Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

This is a fun collection of games to play, especially Mario 64. The only complaint I have is that Galaxy has some wonky controls that I can’t get a good grasp on

I didn't believe the news when I heard that Nintendo was re-releasing the classing Mario 3D games in one bundle and only for a limited time. With this also being a collectors' item, the actual content was improved to make better use of the Nintendo Switch hardware. The result is fresh new experiences of Mario games that are decades old. Can't wait to relive some of the classics!

Aside from the first game not filling up the Whole screen VERICALLY (horizontally is underStandable because of the aspect ratio at the time) these are 3 great games. Sunshine has been upgraded to widescreen. Controls work good! Get it if u want 3 awesome 3D Mario games. NO ADDITIONAL DOWNLOAD REQUIRED!! Aside from any patches that might come out, all 3 games are on the cartridge!

I can’t recommend this collection enough. These are arguably some of the best 3D games that always innovated with the release of each new console generation. It was a blast playing through Super Mario 64 to get all 120 stars, it was nostalgic exploring the island of Delfino again in Sunshine and it was a mind blowing experience to play Galaxy for the first time. Just get it.

Great way to relive some classic Mario titles from your past. These games will keep you busy to replay or first time playing for days & days seeing that you are getting 3 games. Mario 64 is a very long game in itself. Highly recommend picking this up cause it won’t be available forever & you’ll wish you had it in your collection later on like all the other Mario games.

I'll preface this by saying I dislike Sunshine. Clearly a rushed product since Nintendo is in a drought this year and needed something besides Animal Crossing. 64 is largely the same game from 1996 (version used is a Japan-only release from '98 that fixes some bugs and exploits). No widescreen support--the game is in its original 4:3 aspect ratio. The poor draw distance and pop in are glaring, as is Mario's weird turnaround animation and slippery feel. Camera is clunky as well. This game would have greatly benefited from a remake, ala Crash and Spyro. I haven't played Sunshine and don't want to since I hate it, but I imagine it's unchanged from it's 2002 release. The version in this emulation is the (inferior) PAL version. The game has been modified to run at 60hz (original PAL ran at 50hz), leading to performance issues not present in the original GCN release. Debug cubes are present in certain areas. On a positive note, the game is upscaled to 1080p and has widescreen support. Galaxy is the most playable game here and the one to emerge more or less the same as it was on its debut console. It too has been upscaled to 1080p. Overall, this compilation is very overpriced for what you get and the limited release is an invitation for scalpers, which Switch has been struggling with pretty much since release. Still, you have good games here...at least, two of them are.

If u own them then own them again if you don't own these games then you 100% need them. Mario sunshine is so under rated and with the new patch u can use a gamecube controller. Mario64 and Galaxy don't really need to say much there. They over hyped them forsure with the limited availability but once they are gone you'll be kicking yourself if you didn't grab a copy.

My newest (and oldest!) favorite game!!! I was obsessed with Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy when those came out originally so I knew I had to have this game! I’ve never played Mario Sunshine, so trying to get the hang of it but it is so fun!!! I like having the three games in one so I can mix it up if I need to to break the monotony of playing the same game! Huge fan!!!

These games are some of the most well-regarded classics, and having them on Switch is great. These are the games as they were, bearing some graphical updates. As a collection, the presentation is a little lacking. All that is included is each game alongside its soundtrack. No other bonus materials celebrating Mario's 35th Anniversary are here, just the games and music.

Nostalgia at its finest. Nothing has changed. Just a little graphical update and made the controls more Switch friendly. If you loved any of these Mario titles, this buy is worthwhile. If you have never played any of these titles, this buy is worthwhile. The only reason you might not want to buy this, is if you're not a Mario fan, in which case, why are you reading this?

Three amazing games in one. Hours and hours of pure 3D platforming goodness. Two of the games are enhanced for wide-screen. Not sure why Nintendo couldn't fix the third. It's a shame these games weren't fully remastered either. There is a music player that plays all the tunes from all three games for fans of the wonderful soundtracks. Can't believe Mario Galaxy 2 wasn't included. This is perfect for players who never experienced these games over the past 25 years. The price would have been perfect at under $50. Grab a copy while you can because they're gone after March, 2021.

3 great games that are definitely worth the $60. Gotta love those Bestbuy reward points too, as I had enough to take $20 off - woot woot!! Back to the games. My wife is beside herself that she gets to play Super Mario Sunshine again, and I'm eager to finally try it. Mario64, an oldie but goodie that I'm looking forward to replaying. I'm just pumped about this in general.

Having 3 of the greatest Mario's in one package is great. Though it is missing Mario Galaxy 2 it's still a great package and all games are fun to play. The games play great have been enhanced here and there, though Mario 64 could of used a little more updating, but overall getting 3 of the greatest games ever in one package ain't a bad deal. A must but if you ask me.
