Game is fun, but overpriced when not on sale for the content provided.

It got this on sale, but I would've still gotten it if it wasn't. Good game. Its Bomberman, and the Switch allows at least 2 player out of the box with the Joy Cons. What's not to like?

Its a fun game but it doesn't have a WOW factor to it. A bit disappointed. Let it go on sale before purchase definitely not worth full price.

After having played the original Bomberman and being a fan of original game, this game definitely delivers a whole new perspective and takes game to a whole new level. Highly recommend.

If you're a fan of the old Bomberman, this is basically the same with added "missions." Don't expect anything amazing, but it is an entertaining game for friends and family.

Bomberman, in my opinion, has always been about fun local multiplayer experiences. The story mode in this game is nothing special, but definitely a welcome campaign for those who don't have video game playing friends. The updates have made this game much better and the fact that free character DLC is coming is a testament to the care that Konami is putting into fan service.

The last time I played this was on the super NES, loved it back then and love it now. Very simple to play and simple to pick up for non gamers. Having the ability to play 8 players locally on 1 switch is a huge plus (You need to be in the game to connect all 8 joy cons as the switch's main screen only allows 4 connected). 8 players gets very hectic but creates lots of laughs.

Fun multiplayer game. I miss the nintendo 64 bomberman style game however. Bomberman 64 and Bomberman Hero were the best! This game is reminiscent of the super nintendo bomberman games.

Super Bomberman R is the game that Switch needed at its beginning. Quick plays and lots of action with your friends in a very entertaining game that brings back the nostalgia.

The new bomberman for the switch brings back many memories. Not only does it feel like the old school game but it has incorporated new ideas and concepts that enhances the game play.

If you love classic games, this will give you many memories from your childhood... Bomberman is back, with online play and a whole new single player campaign with animated cut scenes!

I've been playing Bomberman with my brother since we first got it on the SNES and it remains as ever a fun mini game that leads to a lot of rage, The Switch version works okay I guess, but I'm not really sure the series has evolved enough to justify the price. You can just play any of the much older titles and still have just as much fun. The amount of enjoyment you get out of this will depend on if you play this with friends or not, I can't imagine anyone caring enough about this game to play the terrible AI opponents.

Don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT Bomberman game and this is coming from a fan of the series, but it's NOT worth full price. Wait til its down to $20 like I did lol

This has been a great game to follow some of the older games of Bomberman. It requires some tinkering with the settings but other than that it is a fun game, especially on Co-Op.

Never played bomber man growing up but a family member got it for us as a gift because it was a "classic" to his childhood. It is a very fun group game where you can use a single joy-con to play. So 4 joy-cons (just 2 pairs) can be 4 players. One does not have to be "good" at video games to win while playing in group play because of its arcade like style. Fun Game!

Bomberman R is what the basic Bomberman has always been. It has a fun story line and cool perspective changes. I personally like the local multiplayer for both story and vs modes.

Great little silly party game for your group that isn't Mario. Nobody else I knew owned this title, it added some diversity to our game collection.

Purchased this game on sale, only way to recommend it since it is too barebones to shell out at full price. It’s a fun game with friends but only buy at sale.

I haven't played Bomberman since the NES days. This is the same basic principles but with a story and new mechanics such as new weapons, enemies and multi dimensional levels.

This is by no means a bad game, but by no means a great game as well. The single player campaign can be beat within a few hours on easy or normal. It isn't too complicated at all. Konami has been doing updates on the game which is nice as it fixing issues I had with the game originally. I did get this game on a daily deal and with discounts that is the only reason I decided to get this. If not on sale it would be hard to tell someone to get unless then have 3 other friends to play with or just love Bomberman.
