It has very good sound quality and I like that you can connect your phone to it when it is also connected to your console or pc but the microphone quality is beyond poor so for a console player it’s just to much of a hassle

Honestly one of the best headsets I’ve had. Good for work and gaming and the audio adjustment dials comes in handy for quick adjustments!

This is the second one I have purchased. Why? Because it performed exceptionally well, prompting me to purchase one for my son as well.

Shoddy from the beginning, held my hopes things would get better.. they did not. I have used this headset for 6 months and it is now just an expensive paperweight. This is not a 350 dollar headset, this was equivalent to a 125 dollar headset - until it completely died 6 months in. Beware connection issues. Every single day. It started with random disconnects - you hear a beep and you've lost audio and mic. This usually resolved itself or a quick unplug/replug for the base and you're set. Then it started getting worse. Eventually (now) it seems to connect to the computer, but the audio will not come out of the headset and microphone does not work. I see the outputs, but when selected - nothing. No audio. Both plugged in and wireless. Tried USB3 ports as well as USB2. The rest of the reviews are correct as well, there's a hard plastic component literally right in your ear cavity on the headset - pushing straight onto your ear. The ear-pads are not breathable and your head/ears will start to sweat. You can buy 3rd party ear pads - these are thicker and you won't get stabbed by the inner plastic component. They are also more breathable. Should come with the headsets. After 6 months, the batteries no longer last more than 6 hours. Constant swapping.

Best headset i have ever had. Would recommend to everyone. Clarity is great, durability is great, just all around great.

overpriced but a very good headset and honestly worth it in the long run.

Good headset, works with my GOXLR and maintains wireless capabilities. However after two years, the headset started clicking and popping in the right ear. Super frustrating that for the price it is, it should last longer than it did.

I feel the mic isn’t as good as it could be but it is a headset and not a standalone mic so as long as your exceptions are in the realm of possibility it is a great sounding headset I would recommend getting the 7x instead of spending the extra money for these

Very comfortable but the software for customizing the sound mixer wasnt very easy I just wanted seperate dual channels similar to astros

Awesome headset. I’ve had this headset for a while now, and it hasn’t let me down. Allows me to hear everything I need, and is durable. Setup is super easy, and changing out batteries is quick.

For the price I find that the audio qaulity is lacking in audio differentiation, clarity and audio appointment. To clarify: the background noises were hard to detect even at loud volumes. My old headset was immersive and this headset made it hard to discern where footstep were eminating from, while gamming. I have not used the headset for music so I can't give an account of the quality there. However, if this headset doesn't properly appoint sounds while gamming I can't imagine it being any better when being asked to do the same with music. The dongle is what sets this headset / dongle combo above most others in this category. See Youtube for a clarification on this. All in all. Would not buy again.

Needed a lightweight headset that would work with multiple units. It is a great product I wasn’t sure because we have used wireless Astros but this product worked great it’s a great value.

This headset is very good! The only complaint I have is that sometimes when I have the microphone on there’s a static noise which I can’t seem to get rid of which is annoying of hope steelseries is able to fix that but other than that a great microphone for its price imo.
