A few fun hours but not as fun as I thought it would be. Def could be better.

This game isn't easily played but my daughter does like it.

This game is really amazing and frustrating at the same time. The amazing part is that the multiple mountain map is massive and you can go to any of it. At anytime you have the choice to board, ski, wingsuit, paraglide, or walk. At anytime you can end or not end your run and go anywhere else. Some of the scenery and light effects are mind blowing. Some infuriating thing are simply jumping, you have to do it early and even then it is just sometimes glitchy and very frustrating, this is exacerbated by the fact that most of your air comes from jumping and not simply your momentum going off a jump, the game actually forces you back at the ground if you don't press jump at the right time(unrealistic). Also this game is insanely difficult sometimes, mostly the wingsuit challenges where's you have to use the not so precise Xbox controller to navigate insanely tight spaces. Also pulling off high point tricks and some timed races seem nearly impossible, a throwback to older games where you had to press restart 100 times before you got it. It is quite hard to be smooth in this game due to the unnatural feel sometimes and some glitchiness. There seems to be quite a bit of personal customizing but I am a gameplay type of person. So in conclusion this game offers many amazing and rewardingly experiences along with its frustrations in a massive and beautiful open world. The ability to do multiple activities really breaks up any type of monotony or frustration from doing a single activity over and over. It is important to keep playing as the game really opens up to you nicely.

Gorgeous scenery, but overall a clunky, poor game.

I just played about an hour of the open beta, and even after that short time, this game is incredible. I've played other snowboarding games, and I've played open world games. This is the first open world boarding game though. Super unique, graphics are phenomenal, gameplay is amazing.

I played the recent beta and it was nothing but pure fun and adrenaline fueled game. the physics, sounds and the fun terrain were are realistic! Telemark/ free-heel skiing would have been a nice touch which is my passion for traveling in the backcountry.

played the open beta over the weekend and was just having a blast. it's as fun as it is frustrating on some of the challenges but its still fun especially with friends. so much more satisfying crushing your friends high score on a challenge. wingsuits are fun. I'm still bad at paragliding. the customization options seem fairly robust as far as gear is concerned but hoping for more content with updates. can't wait to explore more of the map tho looks massive!

Ok...I gave this 5 stars for ME. I love snowboarding, and consider it one of my favorite hobbies. With that said... Not everyone will like this. If you aren't a winter sports/adrenaline fanatic you will be disappointed. If you are looking for ssx or snowboard kids...you will be disappointed. But I love this game, that's all that matters to me. Maybe you will too!

Infinite Air is much more realistic and the controls are very good and rewarding once you master them. STEEP is more of an arcade game and the controls are not that great. Infinite Air allows you to create your own mountains. STEEP allows you to fly around like a bird.
