Customers enjoy the superb sound quality, amazing battery life, and comfortable design of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity. However, some find the price to be high and the noise-canceling feature could be improved. A few users also mentioned that the software could be more user-friendly and the ear pads could be more substantial.

ANC is great. Double batteries are a great idea for either very long gaming sessions or when you forget to charge the battery (which was a common issue for me on other headsets I have owned). The base looks kind of basic, but allows plenty of customization and control. SteelSeries' software may not be the best, but it's decent enough to not warrant any missed stars here. Headset is sturdy, feels high quality and works and sounds great.

Headset battery life is amazing, I use it with my standing mic on my desk and when not using the microphone on the headset the battery last for days. it super comfortable and super convenient to switch out the batter when it gets low due to being able to have an extra battery charging on the dock so you never really run out of battery.

I decided to treat myself so I did some research to figure out what I would like best if I was switching my audio between Desktop and Xbox. Overall, I love the headphones. I can play for hours without getting a headache. The battery hot swap is a nice touch to the level grinding sessions, so I’m not having cords dangling around to recharge. The sound, is very clean and clear, and you can The biggest bleh factor for me is the price, but again I decided to treat myself and wanted the best, and 5 months later I’m still happy about my purchase.

I’ve owed many top end gaming headsets and they always seem to fall short of expectations. This headset has surpassed my expectations. The ability to separate sound while keeping the bass without making the overall sound muddy is unmatched by the competition at this price range. I play COD heavy and after a quick adjustment to the EQ I’m calling out enemy direction before my teammates hear them. The separate Bluetooth is a great option as they are also good for music or YouTube videos. The ANC (active noise cancellation) is great. Having 2 batteries and quick swap outs means I’ve never had to find a charge cord mid game. Only real complaint is you can hear a very slight high pitch noise when the ANC is off and there’s no sound. Very minor but it’s still an issue.

TL/DR - Works with all current consoles and PC. Costs a pretty penny. ANC is excellent. Let me preface this review with the fact that I am an avid ("elder-millennial") gamer, mostly PC and all iterations of consoles. I am allowed to have 8+ hour sessions from time to time due to these headphones. I still have my RIG800 LXs, Logitech Pro X Wireless (Gen 1), and my rinky dink Alienware 510H 7.1 headphones in reserve. I purchased these headphones to replace my Pro X wireless ones as they were starting to get cracks in the plastic frame. The ability to swap batteries is a boon, granted you have all-day battery life from each battery. SteelSeries has replacement and customization parts on their website if you are not satisfied with their minimalist design or need a new headband or batteries. If you play FPSs such as COD or Battlefield, you have a fully adjustable soundstage to hear your surroundings even better. I can hear people much more clearly and sometimes even through buildings. If you don't like tinkering with your settings there are set it and forget it drop-down menu options to get you going. The active noise canceling does a great job of reducing the whirring of the rig if you like to have your fans pumping (it doesn't make it completely disappear). If you don't prefer ANC, you can also use the transparent mode to carry on conversations. The only gripe about the supplied DAC is that the back button sometimes doesn't register my fingers tapping. Cons: Cost-prohibitive (Purchased @ $349, best to get it on sale.) Requires yet another program to run in the background (further utilizing CPU resources for folks running older hardware) The back button sensitivity on the DAC is not as sensitive as it should be. Pros: World Class build quality (subjective) Clean appealing aesthetics All-day battery life Adjustable comfortable headband. Clear mic Active Noise Cancelling Compatible with all consoles (as read in the fine print on the back of the box, the PS5 version does not have the same fine print.)

The most comfortable headset I've purchased by far. And I've been through quite a few brands, as well as another model from this brand. Now add great audio quality, awesome audio presets, the mix amp to adjust game/chat audio with ease, its light weight materials, noise cancellation, Bluetooth, retractable mic, an extra battery that's always charging, easy setup, a very impressive wireless range (for bathroom runs, just remember to mute)....and OMG what is there not to love! The price? Well worth it in my opinion. First headset in a long time that I've bought that didn't give me buyers remorse. Even with that price tag. Get one!

