Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

The game is really fun it brings back memories plus it is 3 games for the price of one so it’s worth it but the controls are kinda weird nice game though.

For those that played 3D mario games growing up, this is a nostalgia trip! Each of these games were massive hits at the time. I did not play a lot of 3DS and therefore haven't replayed Super Mario 64 in years, so reliving the difficult yet fun levels is awesome! On the negative side, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine were only slightly upgraded. On the other hand Super Mario Galaxy has gotten a decent upgrade and plays well without the original motion controls. I am thoroughly enjoying myself and its well worth the money to own all of these games on your Switch.

I still remember the first time playing super Mario 64 on N64. It was revolutionary when it was first released. Playing the game now brings a lot of good memories. It still holds up fairly well though the camera can get quite annoying. The game should have been widescreen also. The soundtracks are a nice touch but a making of the three games would have been sweet.

I understand why people are upset about the price of this collection when the games themselves are pretty old. And because the games are being emulated and not rebuilt from the ground up. However, as someone who never got the chance to play any of these games growing up, I found this to be a pretty great value! $60 for three new (to me) games that are all unique gems. I think that's worth it. Be aware that 64 and Sunshine are not super friendly to brand-new newcomers and are actually quite a bit difficult! So it's easy to get frustrated -- just be prepared for that.

I brought this mario collection games because of limited production Nintendo is going to make. I also got it because mario 64 was in HD along with sunshine and galaxy. I have more interests in sunshine as i haven't played it on gamecube. REVIEWS mario 64 I Love mario 64 this classic for Nintendo 64 bring in a lot of memories of my childhood as this was my first game i got on my N64 days. Control Control is bit difficult is not fluid like the n64. Reviews Sunshine Compare to mario 64 i find this game odd with physics. Mario jumps way to high just doesn't feel good.

I have played two of the three 3D Mario games before, on previous Nintendo game consoles. Super Mario 64 was my very first experience with playing Mario in a 3D platform. To have all 3 Mario games in one is super awesome. I will say, that it takes a little getting used to playing these games using a Switch controller, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun.

This collection is tons of fun! While it is very basic (there aren’t a lot of extra features) the games run very well and are still super fun to play! They adapt Galaxy to work very well using the gyro controls to replace the wii pointer. Would definitely recommend to fans of the games or to people just looking to try them out who may not have the original hardware

I have been Mario games since I was like 6. I love that they brought these three classics together in their original form for a Switch version. And I love how the Switch can easily function like a Wii would on Mario Galaxy, I am truly impressed. These games are all time greats and its awesome to be able to play them on the portable Switch.

I’m actually going to begin by admitting that this was just a cash grab by Nintendo. There was actually a lot of attention that went into repolishing these old classics. I also love the attention to detail on the guides where they show the new controls etc. It seems to be less buggy than the initial release of the games. I literally haven’t noticed any flaws yet.

Really enjoyed getting to play these games again. I’ve owned every Nintendo console and handheld since 1985 and enjoyed them all. The original All Stars was great not only because it brought 4 great Mario games to the SNES, but because it brought them all up to current graphical and audio standards. It was so amazing playing these games with improved sound and visuals. The new game though, simply sharpens the resolution. It would have been amazing to play Mario 64 in wide screen with switch level textures! Still a solid collection, but it could have been so much more.

Three great games on one cartridge is a good deal. A lot of people are complaining about how it's scummy of Nintendo to pull it off shelves and the eShop, and I agree it is lame, but if you want three of the best Mario games in one spot, $60 is not a rip-off. I barely played 64 and still felt like I got my money's worth. Pick up before it's gone!

Wow this brought me right back to the Christmas of 96 or 97 when I finally got my hands on N64, and what a ground breaking system and game. I remember the feeling of amazement playing Mario 64 for the first time like it was yesterday. This feels like the graphics are better than expected based on the reviews of Nintendo not doing anything big. Def a must buy!

This game was pretty much exactly what I expected. They did minor improvements to the graphics and kept game play as it was originally. The ONLY thing I was disappointed in was the inability to use a GameCube controller on Super Mario Sunshine because it doesnt give you the ability to lock your target of your flood nozel while still being able to move your feet.

Super Mario 3D ALL-STARS is a nice compilation of 3D Mario Games finally playable on Nintendo Switch. Included are Mario 64 (N64), Mario Sunshine (Gamecube) and Mario Galaxy (Wii) finally playable in portable form on Nintendo Switch. Having these classic and beloved chapters in Mario's history is nice to finally have on the successful Switch family of consoles.
