I am going to be honest and helpful as much as I can be, as I make this review. I have come across a lot of negative reviews about this headset. So hopefully this review will help ease your mind, when purchasing this 349.99 headset cause it is an expensive investment. For starters you definitely get what you paid for when you pay this hefty price tag. The word “premium” is definitely and understatement when you buy this headset, cause the packaging is the best and even unboxing makes you feel like you bought a true premium headset. Secondly I would highly recommend you update these if you have access to a PC, but from my understanding they will still work without the software update. I see a lot of people complaining about sound not loud enough or cracking the volume to the max… there is a suggestion for that, tune into your EQ settings and learn the highs, mids and lows. Another thing that helps is using Dolby Atoms. Dolby Atmos makes such a big difference when you custom your settings to your likings, and I can assure you that you will not be complaining about not sounding loud enough. I played battlefield hardline, max Payne 3, battlefield 4 and Halo infinite. These headsets truly are remarkable on what they are capable of. I have not experienced one single crackling sound, or audio popping or connectivity issues. I had the Razer kaira Pro, and those headsets were constantly dropping connection, making my Xbox controller disconnect… I couldn’t seem to understand why it was dong this? But I fiddled with some settings and it seemed like charging the output to 60hz fixed rhe connectivity issues. But still was causing crackling and sound distortion. So I decided to finally just buy the Steel series Nova Pro, hoping this would fix my issue that I was having with the Razer pro, and I can happily say it has. I can play at the full 120hz without worrying to reset console or restart it constantly. Overall I would 100% recommend these headers to anyone. I am a huge audiophile when it comes to sound quality in headphones. These will not disappoint you at all. The sound is so crisp and clear and bass is very punchy. The bass doesn’t sound distorted when playing at high volumes. Which is one thing I noticed with other headsets when you compare to this premium product. So if you are hesitating on buying this headset.. DON’T. Cause if you tune your settings right and pay for the Dolby Atmos license, you will not even wanna stop playing once you experience the immersion the headset can deliver. If you want the best of the best, then this is the product for you.

I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro for Xbox after watching Youtube reviews stating it was the best one. What I like about this headset is the quality of its build and the clarity of the audio. It pairs to my XBOX series X as soon as it is plugged in and powered on. No settings need to be adjusted on your xbox. It comes with 2 batteries so you never run out of charge as you always have one charging inside the base station. I also like that you can listen to a bluetooth device while playing your game so I can be on a phone call or enjoying my music from my cell phone at the same time. I have used this for work as well due to its compatibility with PC. I've been able to listen to music while participating in zoom meetings. What I did not like was the learning curve to get the best out of it's feature. The documentation included with the headset is not clear on how each button works so I had to research online. For example, it took me a while to get it to turn off completely. Not only do you have to long press the power button but you also have to long press the bluetooth button to turn everything off otherwise the bluetooth will stay on and drain the battery. Short pressing the bluetooth button will pause your media. You have to control the volume from the bluetooth device as the headset volume control only adjusts what's connected to the base station. Also you need to hold down the bluetooth button for at least 6 seconds in order for it to go into pairing mode so you can switch to another device. You will also want to download the sonar software from Steel Series so you can modify the microphone settings so your voice sounds less nasal to others. Wait for it to go on sale so you don't have to pay $300+ for it as well.

I needed a comfortable headset for both work and gaming. I was using a wired Arctis Pro which was great. But I really wanted to get rid of the cable. This headset has been great. I wear Nova pro all day with no issues. The battery life has been good. I can get two solid days without switching batteries. I was concerned with the microphone and what it would sound like to the people I speak with. Configuring with headset with the Sonar configuration makes the headset sound great. These are on the pricy side, but with all the features, they are worth the price

Great headset, I have been buying SteelSeries headsets for a while and I’m constantly impressed by them. The sound quality is excellent and if you ever need ear pads, side plates, or headbands for the headset you can go to their site and buy them for replacing so your headset will always look clean. They come with two batteries so one is always in the gamedac charging while you’re using the other, you’ll never have problems with battery life. And if you want more batteries you can go to their website and buy them.

Pros: -lightweight -the battery in one charge lasts a decent while -comfortable Cons: -Ear cups are too thin and you can feel the nub that does the NCA function against your ear. Recommended to change the earcups for some that are both plush and comfortable. -it is a decent chunk of change, but if you have the extra lying around, then it's a good purchase.

Awesome sound! When playing fps games you can actually sense where they are around you. The ability to swap from Xbox to PS5 is perfect. No knobs or buttons to use. Just turn on which ever console you are using, and it automatically hooks up. The main module has a battery charging slot built into it. So you’ll always have a charged battery. The comfort is nice also, so wearing glasses with it works. There is little to no noise bleed from the outside environment while wearing them. It’s the best headset I’ve had so far.

