Not sure they're worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones to replace my aging Sony 1000XM4's. My XM4's are having a hard time with my laptops Intel Wifi 6E AX210 cards Bluetooth cutting out every now and then which was never an issue with the Previous laptop, but I also wanted to get away from the BT connection and try a dedicated transmitter. I can say these go a further distance wirelessly and through more walls than my XM4's, but the ANC is not nearly was powerful. These headphones would greatly benefit from aftermarket ear pads. Im hoping someone like Dekoni makes some super soft leather pads to replace the stock on these as pressing the OEM pads slightly against your ears when worn greatly improves the ANC by isolating the ears more. Overall I have tried to get these to sound similar to the XM4's and have come close, but they arent quite as good. They are close, but the XM4's I feel like have slightly more range of sound at both the high end and low (this is using the SONAR software on PC to adjust). If I want to listen to music, I find myself switching back to my XM4's. If I had to do it again, I probably would have tried the XM5's. The pod with the digital read out is unique and the temps/usage for GPU/CPU are a nice touch when gaming, but the display being black and white loses its appeal after a few mins. Build quality is sturdy, but the circle caps are being held on via magnets. The one side that houses the battery, seems like its barely being held in place, but it hasnt fallen off yet. The battery charger in the pod base is also a little odd. You press it in and down somewhat like an NES game cartridge. This initially threw me because it kept popping out and wouldnt stay in to charge. But pressing it down once in, it stays.

The best headset I have had
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The bild quality is very good. It connects to everything which is amazing. And you never have to charge it because of its use of rechargeable battery. So the only thing i would is not the best is that the xbox version can connect to all the rest of the consoles, but the rest of the versions cant connect to a xbox. So there really is no point of buying anything other than the xbox version in my opinion.

Need an HONEST review read this one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is so cool. Great sound quality. You can adjust custom sound preset at the fly without having to use your computer to change settings like other brands. You can connect to bluetooth so you can hear game audio and talk on the phone at the same time. Comes with two batteries to keep you gaming. It also has a headphone jack which i love to use with my asus rog ally. Mic is so good you can whisper if you change sensitivity settings so you can game at night and your teammates hear you loud and clear. My friend asked me what headset i had because i could hear foot steps and on his headset he couldn’t. He immediately went and bought the same headset i have. Take your competitive gaming to new heights with this headset.

Worth the money, especially when there’s a sale.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a fantastic headset. I’ve owned the Astro A50 and those sound great and are comfortable And come with a base to set the headset in. This headset beats out the Astro A50 by a hair AND has an extra battery to swap out so you don’t have to recharge. The only downside is not having a stand or base. The headset makes up for it and comfortability sound quality being able to change the battery out and overall solid style.

Not disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a are comfortable. High quality and sound good. I think the Astro A50 carries subtle sounds better. The swappable battery is amazing! One charging while you're playing. I just wish these were open back. I find myself only wearing one cup over my ears. So I can hear my surroundings.

Exceptional!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The audio is excellent but they feel slightly tight on my head (although to be fair I have a larger size head). They start to feel a little snug after about an hour but it’s not as bad as most other brands and I usually can manage. Maybe a little overpriced for what they do but overall very good.

Simply defines perfection!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To me, the SteelSeries - Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Multi-Gaming Headset exemplifies perfection, seamlessly blending exceptional performance, comfort, sound quality, and a reliably stable connection. Its meticulously crafted design ensures enduring comfort, even during prolonged gaming sessions. I purchased this headset for my Xbox Series X as a decision to replace two problematic headsets, caused by sound and connection issues. Upon setting up this Steel Series, the overall experience surpassed my expectations. The swappable battery feature is well-thought-out for uninterrupted use, eliminating the need to constantly recharge. The premium ergonomic design and build quality justify its price point. Furthermore, the array of connectivity options allows seamless integration with multiple devices, such as Xbox and PC, simultaneously, with the added convenience of Bluetooth for smartphone use. However, I primarily use it for gaming on my Xbox, where its incredible sound quality enhances my gaming experience to new heights.

Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a bunch of research and Youtube videos I decided on this headset. I picked it up for about $270 on sale. I picked this one because it works with the Xbox and the PS5 by just plugging it in, no setup necessary just plug and play. The PS5 version only works with it and PC or Switch while this set works with them all. The sound quality is top notch with Dolby Atmos or DTSX. Its light and comfortable, battery life is great and even comes with another battery so you can hot swap without even turning them off. Cant recommend enough.

