Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

Extremely fun and very worth the purchase. These classics coming back to switch is exactly what the system needed, especially super Mario sunshine. All of them look great on switch, if you never played them or are wondering what games a kid would like for single player. This and Minecraft are your go to.

Only has one player. And tried to return the game, because it was not what would work for us. And the Best buy would not return it, because it had been opened and could not even get a gift card, because the game was to new and had no value.

I hate the fact that you can’t return a game when it’s a gift? this really disappointed me, I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything from here from now on, just really disappointed with the “new policy” they have on returns lol

My bad, I thought these were remastered for the switch. Alas no. Really old graphics, hard game play with switch controllers... worth $19.99 for nostalgia I guess, but not worth the $59.99 new game price tag!

These games are classics. They are not worth rebuying or even for the first time for the total lack of effort Nintendo took for the price of $60

I preordered this game the day it was announced and I should’ve received it yesterday. But instead, the delivery is being pushed back to Monday. I won’t be preordering anything from here anymore.

I am so happy with this game! I grew up playing super Mario 64 and sunshine, so this collection is nostalgia heaven! Everything is mostly as it is on the original games, but the graphics and frame rates are updated. Be aware that these 3 games are PORTS, not remakes, updated for HD but mostly remain pure to the originals. Textures remain the same so super Mario 64 has some dated textures, but i don't mind because they feel right at home in that game. All in all I love it so much. Very few cons listed here (imo): For 64, it is the international version port (to give us rumble pack support), so no backwards long jump glitch for speed running. Doesn't affect no-skip game play at all and the rumble in the controller is nice to have. Old issues still exist, like camera angle problems and getting jerkily stuck on edges. For Sunshine, fluud feels kinda weird compared to the original because the controls for the spray are slightly different without the GameCube controller triggers, and the direction controls for the single spray are backwards, that is to say not inverted. I'm sure I'll get used to it with more play. For Galaxy, the most authentic way to play is to use the joy cons rather than a controller, to play like you would with the wii nunchucks. It works well once I get the right joycon calibrated in the best spot for me to easily move it. This is frustrating however, and can take a good 10 mins every time I play to get it all positioned and set up right. At least the calibration happens in 1 second by pressing r, with no pause in play, so that is a huge plus. It is definitely easier to play with joycons than with the pro controller, as I found controlling the motion sensor with the controller a little difficult and cumbersome. --- Overall, love it 10/10 would buy again. It's an easy accessible way to play a game I've loved for 24 years, along with two other great historical Mario games that are just icing on the cake for me. If you loved any of these games growing up, you'll enjoy this! If you have a Mario fan kiddo, they'll probably enjoy getting to play earlier games from the franchise, made easier to play with the Switch.

I love these games individually, but the way Nintendo has handled this collection is garbage. And make sure to buy before March 31st before they put it back into the Disney Vault.

Just emulated ports, not remakes. Super Mario 64 isn't widescreen. Mario Galaxy looks terrible and it plays strangely.
