I was missing a key music legend in my collection, a historic and monumental Hard Rock figure who single handedly changed the world of Rock & Roll for the better. This legend is Janis Joplin. I can now celebrate Janis Joplin's bluesy, soulful, and beautiful sandpapered voice anytime I want. I have always and forever will respect and admire Janis Joplin and her music. The doors she left opened for todays female Rock stars is an immeasurable contribution, this is how she changed the world of Rock & Roll forever. My favorite track here is "Me And Bobby McGee", the rhythmic atmosphere of the song, it's lyrics, arrangement and the added softness to Janis's vocals wins me over every listen. "Piece Of My Heart" and "I Need A Man To Love" are overwhelmingly wonderful songs that I adore from Janis. Please do not hesitate if you are looking to buy "Super Hits" Janis Joplin, it is an ideal musical addition to any music collection.