It's alright
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The batteries are great. Sound is manageable and I'm sure will get better as I learn to use Sonar to dial it all in. The mic seems fine for everyone ive talked to on Discord but I'm not streaming or using it for meetings so your milage may vary. Comfort is where it loses stars. If you're a big head like me maybe consider something else. Even at full extension it is still a bit tight on my head and my ears just barely fit after some wiggling to get the headset in the right spot.

Outstanding Features, okay Sound and Comfort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very good headphones. For the right person, they will be the last pair of gaming headphones you will purchase for many years. The features on offer here are just unparalleled. However, the earcups are not good for most people, the cost is high, and the overall sound quality is good but not necessarily great. Pros: - Base station - actually super helpful - Swappable batteries - this effectively gives you infinite battery life - Simultaneous Bluetooth + 2.4 wireless connections - wonderful feature, just note that much cheaper headsets also have this - Competitive sound - I found these headphones picked up on footsteps and directionality extremely well - Noise cancelation is fine, the noise isolation is quite good though so combined they block a lot of noise. Cons: - Cost (obviously) - Comfort (out of the box) - for many people, the ear cushions are just not big enough and you will need to buy 3rd-party pads to make them comfortable - Enjoyability of the sound - the overall sound leaves something to be desired, which I will elaborate on further below Neither: - The mic is adequate. Nothing more, nothing less. - Transparency mode is nice to have... but pretty bad. Only to be used for very short periods. Full Review: I have used the SteelSeries Arctis 7X as my gaming headphones for the past 2.5 years or so. Solid headphones for the price, with particularly excellent comfort and adequate sound quality. I had been eying the nova pro wireless ever since release. The dual inputs on the docking station, simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connection, and unique battery swapping setup made these particularly appealing. I also was hoping for a fairly substantial audio uplift compared to my previous headphones. The main downside of the nova pro wireless, obviously, is the price. $350 is a lot for a gaming headset. That said, you can definitely find them on sale. I purchased them for $280, and I've seen them as low as $250 before. I finally decided to pull the trigger on these a few weeks ago. On the bright side, the features are exactly as good as advertised. The battery swapping, simultaneous connections, and dual inputs are extremely convenient. The sound quality, in terms of competitive audio, is also very good. I noticed footsteps positioning noticeably better than I could on my Arctis 7x. At the same time, the noise cancelation, while subtle (and nowhere near Bose, Sony, or Airpods), combines with the leather cushions to give very good noise isolation, allowing you to focus on your game in a noisy environment. The comfort, however, can be pretty bad. The microphone inside the ear cups does press against my ear after an hour or two, an occurrence which will undoubtedly get worse the more these are used. The leather cushions also get hot fast. Both of these issues are solved with $30 replacements from wicked cushions. If you really like these headphones but the comfort is a problem, buy the wicked cushions without hesitation, they really make the experience so much better. That said, that's an extra $30 on top of an already expensive headset. Something to keep in mind. Oh, and the mic is fine. Not amazing, not terrible, but fine. If you are on PC, use the Steelseries sonar software. It really is great and helps both the audio and mic to a certain extent. Now I want to go more in-depth into the audio. As I stated previously, the positional accuracy really is quite good. Footsteps are easy to hear and the directionality is very good. That said, a very different question would be how enjoyable is the sound? Not that great. You can EQ these for music. You can EQ them for gaming (on pc). But the sound quality is just good. Again, I'm not saying they sound bad, they sound fine. But just fine. At least to me. That said, if you like or are okay with how they sound, these are a great headset (after fixing the comfort) with unparalleled features. Legitimately if you want these features, there's nothing else on the market like them and they are amazing. If however, you are seeking superior sound for gaming and music and are willing to give up these features, keep reading as there are other options. Up to this point in my life, I had only ever heard Bose, Beats, and the AirPods max. So it is not like I have been a longtime audiophile, I have been firmly in the consumer audio camp my entire life. However, given the high price tag of this headset, I decided to take a look at the other non-"gaming" headphones out there and see if something in the audiophile space could be better for hopefully less money. I settled on the Sennheiser hd560s (bought at $150) as my test case of choice. Since I am gaming with these, I picked up a $20 boom mic on Amazon. When I put the hd560s on and started listening to music (I know, I am looking for a gaming headset, I'll get to that) I was absolutely floored. Coming from consumer closed-back headphones my whole life I was blown away by the soundstage (how wide the sound feels), the detail and instrument separation, and particularly vocals. They sound phenomenal, leagues better than the SteelSeries and significantly better than my AirPods max. Now gaming, that's what you want to know. Footsteps and gunshots are extremely clear. Remember that instrument separation (aka imaging)? That shows big time while gaming. It doesn't matter what explosion or chaos is going on, you can still hear everything perfectly with pristine detail. Positionally, I'd say it's just as good as the SteelSeries. But everything just sounds better. Gunshots and footsteps are so much cleaner and fuller. The sense of immersion and width of the sound is so much greater. The soundtrack and background music sound miles better. The sound difference was the dramatic jump over the 7x's that I had hoped the nova pro wireless would be, and then exceeded my expectations. Oh, and the $20 boom mic is fine. Not really any worse than the nova pro. So for $170 all in, these are a massive sound quality boost over the nova pro wireless for far cheaper. All of that said, the hd560s are wired. they have no simultaneous connections and no docking station. They have no noise cancelation, and the open-back design lets a lot of noise through (and allows for some noise bleed, although it honestly isn't terrible), although it does allow for mic usage without mic monitoring in my opinion. They are a different class of product. However, the 560s offer a far superior audio experience than the nova pro for much cheaper. As I said earlier though, it all comes down to your priorities. I really thought I needed wireless, and the features the nova pro wireless had to offer. I realized I did not really need them, as nice as they are, and personally, I decided to prioritize sound quality over some convenience benefits. If you are like me and just want to make sure you want a "gaming" headset, I'd recommend purchasing a gaming headset of choice and then also purchasing something like the hd560s from best buy. Try both out for a week or two and then return the one you do not want. This is what I did and I do not regret it. Either route you go, I believe you will be happy as both of these are very good products, just with their own audiences.

