Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the high quality of the three included games, frequently citing the nostalgic appeal and overall value as significant positives. Many also enjoy the fun factor and portability of the collection. However, some users point to control and camera issues as potential drawbacks, along with a feeling that the games are not significantly enhanced from their original versions.

What a deal.. three great games from my childhood well at least with 64 and Sunshine. Only thing is I forgot how hard it was for me to get the controls for sunshine down when I was a kid but after an hour I was good to go this time:). Great game for everyone this Christmas you really can’t go wrong with it I would have purchased all of these games separately for the switch had they released it like that but what a deal

    A Super Limited Mario Game

Super Mario 3D Allstars is a must buy. These are not remakes but the games look better. Nintendo has since launch updated so you can adjust the way your camera controls. Controlling the camera Super Mario 64 for new players may feel strange but hey that was cutting edge back in the day when it released. However, once you get the hang out it playing through the game and finding the stars is a thrill. Super Mario Sunshine was a game I never finished but its way better than I thought. Alot of people hate on Sunshine but I’ve really enjoyed my time in Sunshine. Its an easier game to me than Mario 64 because in Sunshine they show you a clue to where the star is. So I’d say its a easier game. Galaxy looks really good but its a game I struggle controlling the most with its orientation. Maybe I haven’t figured out how to best control Mario but he’s upside down it makes me dizzy. I wish this collection wasn’t a limited release but thankfully there seems to be plenty of copies (right now) for people to buy. I just worry about the kids who get a Switch post March 31 and aren’t able to get this. I think that could be a turnoff for would be players and thats not a good way to increase your player base and to bring on the next generation of Mario fans. Could Nintendo have remade these- or have include a remake option so you could have decided to play the original or remaster- yes. Could they have included more special features- yes. But I’m just glad we got these games for the Switch.

Mario 64 was so shakey and hitchy that it made me physically nauseous. Mario Sunshine had some pretty bad input latency (playing on pro controller). Mario Galaxy is the best in the package. However, with the originals with an inverted Y-axis, these controls are standard and there is no option to change them. It makes the muscle memory useless. The games are classics and I'm glad to have them, but these ports could have used more TLC and not the rush and up-res job that they got; quality of life improvements are needed and frame rates need to be fixed. It is a shame because these games are S-tier classic 3D Mario games that just could be better.

This is a tremendous product. Nintendo made very slight improvements to these titles, but they are essentially as you remembered them. Given everyone's N64 controllers are in terrible shape and the original consoles need help connecting to modern televisions, this is a no-brainer purchase. It's just a shame that Nintendo has not given us the assurance that this will be available after March 2021.

This is a great collection that spans three generations of Nintendo consoles from the N64 to the Wii. If you played these games when they came out they will bring back fond memories. For those of you who haven't had the chance to play these in the past you will get a collection of some of Mario's best titles. The only downside is that Nintendo could have put a little more care into this by adding concept art, updated Mario 64 with widescreen and fixed the control and camera issues, and included Mario Galaxy 2. Even without these things this is still a great value. Be sure to buy it before it's gone at the end of March!

I have played Mario since his beginning and Mario 64 is the best so just to have that to play is great but adding Sunshine and Galaxy is amazing. All good games very nostalgic I would recommend getting this game and a switch system to play this if they haven't done so yet. I have a copy and my son has a copy of the game too. We love it all three games included plus you get the soundtrack to each game

Nintendo did a good job on this release. For the average person who wants to enjoy old games that are not so easily obtainable or a lot of people who have modern TV's who can't even hook up Composite even anymore (Yes that is slowly disappearing!) This is a wonderful release that runs very solid at home or even on the go! Valuing each at 20 a pop. Mario sunshine alone would run you 50 plus for the Gamecube copy. Making this a great bundle realistically. Not only that but all of these have definitely had a wonderful HD remastering treatment of updated textures being patched on the fly and wonderfully remastered music with a music listening mode even to enjoy. All in all, this is a great value and definitely going to be a nice collectible down the road. Only gripes with this release personally: -Wish they added multiplayer to Super Mario 64 (The original planned Co-OP or the DS version multiplayer) -Super Mario 64 did not get Widescreen or 60FPS. Both easily done by Modders who de-compiled the game. -Super Mario Sunshine didn't get any quality of life upgrades like with the Blue Coins since the game is mostly a port. It's not like they don't have the source code. -Galaxy 2 was not included. Do not understand what there deal is as apparently a lot of people love Galaxy 2 a lot over the first one. Despite all of that. This rocks to play on the go and it feels very good. Get one before Nintendo pulls it from the market next year.

Oh man! Mario time. As soon as I saw Nintendo announce this game. I bought it right away. To play these fantastic games without needing the old systems or an emulator AND on my switch. I'll take it. People complain, but that's their problem. Honestly be happy you can play this on the go and anywhere. Brings back such good memories of playing this game as a kid. Definitely recommend.
