Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

If you don't like these games, it's simply because you haven't played them! If you can still find a copy buy it, and love it!

Bought this because I’ve never played the originals and I heard this physical copy would be somewhat limited. Haven’t even opened it yet. Highly recommend!

Mario 64 port could have had a bit more effort put it. I'd like to see that and Sunshine brought to 60fps. Mario Galaxy 2 not being included is also odd. Hope they add it later. Overall, the game is good because the 3 in the collection hold-up on their own so well.

3 classic Mario titles, can’t go wrong with any of these, well except if you expect to play these perfectly without emulation issues.

Barebones Mario but Three Classic Games

the quality of the 3 games included. Each is a masterpiece and handles well. In terms of compilation quality, this is pretty poor. There are no options for the video. There is no ability to remap buttons. The menus are super basic and offer one special feature: soundtracks. There's no concept art, interviews, scans of the instruction manual, box art, basically anything other collections have done far better than this effort from Nintendo. If you go in expecting no bells and whistles, you shouldn't feel surprised by the lack of bonus content. Essentially, you'll learn more from YouTube videos delving into the history of these games than you will from the compilation itself.

Mario Galaxy is the only game on here done well. I did have the joycons aimer for star bits shooting get way off-centered while playing. I switched to the pro-controller and I was surprised how well the motion controls work with it. The controls are laggy on Mario 64, and it's not upgraded widescreen view. Finally, the Flood Controls on Mario Sunshine are inverted from the original so it's very awkward aiming. If these issues were fixed and Mario 64 had a true widescreen view I would give this 5 stars. I expect better from Nintendo, this feels like a cash grab for game collectors.

Good value for games that will probably go back into the “vault for another decade” Controls for Galaxy have translated really well to switch. Knock off a star because they really didn’t do much to the games other than make them playable. Nothing to visuals.

It's all the games on one console. You can easily emulate all these games on your PC, but it's much easier to have them on switch. It doesn't feel quite the same without the original controllers, but it is what it is. The price does seem steep for emulations tho

It's 3 of the greatest 3D Mario games ever. Not to mention that Sunshine is in 1080p AND 16:9!!! Galaxy is in 1080p AND 60fps!!

These are classic games and get this if they are beloved favorites for you or if you have missed out on these before. It would have been nice to have these fully redone rather than just ported to the switch

It's great to have all these games in one spot, but more work could've been put in to justify the $60 price tag. When games like THPS 1+2 are better ports for 2/3 the price, it makes me wonder why I paid $60 for a simple resolution bump.