Amazing headset with a catch.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could give this more stars than I did. The sound quality is amazing, the connectivity is JUST about flawless (have had at least 1 disconnection and a few other blips from time to time), it's fairly comfortable (I am one of the people affected by the noise cancellation bumps in the ear cups), and the idea of having swappable batteries for a virtually perpetual gaming experience without interruption of your audio device. That idea was not executed so well, though. I am probably in the minority here, but the process of swapping the battery has not been seamless. The removal of the ear cup plate and battery, as well as the removal and depositing of the battery to the docking station has a bit of patience required. I even accidentally put the battery in backward in the docking station and thought it wasn't coming back out as it took a while to get it unjammed. I feel that this is an easy mistake that someone could make and it could completely negate the docking station. Some less ambiguous markings on the batteries would be nice. I would still suggest that anyone get this headset. Just be mindful when changing out the batteries and don't chew your fingernails, because you'll certainly need them.

Unlimited charge time
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of these headphones is far greater than I expected. The earpieces are soft and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time without being too hot. The best part is that it comes with 2 batteries so that you can charge one while the other is being used. The sonar software also provides a ton of customization for sound profiles.

Awesome Headset, not awesome price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headset sounds pretty good, its comfortable, the noise canceling is decent and definitely quiets unwanted outside noise, the software is solid and very customizable. The mic is decent and also has a cover you can put on. Cons: software is a pain at first because too many inputs and outputs, and headset is too expensive for what it does.

An almost perfect headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know theres no such things as perfect, but use perfect in this discussion is worth deserve on this headphones. For those that are in a hurry, the reason why it isn’t perfect is that the noise cancellation is not up to par with the likes of Apple’s airpods, Sony, and Bose. If Apple is a 10/10 (as an example only) then this is a 5/10. The noise cancellation can compete, but it will be on the lower tier from its peers. Now that thats out of way. The sound quality is awesome. Comfort is AWESOME. The ease of use is awesome. If you have both Xbox series X and PS5, do yourself a favor and get the Xbox version. The PS5 version is not compatible with Xbox. Another bonus is that you can hook up your phone to the headphones while you're playing games and can answer phone calls WHILE YOU’RE PLAYING GAMES, like whut?! It just works. The swappable battery that is included. Like kudos to the engineers and designers of this headphones. For $350+ it is worth-it.

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset. I have been using for over 2 years now without an issue. I did have to replace one of the batteries but it did last for over a year before failing to charge. They are vey comfortable for multi hour gaming sessions. Good sound quality. Clear mic for game chat and phone calls. I will wear them when cleaning house to listen to books or music via bluetooth frequently. ANC is not as good as my Sony MX4's but in my home it is more than sufficient. Highly recommend
