Not like the past street fighters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst street fighter in the series. Might be better after the update but it lacks a lot of features right off the bat. Very disappointed

Bad graphics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It just looks like it was made in 1999. The characters are still good though, like in the original game.

This is not SF
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No arcade mode and the Story Mode is awful. This game feels rushed and incomplete.

So disappointed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this game to anyone. I was so excited to play this considering I loved the game on PS3. But this was a total let down. If you are a huge street fighter fan, dont pay full price for this game. I guarantee you can find used ones out there that have only been played once.

Unfinished
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awful addition to the Street Fighter franchise. Released too early and unfinished. This is a horrible game, not worth the full $60 price tag. Wait until June to purchase when it will supposedly be finished. Even then it may not be, seeing as how the first major update was already delayed 2 weeks from the promised date. As Dudley would say, "Gutter trash"

Choppy frame rate and poor story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting an actual fighting game similar to streetfighter four. However upon playing this version I was disappointed to see that this was more of a regression rather than progression in the game series.

Good mechanics, but currently some problems.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you are a hardcore Street Fighter fan, I would recommend holding off on purchasing this title until more features are released later this year. It is currently bare bones and there are some server issues. There is no arcade mode and the single player experience is pretty limited at this time. On the bright side, the gameplay is solid. The game automatically saves replays of all your online matches which is nice. I'm not sure if its retroactive, but you don't earn any fight money (in-game currency for purchasing future characters and costumes) if you're not logged in and connected to their server. I would not recommend this title to a friend in it's current state.

Casual players may want to wait for more updates
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Street Fighter V has solid gameplay and Capcom is working to improve the issues plaguing the game currently. So if you love fighting games and playing against other people I would say the game is a good experience that will only get better moving forward. If you're more of the casual guy that likes fighters, but will spend more time on the vs cpu modes then you might want to wait until more free content and improvements are implemented later this year.

The Biggest Let Down of 2016
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've posted this review elsewhere since I have such strong feelings about this game, so here it is again with slightly more info.... The good news is that if you only own an XBox One, you're not missing much. This was one of my most wanted games of the year and I was in complete disgust 10 minutes after playing with the sheer lack of content. If you like single player or have no online connection then you're stuck with training, survival, or a pathetic story mode that can be beaten in about 5 or 6 minutes with no skill. If this had come out at $30 I would think it was worth that, but for $60 forget it. If you own a PS3, PS4, Steam or 360 then please do yourself a favor and buy Ultra Street Fighter 4 on one of those instead. Not only do you get far more content, but you'll pay a lot less too. Graphically the game looks great. However the shadowing on the characters looks terrible. If you've ever played an old Sega Saturn and remember the screen door transparencies, well its pretty much the same here, just smoothed out a little. Its not too noticeable in most screenshots, but playing on my 47 inch in 1080p it stands out like a sore thumb.
