Bomberman R for The Nintendo Switch, coming back from a long period since the last bomberman, but still is a classic character, this game is fun specially if you play it with friends, either local or online, but aside from that the single player is lackluster so this a fun multi-player game.

I bought this game during Black Friday pre-sale for Elite members. It was so convenient, I didn’t have to wait in the line madness and it was delivered on time. My 11 year old son and I enjoy playing this game together in story mode. The story mode segments are perfect length where your attention is kept while keeping the fun. The game is also great when you have friends over since the game can be played by up to 8 players. Controls are super simple that anyone with basic up, down, left, right skills plus a button can play! My 4 year old struggles because she’s not very good with directional on the remote but my 7 year old niece played very well on it. The game concept consists of trying to meet the goals whether it be defeating all the enemies or surviving...etc in story mode. The battle mode you play with friends or the computer until the last one stands and wins. The graphics look very old school, but it is a game that has been around a long time so I’m pretty sure it was on purpose. The only thing I would say that bothered me was in battle mode you only have the option to play 4 players or 8 players, so if 3 people wanted to play it required 3 players plus a computer player. Not a deal breaker, but needless to say when playing with beginners the computer ended up winning a lot. I guess on the flip side it challenges people to get better. Overall my family really enjoys the game. It brought back fun childhood memories for me and created new memories for my son.

How about this game because a friend recommended it to me I was in too sure about it but now we play every day we were happy with it very cool kids would like it also I got it on sale but it worth the 60 bucks that it usually costs

Fun game keeps true to the original games great for parties

Classic game loved the game. A little confusing by the controls but other than that awesome.

A perfect homage to what I remembered and loved as a child on my original playstation. Characters have a little more spunk to them with subtle gameplay changes here and there but the game is still great. 8 players on one tv is a real nice addition that makes things hectic.

I was lucky enough to be able to get 8 joy-cons and 10+ friends to play with. The game was so much fun. it was a bit of chaos at first with 8 of us in the map almost just right next to each others, 4 to 5 tiles away. But, after a while everyone warmed up and it was so much fun and alot of intense moments with revenge turned on. I wish I can do that again with that many friends together sometimes. Notes: some minor differances in this version - can't pick up another player - no heart/life ability - no winning bonus stage/mini games

This game has pretty much the same setup it usually has. It's just new graphics on an old game. I was hoping it had a Bomberman 64 or Bomberman Hero 64 experience. I returned this game back, too expensive for half done game.

Fun game especially with friends. Can get a bit repetitive

So I got Bomberman as I was a huge fan of the older games. It's a great game if you're looking for a multiplayer game, or you're a fan of the original games; that said, it's not like Bomberman 64. You can play up to 8 people in a local network and I believe you can put up to 4 people on just one console which is pretty neat. The single player isn't that great, and there isn't that much content in it when compared to other game's single player modes. The online community is pretty good. There are always people playing and probably will be for a while as there are no other games like this, nor are any like it, coming out anytime soon. If they'd of made single player a little more interesting and fixed the frame rate (it's capped at 30 fps, not that you really notice) I'd giving this 5 stars. Also, the price is about 10 dollars too high IMO (even with GCU). Also note that there is FREE DLC coming out soon, Konami just put out a statement and a few teaser pictures.

It's a cute addition to the Bomberman game series. What you'd expect, although sometimes the angled graphics threw me off. Pretty good, worth it for the multiplayer, storyline, and the <$30 tag. Fun Bomberman play, with cool character additions (Alucard?!).

Aside from the absurd price, the game has control lag issues, poor isometric viewing angles that make it hard to play the single player mode, and lagtastic online play. Wait till Konami fixes the game or until it goes on sale.

If you tend to have a lot of people over to play video games this is a solid option to put in your rotation. That's because it's one of the few games on the Switch that allows for 8 players at once. For that reason alone I'd give this a 5/5, it's led to some hectic game nights!

It’s Bomberman lol. Exactly what you expect from it. Mainly for fans of the franchise tbh

Great video game with graphics and multiplayer quick and easy instructions

This is my first time playing a Bomberman game. Not a bad game, but not great. Beginner difficulty is kind of hard for a beginner of this game, especially the first boss. Definitely not worth the $50 price point. Maybe $20.

I love the game and it's very fun, but the currency is just broken. Every time you beat a story mode level you get 500 coins and a new stage cost 2500, meaning you need to play story mode 5 times to get one of the 8-12 stages. It is still a must buy if you have a lot of friends.

The story mode is fun and silly but very challenging. The graphics are very clean and look fantastic. The multiplayer is classic Bomberman!

Kids love it. Not bad. There could be better graphics.
