My son has been waiting a long time for this game. He loves the graphics, old characters and new . It's a blast!

I've always loved street fighter. Been a fan since the genesis version. This game is really good considering there's shoddy story mode. I mean there is a potentially good story drawn out in pictures. It could be good, but some cg cinematic flare would have been more awesome. Besides that, this game is solid.

The reviews all are similar: - overall excellent game - improved/updated mechanics and gameplay control - obviously aesthetically classically amazing graphics and presentation - biggest con: the game is purely for competitive play(as in not for story 1P mode) But it feels like the SNES/Genesis days of unwrapping a SFII : it looks new and shiny but feels so familiar it only takes a few minutes to enjoy the old characters and not long to appreciate the new ones

I love this game! I'm missing some character ultra combos, but I hope they bring them back as a DLC later ...

Perfect to kill time and challenge your self. Great when play online with other people and it is interactive.

This game is great. The graphics and detail are amazing. It's also an easy play. I am glad there aren't too many buttons to press in order to make one move

Characters are all decent. Combos are fun. I'm terrible at fighting games as well and it's easy to pick up

All of this applies to the game at launch. As the title mentions, this game is great if you're just interesting in popping the disk in and go straight into online multiplayer matches. Otherwise, it is very lacking in every other department that every other fighting game has. It does not have an arcade mode, and the story mode is extremely short (can easily be completed in a 2 hour sitting). Although the story mode may not be expected by avid fans, not having an arcade mode can be upsetting to many that casually wants to pick up street fighter V and play. The gameplay itself is top notch and typical for the franchise; however, the previously mentioned short comings will turn many heads away.

This game is exactly what you'd expect from a Street Fighter game... or from all the others honestly. It's a good game with reliable controls that are easy enough to get a grasp of- unless you're big on multiplayer or split-screen with friends, I think this game would be difficult to hold your attention for more than a week... maybe two at most. I picked it up for a discount at around $15 and that barely justified what I paid for it as I popped it into my PS4 maybe three times since buying it.

So when this game launched content was very sparse to say the least....however now there are many more characters and a story mode on its way to download for free in a a matter of weeks. Jump in to the best fighting game around!

Not as good as Ultra Street Fighter IV. Updates will flesh the game out, through either in game credits or by purchasing them with real money. I'm more upset about the online lacking as far as steady connections go, disconnects, long wait times.

This game looks amazing with all the PS4 graphics. If you are into fighting games this is a must have.

This game is awesome for the aspect of being a fighting game, but not having certain characters for example Guile and only being one round every fight instead of 2/3 doesnt make it much fun.

SFV is currently short on single player content, but more has already been announced to be on the way in an update in June, which will add the story mode. As it is, the game is primarily aimed towards those that like playing against other players, and in that regard, the game is fantastic. The gameplay is great and the balance is about as good as you could hope for in a fighting game. They also made the mechanics more accessible for new players this time around, so anybody wanting to learn a fighting game for the first time should give it a shot.

Brings back fun from a classic series, however, buyer beware they have NO arcade mode. Its only an online vs game at this point. They "may" get an arcade mode as DLC but nothing confirmed.

This game brings back memories from it first came out.Bought this game for my kids and we love it

Bought this game for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and he loves it!! One of the best ones yet.

The graphics and mechanics have been improved significantly from Ultra Street Fighter 4, but the number of arenas and characters is too short.

Best Street Fighter in some time. I highly recommend for fans of the series and newcomers alike.
