Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

64 and sunshine are very poorly optimized. Some improvement has been made in updates but it's kind of pathetic that Nintendo put so little effort into these rereleases. The limited release is a terrible gimmick as well.

Excellent game, but a big headache just to be able to pick up my preorder from you guys which I will not be doing that again. I had to go through a lot just to get my game.

These are great games, but there's no option to invert the camera on SM64 and Sunshine. That's been a standard option on pretty much every game made for the past 15 years or more, but Nintendo couldn't be bothered.

    Lazy Re-Release

This is a lazy re-release by Nintendo. Little to no effort to correct issues such as the camera and input delay on Mario 64. I miss so many wall jumps in this game but perform flawless on virtual console on Wii U.

Nintendo really phoned it in on this one. For some of their most iconic games, you really would think they'd put some extra TLC into the presentation, but it's pretty bare bones. And where is Super Mario Galaxy 2?

The games have almost no improvements over the originals, they’re just emulations. Mario 64 isn’t even widescreen. It does have the soundtracks and that’s cool, but I wish I had withheld from this purchase.

The games themselves are still great (as expected), but this release is one of the most anti-consumer releases from an infamously corporate Nintendo.

It's in the title. There is no excuse for this Lazy, emulated port. Literally just use an Emulator on your phone, PC, or tablet, and save yourself the headache and money. This was p(i)ss poor, no excuse, Cash grab lazy to the maximum from Nintendo, and as a Gamer who's first Exposure to gaming was the original Super mario bros, this is just frustrating to see the longest reigning video game character be treated with utter most disrespect in this form. The community has done more to preserve these games than Nintendo does trying to rip off their audience. DO NOT BUY!!!

It's literally just those 3 old games put onto a cartridge for the switch. Nothing improved or changed, so the camera issues are still very much there. Good for the nostalgia is it but that's it.

Pretty lazy anniversary game, and overpriced. If you never played any of the games And you really wanna try them go ahead, but if you already have the old games you shouldn’t bother with this

Was highly excited for this game but was left a little disappointed. I actually just bought it for the Super Mario 64 game but since no major enhancements were made I feel a bit cheated.

Let’s be honest you’re picking up this game for one of two reasons first for the nostalgia feeling or to resell for a billion dollars somewhere down the line this is really a poor excuse of a collection no Mario galaxy 2 they haven’t even explained yet as to why it’s not here no Mario 3d world like seriously did you have to split them and then have 3d world come out in February last and not least no special features no special interviews etc this is just a bare bones release it would’ve gotten 5 stars but since all of the above happened it gets 1

If you want to replay sunshine, maybe this will float your boat. They should have added galaxy 2 for a more complete experience and the main menu looks like a rookie made it.

This game should be $20 or $30, not $60. The controls are terrible and the camera angles are even worse. Wish I could return this game.

Absolute garbage. All 3 games are just bad. Total 100% waste of money. Graphics were better on N64. Controls also don't feel right.

This game has a lot of problems with joycon drift in Super Mario Sunshine, I also didn't got the pins for Super Mario 35th Anniversary. Super Mario 64 doesn't feel the same.

Crap emulated versions of old games sold for $60. Nintendo loves money. No extras other than a crap soundtrack feature.
