Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

The game packaged itself feels kinda rushed, lack luster of a UI at the main select screen.. Just that really, otherwise the games themselves do good! Either revisiting, the novelty to have’em portably, or if you haven’t fully played either Sunshine or 64. Delivery was at release day earlier then usual(11:30AM) so thank you for that~

These games still hold up years later. It's a quick update, not a total rebuild of the game, so don't expect anything new. That is what is also good about this. It could use Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well, and I wish you could invert the controls in Super Mario Sunshine, but this is still great for newcomers and for nostalgia alike.

Knocking this down a star due to its limited time availability. That said, this is a good collection. You get 3 games in one package and all of them are good. It's just a shame it isn't going to be readily available for the switch's entire lifespan but it is a good deal if you can get it.

This product was everything they advertised. These games are icons rereleased in a collection so a new generation can enjoy them. The only thing to know is that this is a collection NOT a remake. If you are expecting a FF7 or RE2 style remake you will be disappointed. This product is a collection to bring the games to a new system and upgrade them a little bit but ultimately keep them in tact and they are. Personally I think it's amazing and keeps them feeling just like they did back in the day while still being far smoother and better looking. There are a lot of bad reviews from people who don't understand what this game is but if you go into it knowing that it is a collection it's definitely worth the buy.

A blast from the past. Its nice to have access to these classics on new hardware. Portable for the first time as well. Not only are 3 games included but also the complete music tracks from those games.

Great deal! 3 games in 1 for the same price. Classic Mario games that were past loves, definitely pick this up if you havent played any of 1 of them, or pick it up if you enjoy the enhanced graphics.

These are three classic games, but Mario 64 and to a lesser extent Sunshine kind of show their age on the switch. I don't mind that the games weren't remastered, I still think they look fine, but the controls(especially the camera) are just so frustrating to use. I wish Nintendo modernized them in some way at least.

I grew up with 64 and Sunshine, and so its great to be able to play them again. They are higher resolution and portable which is great. Also there is Galaxy, I haven't played that game before but I have never heard a bad review for it. This is really 3 great games for essentially 20 dollars a piece. I know some people are mad about the decisions that Nintendo made in regard to this collection because they could have been cheeper or remakes or whatever. Those are valid considerations but for me it was a no-brainer. I love these games and I am happy to have them again. If you like 3d platformers or Mario in general you will love these. If you are a tech or graffic person you may be a bit disappointed.

Best game for the switch if you are a longtime mario fan. This is a must buy for any switch owner, the game is well worth the 60 dollar price for having 3 generations of mario goodness

I would honestly give it a 4.5/5 because I can’t though it gets a 5. Nothing is remastered which is why I would take the .5 away. But you get the classics all on one game. Can’t get better than that!

Just a blast to play our favorite games on the switch. we started with sunshine. To be honest, the controls for easily 3D games are difficult, but it’s the same deal as when i play them on game cube. Graphics are cleaned up. I would have liked them to have given an option for modern controls. I would easily buy again.

Really can't beat a collection of 3 Mario classics for the price of one. Not to mention you get to play the 3D Mario that started it all, and surprisingly it holds up well. Just a fantastic value!

Obviously all 3 games are great and I'm excited to play them on the Switch. They're all just basically ports, nothing new, but honestly it's well worth the $60 if you haven't played these games yet.

A fun nostalgic trip through Mario's best years. The graphic updates are enough to enjoy the ride while not ruining the look of what the games looked like when they were released. The controls of Mario 64 (and camera) are not the best, wish they improved that, but it is manageable and fun. Sunshine is fun, wish it got more improvements, and Galaxy is a really fun experience. You don't need Gyro controls for Galaxy (although it is there if you need them), which is great for very casual players. Overall I had fun, wish it had more improvements and wish they added Galaxy 2, but it is still a fun bundle for all ages to enjoy.

Honestly for only 64 that would be over 100 bucks and here you get 64 sunshine a game that hasn’t been ported to any other console besides GameCube and Galaxy the Wii exclusive it’s truly a deal.

Great value since each game seperate would cost more than them combined like this. Only issue i have is the controls for the switch on mario 64 seem a little sluggish but overall still enjoyable

This game brings me back, and some. I can't tell you how many hours I put into Super Mario 64 as a kid and never being able to collect all the stars. I also never had Mario Sunshine so it's great being able to give it some gameplay, even though I find it to be super frustrating at times. I never played galaxy before and I'm really looking forward to playing it once I'm done with 64 and Sunshine. Nintendo also has this weird thing that they're only selling this game for a limited time and the hard copies sold out quick. Definitely worth getting in the hard version since I think it'll be somewhat "valuable" in the future. And by somewhat I mean from 59.99 going up to like $80 lol
