Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

So nostalgic. My siblings and I gathered around as we replayed the classic mario games and it was perfect. If you played this as a child then I highly recommend you buy this if you have a switch because the graphics are really nice. Also it just felt good to play a game that brought me back to my childhood with my siblings.

Mario 64 is just as fun as I remember, but it's higher definition. Sunshine stands out with it's water element vs evil paint. It can be frustrating at times when the way to complete a task is a bit unclear, but it's still enjoyable. Super Mario Galaxy is the easiest and simplest of the trio. It does get a bit more complex as you progress, but it's more relaxing than Sunshine and the visuals are great. If you have played these 3 and haven't tried Odyssey, I recommend it the most

Super Mario 64 controls did not age well. Super Mario sunshine and galaxy are great games. Overall a good port of 3 great games.

The 3 games in this collection are classic titles that should not be missed. If you have any interest in either revisiting these games, or playing them for the first time, then you cannot go wrong with picking up this collection. Of course Nintendo could have done more to spruce up this collection with improved graphics or even just extra features/unlockables. However I think it is still wonderful to get these 3 games all on one cartridge to be able to play anywhere on the go on the Nintendo Switch.

As good as I remember with improved graphics. Would have been nice for perhaps some added bonus features of deleted levels.

Great game. As expected. Total throwback to the old games from the past. Store associate was great. Online it said that they had it in stock. I couldn’t find it on the floor. I wish I remember his name, but he went to the back and got me a copy. Thank you Best Buy!

The compilation was released on September 18, 2020. It received generally favorable reviews, with praise directed towards its technical improvements, controls, and the games themselves, but criticism for its presentation, limited time release, and lack of additional content - most notably the absence of Super Mario Galaxy 2

Overall, its a great collection of games that will entertain you... for a while. Eventually there will be a point where you finish one of the games or get stuck on one, giving frustration to ‘lower skilled’ players. It would be nice to have some sort of assistance like how Mario Odyssey offers an mode that gives you extra endurance. If you have played all 3 games before, I don’t recommend it; if this is your first time or are a collector, by all means go ahead and make the purchase.

Honestly, what needs to be said? It's 3 stellar, system selling, platform defining games from each generation. My only minor grievance is that Galaxy 2 wasn't included. And all 3 versions, even Galaxy, play amazing in handheld mode. What more could you want?

It's a shame they didn't bother to present Mario 64 in widescreen and update some of the asset scaling, as I've played the heck out of that game already, but I was mostly interested in revisiting Sunshine and playing Galaxy for the first time. Both look lovely and more or less feel like new Mario games. I recommend this collection as it'll be a massive treat for most Nintendo fans. That said, if you're only interested in one or two of the games, you can buy them separately on the eShop (pretty sure).

Awesome little collection, if you're a fan of 3D mario Games, this is it. I truly only bought this to play Mario 64 on a modern TV set, since the original N64 looks awful with newer TVs, but the other two games are a plus, Mario 64 is in 720p though, the other two are in glorious 1080p, so get it, while you still can.

This game is a great collection of main series Mario games from the earlier 3D era of Nintendo. From throwing Bowser in Super Mario 64 to using FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine to flying around planets in Super Mario Galaxy, this collection of games is sure to keep both new and old fans of Mario entertained for a long time.

I played all three of these when I was a child. Being able to live all three of them again, in one little piece of plastic for $60? 100% worth it. They could have easily sold each game for $60, even $40-50 and they didn't. If you're getting to try it out for the first time or just wanting to relieve your memories, DO IT.

It's shocking how much the games have been improved due to increasing resolution, whilst still staying true to the originals. Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy especially look very clean, almost comparable to natively developed switch games. Must-buy for any fan of 3D Mario. Galaxy is one of the best games of all-time,

When Nintendo announce the game was coming out this year, I knew I had to get it! Playing Super Mario 64 when I was kid was by the far the best gaming experience! Getting the chance to play it now, dreams do come true! As for the other games, I never got to play them, but now I do!

This game will stop being sold and manufactured in March of 2021. After that beware of the scalpers. This has 3 great 3d Mario platformer games running on an emulator on the Nintendo Switch. They work perfectly and run smooth on the system. Great buy for collector's or all out Mario fans. 35 years of Mario celebration.

The think to keep in mind is that these are not remasters of the original games. They do have increased visual fidelity, but are just emulated ports of Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy 1. That being said, they still retain the same fun, challenging gameplay and the nostalgia factor hits just right.

Super Mario 3D Allstars is definitely worth it for collectors and people who actually want to play 3D Mario. It’s amazing to finally be able to play Sunshine and Galaxy on the go with 64 included. The sound tracks you could just listen to in the menu are a nice little touch that was not even needed. Overall, great game!

Got this since I've gone through Odyssey and all the other Mario Switch games. I vaguely remember playing Mario 64 a few decades ago. Still haven't gotten the hang of it. But I'm really looking forward to the February release of Mario 3D World. This one has three games, I think the better one is Galaxy. It says it's for up to two players. Haven't tried playing with two players, not sure if it's about taking turns. So for now, this game will do until an actual new Mario game gets released.

Little expensive for these ports but seeing how these are some of my favorite games of all time I had to have them. Mario 64 looks a little better on the switch than my hdmi 64 but I still prefer the trident controller. Haven’t had a chance to test the other 2 games out. Galaxy 2 should’ve been included as well...
