Regarding this unfortunate issue, you are correct in stating temperature can impact its ability to stay on the window, however please keep in mind the suction cup mount was not designed to stay on the window for extremely long periods of time (example: 4-5 days straight). It is recommend to remove it from the window and ensure the surfaces are clean each time you use it. Doing this will help maintain the integrity of the mount and allow to stay on the window during use.

The other item was not Garmin platform, so a little bit of modification was applied to the other item to allow the Garmin to cup to attach. 2 Strips of double sided adhesive and we're back in business with our dashcam. Always appreciate the quality of true Garmin products