I have some Astro A50’s which I love but these are now my favorite. They are superior in every way. The noise cancellation is top notch. I can have these plugged into my Xbox and PC at the same time switching between them in the Amp/charger. Comes with 2 batteries that last long. Headphones are comfortable to wear. Extendable mic is cool and can be hidden. Mute button will light the tip of the mic with a red light letting you know it’s on. Listening to music/videos/movies on these is a experience, not just flat sound. Worth every penny!

    Great Headset With Small Earcups.

This headset checked all the boxes on paper, so I decided to try them out as part of my hunt for an Arctis 7 replacement. Overall they have tons of features, if you can stand wearing them. The Good: - ANC with Transparency mode. While I find the ANC itself to be uncomfortable (has the higher 'pressure' feel of some ANC headphones out there), the Transparency mode is AMAZING. I have kids and sometimes I try to sneak in a few rounds during the day. Being able to hear and talk to my kids with the headset on is awesome. Usually I need to do the 'half-on one ear' method with one of the earcups, but with this mode I can just leave the headset on. - Hot Swap battery is slick. The extra battery charges in the base station and is easily swapped out from the headset. The fit and feel of putting the battery into the station is kinda janky though. It's loose and needs to be pushed in, then down to catch a lip for keeping it in. Then you lift to pop it out. I wish it was more like an sd card lock, where you push in to lock, then push in again to unlock. Battery life on one pack isn't too bad and the charge time on the second pack is pretty quick. -Simultaneous Bluetooth connection with auto phone-answering. This is fantastic for me. If you want to stream music from your phone while gaming, or if like me you need to answer phone calls at any time (including mid-game!) this feature is really nice. When a call comes in, the headset switches over automatically, I just need to hit 'accept' on my phone. When done, the game volume and chat are right back in play with nothing else needed to do. (Few caveats here though: The Bluetooth by default just stays on even after you turn the headset itself off. Make sure to turn both the headset AND the bluetooth off separately. Make sure your ringer volume on your device is turned LOW. The default Bluetooth volume is loud af and almost blew my eardrums out when I got my first call lol) -Sonar software is a liiiiiitle buggy but overall functionality is very nice. You get all kinds of digital enhancement/EQ options for both your sound and the mic sound, plus a digital mixer. You'll get several audio device inputs/outputs show up in Windows so you can route and volume manage everything. As someone that likes to tinker with volume mixes, I love this. The Bad: - Sidetone is pretty quiet even at full volume. - The earcups are too small. Both in diameter and in depth. I bought wicked cushion upgrades for this set and while it eliminated the ANC 'nub-rub', the cups are just too small for me to wear this set comfortably. The tops and bottoms of my ears are in constant contact with the pads which makes it hard for me to use for more than 20 minutes at a time. YMMV, but for me this is a huge detriment. I know the smaller cups help with the ANC function, but I'd rather not have the ANC and have more comfortable experience. Oh and that ANC 'nub-rub' I mentioned is from an extra bit that sticks off the drivers into the earcup. Keep an eye on this when trying them out. Doesn't feel bad in the first minute, but after gaming a bit you may feel them more significantly. -Price. $350 can buy you a lot of stuff, so consider alternatives unless some feature on here is a must have for you.

I'll start by saying I absolutely love this headset. It's comfortable, works great, had zero issues with it so far. I use it on my Xbox Series-X and it sounds significantly better than my previous headset (Astro A50s, although they had more bass, they weren't as clear, and my buddies say this one is much better on their end as well) my favorite thing is the swappable batteries, so you always have one ready to go, vs having to break out a 15ft usb cord because you forgot to charge it one night (or in the case of my astros... the base was super finicky about the headset resting just right to charge.)

