Suction depends on surface

I used it to film behind the goal at a hockey game. Stuck it on the glass and it was 100% firm during the entire game. Players and pucks hitting the glass didn't phase it. To get the camera to fit up against the glass perfectly, I also bought the swivel mount and attached that and the camera to the suction cup mount. Worked great
