Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

Purchased with the gaming console. The Kids like the games but only wish Mario 3D Kart was included... The price of these games seem to remain constant leaving me to believe the fixed price point must have been extremely high in the beginning as the cost to make these games must increase over time. People get paid more; hardware costs more...

The game is a giant trip back to my childhood. Admittedly, the games do not hold up as well as I remembered. Odyssey is so clean that I forgot the journey it took to get there. If you're looking for the feel of Mario then this is your game, but if you're looking for something that will feel like an extension of Odyssey, you're going to be disappointed.

I had never played the old 3D Mario games, and I’ve always wished for the opportunity to play the masterpieces of the past. Now, with a modern console that I can bring with me all over the place, this game has really done it all. The quality is nice and the gameplay is fun as expected. Plus, the soundtracks are a small but cool addition. Highly recommend

I didn't play these much on their original release as I was a Sony guy at the time. The price is probably a little steep for a few 10+ year old games but they are great games. The one thing I'll say is that they don't really have any major graphical overhauls (other than being brought to HD sharpness) or quality of life improvements. This wasn't that important to me but it may be to you (if you recall the Wii U Zelda remasters, which had several improvements.). The controls on 64 feel a little slippery but I think they've always been that way.

If you have never played these games before you'll probably be impressed with how fun the gameplay is. If you are somebody that's into intense graphics and updated gameplay in this may not be for you. You're a fan of Mario it's a must-have. I don't care about some of the things that they've change for the switch but just to play the games again was fun

Really fun, if you enjoyed any of this at their time of release you will enjoy experiencing them again. IF any of this were before your time be ready to be amazed. Though the graphics on Super MArio 64 leave a bit to be desired especially compared to Sunshine and Galaxy, the game play is still magnificently solid and charming as it was 20+ years ago.

My dad placed the pick up order for me to get my copy and I got an extra one for a coworker. I cant speak on the behalf of my coworker, but I love the game. I should say games. I had 2 out of the 3 (sunshine and galaxy) and I loved them when I was younger, and playing 64 is honestly fun and despite It being an old classic its new to me:).

Nintendo fans love to complain but they're wrong on this. The games are virtually untouched - which is just what I wanted - and play as they did 20+ years ago. Would I like a better camera controls and widescreen in SM64? Sure. It's also not a game-changer for me. Almost 100 hours of Mario across there games - I'm not complaining at all.

It’s nice to finally play these games again. I think 64 could’ve been remade instead (I’ve forgotten how terrible early N64 era controls are) but Sunshine is the real star here. It looks great in HD, plays well, and the added GameCube controller support is nostalgic. Galaxy still feels best on the Wii, but it too looks great in HD. The whole temporarily available thing is... a thing... hopefully when that ends these will be released separately. But all in all it’s a good way to enjoy older games or introduce newer fans to the classics.

Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy are good to amazing games. 64 still plays very well to this day but is a little wanky with it’s camera and being pushed to it’s N64 hardware. The 720P crop is not the worst thing in the world as others say. Sunshine is a weird but great game with it’s controls being the best Mario has ever controlled at the time. And Galaxy is a masterpiece in every department. This is a great collection that you should buy if you love Mario and if you somehow never experienced any or all of these games.

The three games found in this collection are justifiably beloved by many people, including myself, but the way these games are presented in this package is, to put it lightly, lame. The whole collection feels rushed, the main menu layout is only barely passable, and the only extras to speak of are collections of the music in each game. You don't even have any options to speak of (things like inverting or uninverting aiming controls are completely absent). This fact in particular is frustrating if you grew up playing Super Mario Sunshine and are suddenly hit with Nintendo's baffling decision to uninvert aiming and camera controls in this remaster that you can't set back to the original layout. For a limited-run item meant to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., this is definitely much better than that time Nintendo put a SNES game on a Wii disk and called it a day, and it's great to be able to take these games on the go, but at the end of the day, as much as I love these games, this was disappointingly lazy. If Nintendo had put some real work into this collection, Super Mario 3D All-Stars might potentially be my favorite Switch game. As it stands, I just wonder what was (or wasn't) going through their heads when making this.

Super Mario 3D All Stars is a worthwhile bundle of 3 fantastic Mario games. Whether you grew up playing the games or are playing them for the first time; this collection is worth every cent. Although there are complaints with the camera and size of the screen in Mario 64. The pros outweigh the cons and shouldn’t stop anyone from picking this game up.

One of the best Mario collections. There could have made its allot better if they had re made Mario 64 from ground up grapic wise. Making the 64 blocky look smoother to look more like Mario from Sunshine and Galaxy part 1. Only other issue was Galaxy 2 wasn't included. Still it is a solid collection but a very limited one. This title is allready out of print. If you plan to get this do it asap before existing stock is gone. Once it is gone will be much harder and expensive to get. Get it now.
