Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Your getting all 3 games in one game, and the price is great. Mario has always had many great games, and I enjoy many of the classics which I know many others will too. Anybody of thinking of buying this game should buy it soon since it is a limited run game.

Not-so-special Edition
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The games play fine and they live up to my expectations, but can't help but feel that the whole package feels soulless and a tad scraped together. There really aren't any extras or improvements so I can't really say it's completely worth the 60 bones I paid. Passable I guess but I can see myself selling this in a few weeks. Only really worth it if you haven't played maybe 2 out of the 3 games in the package

Essential Mario Classics, Now on the Switch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With 2020 being the 35 Anniversary of Super Mario Bros, it was the perfect year to release this anthology of games. Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy is a great deal, especially if you don't already own these games. The gameplay and grapics are mostly just as you remembered. If I could have done one thing different for the game I would have included save states. The games are great, but 64 especially is showing some signs of age with the camera movement. This means that often the player may lose a life simply because they over estimate or under estimate a jump or because Mario doesn't do what they need him to, such as grabbing onto a ledge. That's just one nitpick, however and the games are still essential Classics. All in all, 3 of the best Mario games for $60 is a great deal. Be sure to get it now, as this product will be discontinued in March.

Must buy collection of 3D Mario Games.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great compilation of all the fantastic Mario games in one great package that you can take with you. This is a must get if you own a Switch and you enjoyed Super Mario Odyssey. Even if you played them before, they are now portable which is great.

Great games but the price could be better!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The is a great way to revisit some of the classics. Super Mario 64 may be a little dated graphically but it's gameplay is timeless. Sunshine finally being available for the first time outside of the Gamecube is great and having all of these 3D classics portably is also a nice perk. It should really be $40 for what you are actually getting though, considering that these games are quite old now.

Old School Fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a very fun game. reminiscent of my N64 childhood and then the teenage years of the gamecube. I'm glad Nintendo decided to put 3 games together and sell it for $60 instead of one game for $50. its limited so that is what made me buy it right away.

Great compilation, wish it had Galaxy 2 though
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would of been perfect if it also had SMG2 but alas. Upscaling effort was done pretty well, all the games look clean. Inverting the camera controls for 64 and Sunshine is probably the biggest flaw, especially since you can't remap or change this if you wanted to. Creates a very weird experience if you've played the originals a lot. For messing with camera and not including Galaxy 2, this gets 4 stars.

Great game!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The minute the game loaded, I felt a rush of nostalgia. I remember my childhood of playing all three of these games. My favorite is Super Mario Sunshine and just playing it over again is amazing and I can’t believe it’s been so long since I played it.

A 3D nostalgia to remember.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a great Mario collection for Mario fans old and new to enjoy. Choose one of three classic 3D Mario titles. In Super Mario 64, enter through mysterious paintings and soar through the skies as Wing Mario, walk underwater as Metal Mario or walk through walls as Vanish Mario to find all the power stars to save Princess Peach from Bowser. In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario’s vacation goes horribly wrong as an imposter Mario framed him by messing up Isle Delfino. Now it’s up to Mario and a water device name F.L.U.D,D. To wash up the mess so Mario can have a relaxing vacation. In Super Mario Galaxy, Mario rockets through space saving Princess Peach once again from Bowser’s galactic plans. Each game are memorable and controls great. As a big Super Mario fan, I recommend picking this up to celebrate Super Mario’s 35th anniversary.

Excellent Compilation
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Three excellent Mario games in one package. Although some of the controls on Mario 64 have not aged well, this is by far, a cleaner graphical version. Mario Galaxy is also one of the best Mario games ever made. Sunshine was better than I remembered.

Great collection but expected more handheld
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So im sure everyone is excited to see these classics hit for the Switch and ready on the go. But i expected more gor a hand held experience gameplay. As we all know for now, Super Mario 64 has a great graphics improvement on the Switch. It still relieves our classic memories from these games as well. Mario Sunshine looks beautiful and gameplay is awesome as well. But Mario Galaxy apparently needs to be played more on the bigger TV. Its terrible that Nontendo did not manage to add more gaming experience with Galaxy as a handheld game though. You need to take off your Joy Cons in order to play fully Galaxy. This should have given players the option to play only with buttons or joy con detachments. You cant play this game on the Switch Lite fully without buying an additional Joy Con controller to play this on the go. Terrible investment from Nintendo i felt like it was still rushed to be put out like this. I might as well still play Galaxy on the Wii Console still. Plus i wished Galaxy 2 was added to the collection as well or as a DLC game. The graphics and sounds is awesome plus the soundtrack collection too. Well if you font own any of these mario classics i would recommend picking it up today or ordering it online. Its too bad Nintendo has mentioned that this game will only be in retail stores until March 31 2021. Unless Nintendo changes this in the upcoming months before next year. Happy gaming Everyone!

A great buy if you've never owned/played!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A decent port of three classics from my childhood. Though Mario 64 is just a port.. with no way to change view options and such. It's truly just great to play these great games again Having never played Mario Sunshine getting to play it wherever I like is great and it turns out I love how it plays on the Switch. It looks great too certain things are updated but it plays well and like Mario games are supposed to be its fun! Then there's Mario Galaxy, Still as excellent as it was on the Wii minus the motion controls. But whether you use the Joy-cons or pro controller or some other 3rd party this game is still the joy it was when it was originally released. The sound, visuals and tearjerker story are still present and accounted for. Highly suggest this buy if you're any kind of Super Mario fan or just enjoy plat-former games.

It's a Mario!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great to have three more Mario games on my Switch. This collection is a great value for Mario fans and it's the only way to play Mario SunShine outside of emulation or Gamecube. This is a must-have for any Nintendo Switch collection.

3 for one? Yes please!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fact Nintendo would release a bundle this good for the price of one game is a fantastic deal I highly recommend this set of games before it’s gone not likely to get another deal this sweet again from Nintendo!

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3 unbelievable games for a fair price. Camera is still frustrating in Mario 64 but the charm of the game easily overtakes it. Sunshine is top 5 underrated game of all time. And Galaxy is a masterpiece. Stop thinking about it. Buy this.

Amazing 3D Mario experiences
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get 3 amazing 3d Mario games, for a total of $60. my only minor complaint is that i feel like galaxy 2 should've been included as well, but it isn't that great of a deal breaker. if you haven't played these games before, $60 is a steal.

A great collection with minor dissapointments
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Look Nintendo, I'm grateful. But would it have killed you to at least done some sort of remaster to these games? Just a little. And also the fact that the gamecube controller is not optimized for Mario Sunshine is a complete failure. That said, the fact that I can play three of my favorite games on the go and on a current gen system makes this game all the more worth it to buy.

Cool
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game coming back from the good times is something marvelous and sick to ever hitback again during the times of not good days, feels good to play an old graphiced game that any other young person would want yet can't have because this time, Nintendo 64 backfired good, Going through gameplay as an adult now feels trippy for whoever Bossman has experienced this one time only game, Makes me feel like a superhero, nay writing about the young people now feelings. Adult, real man oldschool new generation from backthen, older people that understand the love for this game, now have a game to play in life where nothing is happening that is good. These times are not fun or good, this game feels funny going through again, very nice take of time this gives, a renewance in generation for adults only, as it always should be.
