I've only played a few levels at the pre-release Switch event. It was fun but I'm reviewing based on a few other reviews. I imagine I'll enjoy it but it'll need adjustments.

Exactly what I thought it was going to be, a great multi-player experience. Only downside is price is a little high for what the game is.

Yes, it's a classic brought back to life. Fun, but a little hard at times which can frustrate you, but overall, not a bad game to play.

If you enjoy classic Bomberman games, then you will probably enjoy this game. If you're not familiar with this series, it's probably not the best starting point (especially if you own a Wii U and download virtual console games). The single player campaign is a bit shallow, but multiplayer (both local and online) is a blast (pun intended). It almost feels like there was a lot of content cut from the game before launch. Konami had recently announced free DLC coming in the future, which will be a nice addition.

This is a relaxing game. Not too intense but is still a very fun game. The controls are a wacky around the corners but not too bad.

I'm glad to see bomberman come back for the Nintendo Switch with Co-op and 8-player multiplayer action. The only downside I have to this is that the single player gameplay can get quite boring alone and repetitive. Also, the bosses can be quite challenging, even on the middle setting (Beginner, Veteran, Expert). Overall a great multiplayer game in my opinion, and the story dialog is enjoyable, just a little repetitive.

First, if you are reading this review you must be considering a Nintendo Switch...if you see one available-get it! Two, this is a great game for multiplayer fun. There are some issues, the story mode is a little short but you can play solo or co-op which gives it some replay value. And there is some controller lag on the online multiplayer however the publisher is aware and are working on fixing the issue. This game offers tons of fun in multiplayer mode (online and local) and I recommend it to everyone!

The game might be more excusable for its short comings if it was say 20 dollars. At its current price the game is really only fun with friends, so unless you have a few friends to play with I would hold back because the single player is lacking, online matches are laggy and gameplay is slow and not as precise as previous Bomberman games.

It's fun, especially if you're a fan of the series, but I'd suggest you wait for a price drop; this should be a $40 game at best

This game has old school modes and feel while also having an awesome multiplayer story mode.

The good: it's more Bomberman. The bad: the campaign is short. That said, if you find this game for $20 or less, it's worth it, particularly for Bomberman fans. There's nothing incredibly groundbreaking here for the standard gameplay. You may enjoy the anime-style cutscenes, which adds some depth and story to what Bomberman is, but overall you've already been here before. Enjoy the short ride!

What a fun little game. This is my first time playing bomberman and I digg it. Very cool.

"Bomberman" is a true classic, and this is a great update to the classic formula. I was aware from other reviews that some felt that content was lacking in light of the price point, but I have found plenty to enjoy here for the $39.99 this cost me (thank you, Gamer's Club Unlocked!) and have greatly appreciated the several free DLC updates and tweaks that have arrived since release. If you like "Bomberman," then I feel pretty comfortable asserting that you will be happy with this purchase.

Fun game to play with a group of friends or even by yourself. Fun for the whole family.

It classic Bomberman fun in the multiple games mode like battle mode and now you play as classic konami Characters Simon Belmont from Castlevania and Dracula's too and goemon (mystical ninja ) to name few

While a single player mode is included the multiplayer is definitely the main attraction. With both online and local modes it has the makings to be a great time. Additional characters and stages are unlocked with coins which you get from playing solo, or for winning online matches. Which is all fine and good, but by the end of it the game still feels very light on content for the full asking price.

Play this game as a kid and now it in HD. No complaint one of the best bomber Man game.

It's fun and not overly difficult for a Bomberman. It's not the best or even top 5 best in Bomberman games but it's a welcome addition to the series and you'll have a good time beating the later stages.
