I was one of the lucky ones able to get the Nintendo Switch in store and this is the one game my son requested for me to get and he has really enjoyed playing

I'm a longtime and big fan of Bomberman and this game is rather mediocre. The 3D view makes it difficult to discern the correct angles, especially when going up and down a level. The controls lag. There are many missing options that are present in older games. You can tell Konami rushed this out the door to meet the Switch release date. They definitely phoned it in. Maybe worth $20 at most.

the more people you got to play with this game the funner it is. Plus it makes things really crazy and wild with bombs going off everywhere. It takes some strategies and coop with your teammates to not blow each other up. I got this game mainly because it plays a bunch of people on the same screen at once and not split screens.

This game is pretty fun. I purchased it more for nostalgia than anything. It is very kid oriented but still fun if your looking to relive some fun from N64.

When I say 3 stars, I don't mean this as a bad thing, by any stretch of the imagination. When you get a Bomberman title, you're buying it for the replay value in the multiplayer - and that's where all the stars are in this review. It's fun, it's multiplayer, and you can take it with you where you go. The campaign is surprisingly amusing, but it isn't going to take your breath away like the new Zelda game. But that's what I was expecting, and I got exactly what I expected.

I bought this for my son. He likes it. He says he likes that its 4 plsyers and that it has different levels. My 6 yr old grandson plays it with him.

Picked up this game on sale. Pretty fun game. Haven't played many of the Bomberman series so I can't really give an opinion on how it stacks up.

Its nice to see they have expanded the bomberman series, only downfall is that its harder to move your character around since you see the game in a 3rd view

Very fun puzzle based game. I’ve always been a fan of Bomberman since the SNES version and this latest rendition does not disappoint! If you like puzzle and strategy games, you will thoroughly enjoy this game.

This game had its charm but I ended up losing interest in it over time. The gameplay is very basic Bomberman. I figured there would be more bells and whistles being on the Switch, but I found the gameplay to not be very deep and at times borderline boring. I won't call it pointless if you really like the Bomberman formula, but the main draw here is being able to take the game on the go. Otherwise, there isn't much here to bring you back after you complete it.

It has been a while since we got a solid Bomberman game and this is in. Not too many bells and whistles, but what is here is definitely a solid experience.

Bought this game to play online with some friends initially. Online playing with people is very fast paced and can get frantic at times, but this adds to the excitement of the game. The story of the game is a fun little comic, but it is basic. Single player story mode is very challenging and can get you to just stop playing sometimes, but it is exciting when you do finally beat the bosses. All in all i would recommend this game as a fun friend game tonplay with someone.

My first jump into the Bomberman series has been exciting. The short single player is not the main course but rather an appetizer for the mayhem in multiplayer. With lots of unlocks getting coins will be a huge priority to purchase stages and characters. This game could have easily been in the eshop for a better price. Fans of the franchise im sure will have no problem justifying the purchase. If youre looking for a multiplayer switch title at launch you have it here.

The story is alright but the game really shines in the multiplayer. Definitely a solid game to pick up if you can get it on sale.

If you like Bomberman it might be worth buying, BUT be sure you're a Bestbuy Gamers Club Unlocked member so you get a discount, because it's not worth $50. Konami released a patch that improves the controls a lot, so it's not the disaster it was at launch. But it's also not the best Bomberman ever made, which is a shame in 2017. NOTE: recommended, but ONLY if you do some research about the game first and are sure you want it. Consider waiting for sales if you can.

It’s a good game to play with friends in the battle mode. The story mode is very difficult and there are no rewards after completing each level for each world. I found it very hard to complete all levels to complete a world with no saving points on each completed level. If you die you have to start over again. It’s still fun and the graphics are nice.

Bomberman is wild fun my g. I only bought this because a friend said she played it as a kid, so I caught the deal thinking it'd be a good nostalgia trip. Little did I know I'd be sucked deep into the bomberworld. The story is corny for adults, probably good for kids, but the bombing is top notch.

Very well demonstrated arts, graphics, easy to play.

This is a great retro throwback to one of my favorite series. Multiplayer shines here and story mode, while stupid, has a lot of variation in the levels.

With a limited number of launch games to choose from. This is a worthy addition to the library. I never got into the series before this title. Enjoyable