Works great, the fact that it has a removable battery and extra battery that charges right on the module is a must, I can never go back. There is no interference through the wireless audio and has excellent sound, comfort, and useful features. the noise cancellation can be turned on or off, can be used with other systems not just xbox, and has bluetooth active at the same time. Overall, would recommend it for the money.

Stand head and shoulders above the competition. Nothin i know of works for multiple consoles. Battery life is amazing and aince you can change the batteries out you never have to worry about plugging your headset in! Side tone controls are amazing and doesn’t require hooking into a computer program to edit it. Depth of sound is great and you can fine tune it. The only downside is that it isnt as cool (temperature) as its predecessors like the arctis 9x

This gaming headsets are a most on your set up for pc or Xbox, great sound cancelation, also really good sound quality, love the option for a removable battery perfect for those long gaming sessions. Now not everything is nice on this product starting with the price tag a bit on in the expensive side but still almost worth if you able to grab this on a discount get them, also the headset it self is a bit small I had to remove the headband in order to confortably use them. Over all a great gaming headset.

The sound quality is awesome and so sensitive on gaming that you hear things other people can't hear when under attack and you can tell where someone's coming from. Microphone is neat because you can pull it out or leave it in the headphone as needed, If you're in the room by yourself with no background noise don't need to extend the microphone. Very comfortable.

These headphones fit a variety of purposes for me, while being very easy to use. First off, I use these with Bluetooth for my phone to listen to music. The active noise cancelling on the plane is great! The headset mic also works well for calls. Then I use it at home on my PC, the dock is connected to my monitor that has a built in KVM. This is great as I switch between personal and work laptops, the headset follows. It also connects to both Mac and windows without an issue. Overall the headphones sound great listening to music. The mic also performs wonderfully across platforms and transmission mediums (Bluetooth/dock). My intention was to find a single headset that had a great mic, good sound quality, and had ANC for travel on airplanes. This headset does it all!

This headset sounds great, but truly shines when you mess around with the sound settings on the steel series app. The mic sucks compared to other headsets. The replaceable batteries, excellent software, comfort and sound makenup for that though. Grab them when they are on sale for a better value. Switching between xbox and pc is super easy once you know how it works.

If you are on the market for gaming headphones look no more. These are the best wireless gaming headphones on the market period. I’m a headphone freak. Have like 10 different headphones for gaming. Turtle Beach, JBL, Logitech, Xbox, etc and these are my absolute favorites. I can hear everything and they do a good job on COD. I can locate effortlessly enemy players with clear sound and heavy bass. If you are using on XBOX I highly recommend downloading Sonar on your PC. Update the firmware, download different audio files and setups to your mixer and enjoy. Another thing that I love about these headphones is the customization. You can buy different color head band, pads and plates to give your headset a different look. The only thing I don’t like about this headphones are the ear pads, they are not comfy at all but Wicked Cushions sell amazing ones. Again don’t look elsewhere buy this headset now!

    A Banger!

An absolute banger of a headset! I love the design and sleekness of the design. Headsets nowadays seem too clunky and flashy looking but this headset is clean and sleek. The pleather ear cuffs are great and comfortable but aren't as tough as I would like. They're almost too soft. The removable battery pack is great because you can take out the dead one and add the charged one in no time. The second battery pack actually stores and charges in the audio dock which is awesome. I can listen to XBOX audio and computer audio at the same time which is ana amazing feature and you have to use the SONAR technology in the SteelSeries program to get the most out of these headphones. The headphones out of the box sound great but when you play around with the SONAR settings and find the perfect sound for you and the task you are listening to, it is game changing. Now for my CONS which are very minimal other than one. A con is obviously the price. They are typically listed at 350 and I think that is just crazy high. I was lucky enough to get them at 250 and I think they are well worth that price. My next con is the retractable mic. This is mainly me being picky but I would prefer one to just flip up and down but I think the goal here is to also have these to carry to the airport, gym, or other places where a mic might look weird to have so this feature allows for the flexibility of both gaming and everyday activities. Lastly and probably the biggest con is the inability to switch between SONAR settings on the doc. I have two settings, gaming and normal computer/music use. As of now, you have to manually go in the SONAR app and switch your settings between the two in my case. It would be awesome to be able to toggle between the two on the docking station instead of having to use the app. Overall a fantastic product and I am glad to have pulled the trigger on these.

This is replacing the same one I've had. You cant beat the sound quality and comfort in my opinion. The durability can speak for itself, mine has made it through multiple military movements; change of duty station, deployments, and the many times I've traveled back and forth from home and where I'm stationed. My only gripe would be its extremely expensive and it seems like PS5/PC gets more deals on these headsets than Xbox/PC players. But I'll continue to pay for these headsets.
