can hear you, This is a problem, Please check Reddit also for same issues.

Bought to use the simultaneous usb/Bluetooth audio. I updated the firmware and now it mutes USB audio when Bluetooth audio comes in like Discord. Harder to tell if the headset is on than previous headsets I've used. I don't like having to run GG software to use chat volume controls for PC. Previous headset was only $100 and had chat controls on the headset without software. For this price I shouldn't have any compromises compared to a third of the price headset.

The headset was uncomfortable, to be exact the imner ear muffs have a piece that holds where the speaker is and it hits your ears having you constantly having to adjust the headset. The Bluetooth would pop and make a low humming noise whenever connected.

Be careful - BestBuy sold me a returned open box set of these as “new”. While this may not have been malicious, it should not happen. I noticed that the Steelseries tape only has tamper evidence on one edge of the box, which makes it hard to tell they’ve been opened. As for the actual headset - they hurt my ears after a few hours of playing MW2. They sound good and feel premium to the touch but just aren’t worth the price tag for me. Additionally, the controller for the headset is a little difficult to use since there’s only one dial and one button.

Terrible .. the 3.5mm jack was bad right out of the box. I had to get another one , just to find out the mic on the headset was bad too. Return the whole thing. I paid $400 because I thought I was gonna treat myself to something nice, but instead I was back at Best Buy in less than 24 hours to return it. Not worth it.

One of the “hot swap” swappable batteries was a dud in the box. I reached out to Steelseries support via their ticket process and was given a response within 12-18 hours stating that a battery replacement would not be possible, and that they recommend I replace or refund the product at the reseller, and that they would give me a 15% off coupon for my troubles. I returned the product after having it for less than 24 hours. The headset itself was fine enough, but did not feel as premium as the price would indicate. The plastic parts of the headset seem like they will get scuffed easily, the retractable microhone cable is cheap and flimsy, and the microphone was not as clear as it could have been. Overall terrible experience with this company and product. Would not recommend.

Major Design Flaws and Bad Customer Support

2.5 star for product. -1 for Steel Series customer service. This headset is overprices, as other reviews mention, but in addition to the sounds quality being very "meh" I started experiencing interference and connection issues after the first few months. Bluetooth would go mute without any notification (beep or something) and without actually disconnecting - would have to manually disconnect and reconnect to restore functioning. The CPU connection on 2.4ghz would introduce noice - Steel Series said due possibly to USB 3.0 intereference. After wasting multiple attempts to contact Steel Series, they did nothing but walk me through common/basic troubleshooting that did not resolve the issues; they sent me a pdf about interference with USB 3.0 and expected me to compensate for their poor engineering and cost-saving build quality (it would theoretically take a nominal added cost in shielding to prevent these issues). Let me reitterate: THIS UNIT HAS INTERFERENCE WITH USB 3.0. A new design is made to NOT avoid interference with the newest in connection protocols. Garbage engineering, honestly. I really, really wanted to like this product...Anyway, Steel Series doubled down on their "try to get a return" instead of offering to repair/fix the issue, and absolutely refused to offer a replacement/return to me. I would not recommend this or any Steel Series product based on my expereince with their customer service alone.