Okay, so at $350, they're a bit pricey. Let's get that out of the way. Especially considering that the Geeksquad protection (which I feel is mandatory on something like this) is $129. It's crazy to think that the cost of the headset plus the Geeksquad is almost as much as a brand-new Series X or PS5. However, I was fortunate to pick them up when they went on sale for $100 off. All that being said, they are amazing!! I have all three consoles and many Bluetooth devices, so I definitely wanted something that would function properly with everything. I love the fact that I can simultaneously use Bluetooth on my mobile phone while using either console. It's a feature that has become mandatory for me. I answer work calls, or pipe in some tunes to listen to while I'm gaming. This is truly the best, most comprehensive gaming headset available. The extra swappable battery is fantastic, you never run out of juice. The base station gives you ridiculous range and quick access to the most needed features on the fly. For more in depth customization, all you need to do is hook them up to your computer and you can make adjustments to EQ and functionality to suite your taste. My only "complaint" is that the not so little ANC nub they attached to each speaker rubbed very uncomfortably against both of my ears when I first bought them. I don't hold that against Arctis though, it's impossible for them to design something that is going to work perfectly for every head and ear size and shape. Especially when your features are XL like mine. Not everyone is going to experience the issue with the "nub" but it's definitely something you should be aware of, because if you're like me and you can feel it, it's completely unacceptable. Purchasing an upgraded aftermarket earpad will solve this problem. I was already planning on replacing the stock earpads with an aftermarket set made by a great company I have purchased earpads from before. They weren't available when I bought the headset, so sadly I had to put up with the nub for a little while, but they are available now and I would recommend doing some research and picking up a set of the aftermarket earpads regardless of if you can feel the "nub" or not. If you're comfortable spending this much on a headset, just go the distance and get a set of aftermarket earpads as well. It's the cherry on top of an otherwise absolutely stellar headset.

If you are on the market for gaming headphones look no more. These are the best wireless gaming headphones on the market period. I’m a headphone freak. Have like 10 different headphones for gaming. Turtle Beach, JBL, Logitech, Xbox, etc and these are my absolute favorites. I can hear everything and they do a good job on COD. I can locate effortlessly enemy players with clear sound and heavy bass. If you are using on XBOX I highly recommend downloading Sonar on your PC. Update the firmware, download different audio files and setups to your mixer and enjoy. Another thing that I love about these headphones is the customization. You can buy different color head band, pads and plates to give your headset a different look. The only thing I don’t like about this headphones are the ear pads, they are not comfy at all but Wicked Cushions sell amazing ones. Again don’t look elsewhere buy this headset now!

With over 20 years of gaming under my belt, I have purchased just about every headset you can imagine from inexpensive to very expensive. This is the best headset I have ever used! I can wear this for hours and it never hurts my head. I never feel like they are making me hot or cause me to sweat. The pair with everything effortlessly, the microphone works perfect and is crystal clear, and it comes with a spare battery that is always charging to ensure a quick change if the headset battery gets low. Spend the extra bucks for these and you will not be sorry!

I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro for Xbox after watching Youtube reviews stating it was the best one. What I like about this headset is the quality of its build and the clarity of the audio. It pairs to my XBOX series X as soon as it is plugged in and powered on. No settings need to be adjusted on your xbox. It comes with 2 batteries so you never run out of charge as you always have one charging inside the base station. I also like that you can listen to a bluetooth device while playing your game so I can be on a phone call or enjoying my music from my cell phone at the same time. I have used this for work as well due to its compatibility with PC. I've been able to listen to music while participating in zoom meetings. What I did not like was the learning curve to get the best out of it's feature. The documentation included with the headset is not clear on how each button works so I had to research online. For example, it took me a while to get it to turn off completely. Not only do you have to long press the power button but you also have to long press the bluetooth button to turn everything off otherwise the bluetooth will stay on and drain the battery. Short pressing the bluetooth button will pause your media. You have to control the volume from the bluetooth device as the headset volume control only adjusts what's connected to the base station. Also you need to hold down the bluetooth button for at least 6 seconds in order for it to go into pairing mode so you can switch to another device. You will also want to download the sonar software from Steel Series so you can modify the microphone settings so your voice sounds less nasal to others. Wait for it to go on sale so you don't have to pay $300+ for it as well.
