Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

As someone who never got to experience the 3D Mario titles before Odyssey, it's great to be able to play them on my switch, on the go no less. While yes, they're just emulated, its still one of the best ways to play them now, as buying each individual game would be over $70 alone. my only downside is that Mario 64 plays with a black border on both the sides AND bottom/top. but otherwise, its great! sunshine and galaxy especially look great in HD!

The nostalgia alone is enough to make you want to get this. Replaying all the old Mario’s takes you back to a time where you didn’t have a care in the world and all you wanted to do was get some stars and save a princess. I highly recommend everyone get this whether you’ve played Mario or not because it will turn you into a huge fan if you aren’t already.

These are three of my favorite Mario games and a wonderful nostalgic experience. However, it’s also a reminder of the major camera issues associated with Super Mario Sunshine. Wish they would have addressed that at least when reissuing. Not a dealbreaker. Also, I wish they had gone to widescreen for Super Mario 64, The widescreen transition looks fine on Sunshine. Overall, I’m very pleased to have this collection. It’s a must-have for Mario fans.

These games play and look better than their original releases. Mario Sunshine in Particularly looks really sharp at 1080p the same can be said about Galaxy. Mario 64 is older and received a more modest bump in resolution but the textures were enhanced and the text is much mire readable. I say this game is good enough and you will have a blast playing them all. My only gripe is that it feels like they could have done more with it, specially Mario 64’s controllers and camera. If you remotely like 3D mario games, these is the collection to get on your Switch!

Three incredible Super Mario classics wrapped up into one collection for the Switch. I've currently played quite a bit of 64 and Galaxy so far, and while 64 is somewhat showing it's age, being able to play the original Galaxy for the first time on a modern platform is a joy to experience. I do wish it had a little more to work with, like maybe some concept art, and having Galaxy 2 would have been lovely (I played that and 100% it when that game came out). Also a little annoying about how it's a limited time situation. Overall though, a great collection.

This collection of games is a good one! Don't get me wrong, but it fell a little short on the sunshine emulation (yes, I said emulation...not port...not remake....). The controls for sunshine were inverted from the origional game cube game. Also there aren't analog triggers on ANY of the switch compatible controllers, so this affects Mario's water jet pack and how it works. Other than that I really like this release, just wish I got my pins before all the boys took them. Also wish they remade them like the crash, spyro and upcoming demons souls remake.

While I think Nintendo could have done more with this collection, like added some art, or behind the scenes videos or SOMETHING, the game are still great. Mario 64 is as good as ever, Sunshine is odd but good and the first time I played Galaxy, I had to quit. The Wii era just wasn’t for me, so I’m just now getting to experience it in full and it’s AMAZING.

Three all-time classics, now unavailable bc they're back in the Nintendo vault. Man, you'll have a ball with these three essential pieces of interactive media, assuming Old Man Miyamoto won't break into your house in the dead of night to hold you accountable for that used copy you had to pick up from the dreaded Stop of Game

Gotta say that you can't go wrong with any Mario game. I've played two out of three of these games when they were originally released many years ago. Now I'm revisiting them again on the Nintendo Switch but with better graphics and the same great gameplay. I'm 20 hours into Super Mario 64 and love it! Brings back lots of fond memories of these games.

The game is a giant trip back to my childhood. Admittedly, the games do not hold up as well as I remembered. Odyssey is so clean that I forgot the journey it took to get there. If you're looking for the feel of Mario then this is your game, but if you're looking for something that will feel like an extension of Odyssey, you're going to be disappointed.

I had never played the old 3D Mario games, and I’ve always wished for the opportunity to play the masterpieces of the past. Now, with a modern console that I can bring with me all over the place, this game has really done it all. The quality is nice and the gameplay is fun as expected. Plus, the soundtracks are a small but cool addition. Highly recommend

Purchased with the gaming console. The Kids like the games but only wish Mario 3D Kart was included... The price of these games seem to remain constant leaving me to believe the fixed price point must have been extremely high in the beginning as the cost to make these games must increase over time. People get paid more; hardware costs more...
