The Glory Days of Arcades
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Street Fighter is a classic arcade game that is still fun to play. This latest installment, Street Fighter V, is a good entry into the franchise. Blending some of our favorites with new characters, the fighting aspect hasn't lost its touch. However, the initial roster consisting of just 16 playable fighters is too thin. And the stories for each of the characters, interconnected as they are, were too brief. I understand that more fighters will be made available for download, as well as expanded stories, in the coming weeks and months. If you have fond memories of playing Street Fighter at the arcade with your friends, then you will enjoy this game.

Game Incomplete
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While solid in it's gameplay mechanics, Street Fighter V is light on single player game modes in it's current state. Will probably move to 4/5 stars in a few months once they finish the game. Graphics are good, with the exception of shadows which look kind of pixelated. But if you are really into fighting games and have friends to play with you will probably have a good time with this game.

Great Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the update coming out 3/28/16 This is the right time to jump in with all the new features and dlc. This is one fun game that will only get better with time.

Disappointed so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic street fighter game that introduces a new v-trigger system which I think is nice as it can serve different functions for different characters. Very visually pleasing. The huge disappointing factor is the server. To earn fp which is in game currency and to rank up your character you have to be connected to the capcom servers which constantly crash and when you do eventually connect and play online, it constantly lags. Along with the lack of an arcade story mode and other features which will be released later makes this game a disappointment so far. Once the server issues are fixed and all features are released it has the potential to live up to its street fighter name that we've all come to know and love.

Great for people who like fighting streets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like streets? Like Fighting? Love the letter "V"? Then this is the game for you! Pick your favorite letter from the alphabet and fight it out on the streets of LA while you work towards being the best ninja there ever was because that is your ninja way.

Good but so many flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gameplay of SF5 IMO is the best the series has ever had, but the lack of content really hurts this game, no arcade mode atm, and no vs AI option either, only get this right now if you got friends to play with or want to play online

Fun game with a lot of potential
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very much into fighting games such as this and Mortal Kombat. This was a bit harder to get into as it is a much more technical but it was rewarding when I finally got the hang of it and i was able to hold my own against online opponents. This game is supposed to be receiving a lot of content in the coming months (Story Mode) so some people might feel it is a it barebones for now but I have no problem with it since I play with my brothers and online.

Ok overall but could've been so much better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a huge fan of Street Fighter since the original. They've messed it up lately but this one is going towards the right direction. The fighting mechanics are very good but it has those stupid multi-hit combos. They need to get rid of that. This isn't Mortal Kombat. There's also no arcade mode where you can just play against the computer at different levels. At least the online is pretty much playable. The graphics are good. Overall, Capcom has brought the game closer to what we really love about Street Fighter but they still have some more work to do,

I wish it had more
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is not done as of this review, how they got away with releasing it is pretty amazing. The gameplay is good, as everyone has said, but it's just missing far to many features that are in every street fighter up till this point. Capcom is doing some really strange stuff lately (past 5 years)

DO NOT BUY THIS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's the list of features that ARE and are NOT in the game: IN THE GAME: 1. "Online Gameplay" NOT IN THE GAME: 1. "Challenges" 2. "Trials" 3. "1P vs CPU" 4. "CPU vs CPU" 5. "Player Lobbies" 6. "Cinematic Story Mode" [Coming out in June] 7. "Individual Character Stories" [Missing Chapters] 8. "In-game Shop" (Out in March) 9. "Alternate Costumes" (You can ONLY "earn" them but CANNOT unlock them until the in-game store comes out... in MARCH!) 10. "Spectator Mode" 11. "Stage Transition" (CANCELLED) 12. "Extra Battles" 13. "Gallery Mode" 14. "ARCADE MODE" (Really?...) Since Online Gameplay is the ONLY feature available for this game as of now... and if you DON'T have Internet?... (Let that sink in for a moment). And... let's not forget about the mandatory PlaySation + ($50) you NEED to play online. $60.00 for the game + $29.99 for the Season Pass + $50.00 (if you don't have PS+) to play online = $140.00 to play a game that has just 1 feature available at launch (Yeah... that does not seem at all fair for most consumers).

Good Fighting game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is not worth the full price because I feel it was shipped incomplete. Right off the bat all the fighters and stages are not available unless you purchase with in game fight points or purchase with your own money. I got a great deal on it for a one day sale so I didn't feel so bad about the purchase. The game itself is what you expect out of a Street Fighter game and thanks to the free story mode update it gives it value to play outside of multiplayer.

Okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Street fighter V gameplay is the best of all the Street fighter games. I would say it's easiest to pull off cool moves in this iteration. However, this game lacks greatly in on disc content. You have to purchase many of your past favorite Street fighter characters. Slight disappointment.

New systems same great series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Street Fighter V introduces a new V trigger system which is unique to each character. Focus attacks are no more and the characters movesets have been expanded a little. Tried the beta was very fun game.

expected better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was exited to buy the game. but when I got to play the story mode sucks beat all individual stories in like 30 min. I hope the update coming up has better to offer otherwise I would regret spending $60 on a game that I played 2x and haven't touched since

Still a work in progress
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's almost complete. Once the June update comes, I think I can finally really recommend this game. The fighting system is top notch and the graphics are gorgeous but it's just not complete yet.
