Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

Ok. Let’s begin. This is a trio of 3D Mario games spanning multiple generations. It gives you one of the highest rated games of all time and boots the graphical resolution to modern standards. I’ve never played any of these games. I always wanted to play Mario 64, but could get past the Nintendo 64’s “blurry” textures. This changes all that. Now I can play theses games wherever I go and enjoy them in HD. I own Super Mario Odyssey and you can see where the original engine and concepts where born. My son and I are enjoying this “collection”. It’s kind of like a history lesson. Only an immensely fun one. I definitely recommend that you take the plunge.

The games are good overall, but the controls are a bit dated and the remasters could’ve been an amazing opportunity to redefine them and add quality of life improvements.

Great game!! I have had a lot of fun playing this game! The controls for Super Mario Sunshine is a bit different but it’s still fun and great call back to classic Mario games.

I never owned a Nintendo 64 or GameCube so this was my first opportunity to play these games - and what an opportunity it is! Mario 64 was definitely the weakest of the three offerings but still received some graphical updates. Mario Sunshine is a blast and has been updated to look like a modern game. I have no completed the third and final game in the package, Mario Galaxy, but it looks absolutely gorgeous and feels like a modern game (instead of a game from 2-3 console generations ago). If you like 3D Mario games, or have never had a chance to play these games when they originally launched, you can’t go wrong buying this remastered trilogy!

All three games are just super. Brings back memories and replaying them again on the go is a plus. I could never get tired of playing them all. 100 recommend

This game is just art. A blast from the past. Games play beautifully and they are nostalgic as heck. If you own a Switch and don't have this, do yourself a favor and get it.

Classic Mario games in HD glory. If you loved Mario 64, be aware the camera is still wonky but game still looks great. Sunshine looks most improved. Galaxy is amazing as always.

This is a great set of games for those Mario fans who never played the Nintendo 64, GameCube or Wii games of the past. It’s a must pick up because it’s only available until March 31, 2021. Unfortunately if you have played these games before and still own the originals there’s not much to come back to these games unless you want them on Switch and are a game collector. The reason for that is that there is not remakes or remastered versions in this compilation. Games are slightly brighter... upscale to HD and small updates to textures. The controls are revamped slightly to welcome the switch controls for Mario Sunshine and Motion controls for Mario Galaxy. Mario 64 is an awesome game but that’s where you see the game age most. Graphics are you guessed it, 64 bit. Camera angles are very frustrating and Mario does handle as well as we know him to be in later iterations year down leading to Mario on switch. Still if you can get pass those flaws especially if you never played any of the games here... go get it now!

The games are very fun and I wanted my 16 year-old son to experience the games I played as a teenager. The only negative is that he did not like the controls on Super Mario 64. The camera control drove him crazy. Overall, he has enjoyed playing the games.

While this game is not perfect and contains its fair share of internet controversy, it's still a collection of 3 fantastic Mario games. It is a bit pricey and the limited availability is questionable, but if you're a fan of Mario games and haven't played these in awhile, they're worth revisiting.

This is a great collection of Super Mario Bros. games that showcases the generations perfectly from N64, to Gamecube, and ending on the Wii. For the average consumer, this is really a must buy. I understand long time fans have some quirks about Nintendo not really adding any new content or quality of life additions to these games, but they are still enjoyable none-the-less. Overall, I believe this game collection should be bought by any Nintendo fan. At the price, you really are getting your bang for your buck, and this game collection will be discontinued by Nintendo in March of 2021, so I would definitely pick it up before then.

I never played any of the old super Mario games and I figured I may as well pick this up since it’s essentially $20 per game. I’ve been having a great time playing these classics!

It's amazing to be able to play these classics on the go now. Some of the little quirks are still with the game like with Mario 64's camera but overall these games still hold up.

All of the games are great. Compared to buying any of them used for their respective consoles, it's a great value. It is just disappointing that more effort wasn't put into updating them to modern standards. Still a better and more convenient way to play them, but I would have liked more effort.

A heavy dose of nostalgia in one little game. I’m a little disappointed these are emulators rather than full fledged remasters, but it’s still an unbeatable package. Game on.

It's nice to know that these are all great games that aren't just fueled by nostalgia alone. Mario 64 did have it's quirks with it's in hitboxes, but it's still fun regardless! Great to go back and relive my fever dream of a childhood memories over playing these games relentlessly. Mario Sunshine is more beautiful than I remember, and ridiculously high quality for the time that it came out in. I appriciate it's vibrance and unique game mechanics And Galaxy looks as phenomenal as I remember it. All great adventures with nice replayability. And the best part is you can take them anywhere. Highly recommended for old and new players!

Good collection that lacks in a few areas, especially for an anniversary collection, but overall, this is the first time Sunshine has ever been released. So, I think that alone is worth the price plus you get 2 other games that are a couple of the greatest games ever made.

Awesome game(s). Not the ideal port for Mario 64, but the kids won’t know the difference and most regular games won’t either. Galaxy and Sunshine are fun games and I would love to see additional games from the 64 released on the switch as physical games on the future. Good buy, lots of fun.
