Honestly, I'm not a huge Bomberman fan but decided to pick this title up. In short, multiplayer is a lot of fun, but single player is...well...just ok. Maybe I just suck at Bomberman, but the difficulty seems to ramp up pretty quick. Also, the need to farm for and use in-game currency is incredibly annoying and unnecessary. Despite these issues, I'm still having fun with it. Is it a must have? No, definitely not, but it's still worth considering, even if you're not a fan of the series. (Speaking of which, I wish they'd release a demo of it on the eShop.)

played bomberman when young? this brings back old memories. great game for parties pitting yourself against friends. its not ingenious. should be cheaper for a game that is not that different.

The game is little overpriced but I got it on sale . Overall a great game. My husband and I really enjoyed it . The AI are really smart and it can be hard to win at times but we have a blast playing online . The coop story mode is pretty easy though. Also the bombers are voice overed and have there own personality to fit each character. Overall a fun kid friendly game.

This game had a lot of shortcomings when it launched. However, Konami continued to update and improve the game. It is now a worthy Bomberman game.

I used to play bomberman a lot when I was a kid. This is just a great game! $50 may be too expensive, but I picked it up at a discounted price.

Fun multiplayer game for your Nintendo switch! There's some small issues with online play and the game doesn't run as smoothly as I'd like but it's a blast overall. Highly recommended.

Bomberman was one of the first truly amazing home multi-player experiences with the 4-player adapter on the SNES. It is a glorious return to the Nintendo family for the Bomberman crew which now supports up to 8 people online, in person, or linked through multiple Switch units. Unfortunately, the controls are a little loose, and the computer AI is a little too perfect (except for when it isn't). It's a good diversion with a fun campaign for single players. The voices are a little hokey, but I'm enjoying the experience on the whole.

Bomberman has always been a favorite of mine, so when I saw they were making a new one for the Nintendo Switch I was obviously pretty excited. Early reviews were not very positive though, so I decided to wait and see if it would either get fixed, or go on sale. Luckily, both happened! Konami and the Bomberman R team have released several updates and patches to fix the things early critics didn't like, in addition to new free DLC characters too. Even though I got it at a discounted price, in my opinion the game is more than worth its normal price tag now that all the issues have been addressed and more content has been added to the game.

It’s great if you have friends but if your alone then I would just keep it on the side until some one wants to join . Simple to understand

My kids love to play this game. It also offers online play. I just wish there was more content. Maybe they'll add more later through updates. Overall this is a fun game though.

i like bomber man but the controls some times can have problems going the way you want them to go but that could be hardware problem but the game is fun computer vs can be hard

This game is super fun to play, especially with a bunch of friends. I definitely recommend it if you loved bomberman back in the day.

I grew up playing HOURS of Bomberman on the couch with my brothers, so I'm definitely a bit biased. I find this game fantastic fun and I haven't even played story mode yet. Now I get to sit on the couch with my kids and blow each other up. If you were among those who got a Switch on launch day, this is really the best option available for Multiplayer.

Loads of fun for the entire family. Lots of additional characters and levels you can ‘buy’ using credits you earn while playing.

I would have given it 5 stars but it is not worth $50. It is classic Bomberland and should have been a $20 download game. Fun game for people who like this classic game

A good game that brought me back to my Super Nintendo days of playing Super Bomberman 2. It's a bit frustrating and short on content - grab this when the price drops.

I haven't started playing Story mode yet, but it was fun playing as group. Controlling was hard to get used to in the beginning, but it's fun to play with friends.

This game is quite different. I bought it for around $32. I like it but wouldnt pay much more for it. The game is absolutely simple right out of the box. Story, Battle, Shop, and Options. That is it. The story is awful but the gameplay is fantastic it is a give and take. Konami for once has been really good with offering FREE DLC including maps, and extra characters that are coming soon. A few of them are Pyramid Head from Silent Hill, Simon Bellemont from CastleVania and a guy named Rider? You can play up to 8 players as well. This is a game to get eventually. Exclusive to the switch.
