Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

Here we go!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s not perfect (watch the Digital Foundry YouTube vid on it), but it’s more than good enough. It’s great to be able to carry around M64 in particular!

Absolute Must Own
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely a must have for any Mario fan. Mario 64 was my favorite Mario game growing up. I was actually the last Mario game I played as a kid. Now, I can share playing all three with my children.

Great little collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could Nintendo have done more to make this better? Yea, they could have. Specially with Mario 64, they could have made adjustments to the Camera system and playing in widescreen would have been great. However, they didn't do that. This is still a great little collection of games to have on the Switch. All the games, while they could have looked better, they look great. They are still a lot of fun and I'm glad I can now play Super Mario Galaxy without having to use motion controls. I'm still deducting a few points because while it is nice, I can't simply let go of the fact that it could have been so much better had they put a bit more effort into it. I mean, let's face it, you could emulate all these games and make them look better for years now. The original Super Mario All Stars had a lot of changes from the original games, so it's not crazy to expect similar effort for this one.

Great collection of classic games
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one came out of nowhere, and I love it. Love all three of these games, and this collection is a great place to revisit these classics. Great companion piece to Super Mario Odyssey, recommended!

Good Collection Overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Mario 3D All Stars is a good Mario package for the Switch. It has 3 classic games. All are a bit outdated, but this is the best way to get them on the Switch, especially since this package is going away after March 2021. There are better Mario games out there, but this is a good addition to a collection.

Amazing fun!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's nostalgia galore for Mario fans, with three wacky games to play! Unfortunately the camera in 64 still fights you and Sunshine likes to glitch out, but it's to be expected from straight up ports.

Great collection. Nintendo could have done more.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great collection of games. It’s a shame Nintendo didn’t bother to fully remaster it or do something uniquely special, but the games still hold up in 2020. It’s great to see how unforgiving some of these games were and does make for a nice Mario challenge. Really wish they would have reworked the cameras though.

Mario Nostalgia
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Growing up with 8 and 16-Bit eras took me a minute to acclimate to Mario 64. Ironically, Mario Galaxy is probably my favorite in the series. This compilation is a must for any fans of the series.

solid collection for those who haven't played
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only ever played galaxy, so it was nice to be able to try out 64 and sunshine. I really didn't like 64, but the other two games more than make up for it. Yes, it's terrible that it's a lazy job, missing galaxy 2, and disappearing in a few months, but it works for me. If you don't think it'll work for you, definitely pass.

Great introduction to new players
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are 3 of the most influential games of the past 30 years. Although they are all not complete remakes and some extra work could be done in particular games (Mario 64 camera issues) the ability to play all 3 in one bundle is fantastic. Outside of minor gripes this is a great collection for everyone, young and old to own

Nostalgic
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bundle is great! All of the best games in one. Each game will make you feel really nostalgic and bring as much joy to you like in the 90s and early 20’s. I would recommend this purchase.

Good ol' nostalgia
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've played the games before, then you know what to expect. All three games are fun despite being over 10 years old. Only thing is that the graphics haven't been optimized to be any sharper than they were since the original consoles' releases. That said, you won't be disappointed if you enjoy the Mario franchise.

Taking me back to all nighters drinking Surge!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great product for some 90’s kids nostalgia. I have loved playing these older titles in the 3D Mario universe again and again, this title is awesome for giving me access to them on the Switch.

Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, two out of three ain’t bad. Mario 64 is a great game. It can be difficult to control at times but it is mostly a fun and challenging game. With Super Mario Galaxy, I had a smile on my face the whole time I played it. Pure joy from start to finish. Both of these games offer fun platforming challenges and move sets that are fun to try to master. I am not skillful enough of a player to bounce around levels like the people that have mastered these games but I still found it fun to try. And I was able to 100% both of the games. While 64 and Galaxy are fun, I found Super Mario Sunshine inspired a couple of other ‘f’ words. We’ll just stick to one of those words for this review. ‘Frustrating!’ I often struggled to get from one place to the other and kept waiting for the game to click for me. I eventually gave up. I would be so frustrated that sometimes even successes were unsatisfying. I gave this collection four stars because 64 and Galaxy alone make this a must buy. But I also realize that in more skillful hands, Sunshine can be, and has been for many people, an enjoyable game. Have fun!
